Came for the third service for my lease GLA. Its been a while since i was here.m, seems like they did a lot of renovations. The customer section , where you can get coffee and water is gone . That section was converted into acccessories boutique. They are not giving complimentary coffee anymore. Maybe its due to covid.I was the first one at 7 am on a saturday. While waiting for the service , cant help but hear two staff talking, complaining about management and a lot of discussions about customers.i heard them saying that management wants good customer service, but theyre not doing what theyre suppose to be doing with customers. You should hear the discussions about customers. They talk about some customers so bad. An hour later i was told that my tire on the back driver side has a hole and ask me if i wanted the tire change for $350. I said no. The service in this dealership is going down. Btw. I have pre paid service for the car. Eveytime i come for service they always made me pay for something extra. This time i said no. Ive been a customer since 1996. My lease will be up soon. Nog sure if im getting another car from Them read more

After having a couple of problems with this dealer and being upset, I received a welcomed phone call from Margaret McNulty at Prestige who apologized profusely and provided the upmost customer service. She is an asset to this dealership and really made us feel better about our experience. Dominic, who I spoke to on the phone was also extremely nice, and I can honestly say, I will go back to this dealer just because of my phone call with them. If this is any indication of the way this company treats their customers, this is the place you want to buy your car and parts from. Thank you Margaret & Dominic. read more

My wife took her truck in for a scheduled service. When I purchased the truck it came with two free services. Well when my wife took the truck in apparently the services weren't on record. The people in the service dept couldn't find anything. I got in touch with the salesperson who sold me the car, Dan Raspanti, who is now the pre-owned cars dept manager. He remembered me and after 15 minutes called me back and took care of the problem. Needless to say I will be purchasing my next car from Prestige Motors and getting in touch with Dan Raspanti. Thanks to him I give Prestige Motors 4 stars. read more

MONTH-END SALES TRICKERY! Was interested in trading in my Lexus and purchasing a 2016 silver GL450 I saw advertised on their website. Got a quote on the trade in and set up morning appointment. Showed up early and looked around with my wife. Finally, Sales Manager Cindy came over and told us the GL was on the roof lot. Went up to roof and it was not there. Said it was in shop. Looked around some more. Sales associate Joel came over and told us it was on the roof lot again but tried to get us to buy a different GL that we weren't interested in. Took us for a test drive in a 2018 GL and started pitching leasing instead of financing. Said to come back later in the afternoon and the silver GL would be out of the shop, ready to show and test drive. Came back as promised with Lexus to trade in and finalize deal only to be told someone had bought the GL we were waiting for. We never saw the vehicle, we didn't see a sales order and they claim the GL was no longer on the lot. Joel still tried to sell us a different GL. If they didn't have the advertised vehicle to sell, I wish they would have been honest up front. Very disappointed in the trickery. read more

The most unprofessional dealership I've ever been to in my entire life. A complete disgrace for Mercedes-Benz or any car dealership on that note. Went there today to purchase a 2018 (pre-owned certified) GLE AMG the dealership knew that I was driving an hour to come down and see it and I even spoke to them when I left my home. When I got to the dealership when I got to the dealership to my surprise, the car was not even there, the car was being used by the general manager and no one told me about it. Not only did I sit in the dealership for almost an hour, when the general manager finally decided to show up he did not even come over to introduce himself or apologize for the inconvenience knowing that I was on a limited time frame. Then, I go out to look at the vehicle and the car was literally disgusting. It was not prepped, it was not cleaned. When I open the door there was garbage inside of the vehicle along with soda bottles and water bottles and without any exaggeration the car literally stunk. I looked at the sales person with disbelief as I got into the car. While driving the car and looking at all of the scratches that were throughout the interior. After a useless sales drive on Route 17 for approximately 2 miles in traffic I bring the car back to the dealership and told them that I've seen 5 year old auction cars look better than that vehicle. At that point I told them to clean and detail the car and get it ready for someone to look at and then bring the car up to me since they wasted my entire day. Their response, we don't have a deal on the car yet why would we do that? Again, with disbelief, I explained to the salesman that this car should never have been shown in this condition and that the dealership customer service and management was absolutely disgusting. Please do not think that this is a rant, I have never left a bad review on another business in my life but if you want your time wasted, get a horrible deal on a vehicle, you better know the right questions to ask if you're looking at new, pre-owned or pre-certified or you will end up getting the shaft. This is definitely a buyer beware dealership read more

If you go to this dealer ask for Jieun Lee!!! The only reason I am giving five stars is because of Jieun's excellent service and patience! Jieun went above and beyond showing and test driving multiple cars and models. She was patient, honest and totally charming the entire experience. We decided on a car then half way through the paperwork changed our mind and diverted to another car Jieun was gracious and quickly pivoted, didn't show any signs of stress taking us through the entire process again, constantly engaging. Jieun listens to her clients and matches their needs. She is so professional and delivers excellent service! I'll definitely refer my friends and if your looking for five star service ask for Jieun! Jieun also helped negotiate a higher trade in and selling price over 2 cars !!! She definitely worked very hard to get us what we were willing to pay and making sure we were happy ! Can't wait to pick up the car Monday! read more

Monte Harris is a great rep. He is friendly, trust worthy and he knows cars. I brought my GL 550 to fix a tire where the air pressure kept on going down. Another dealership said they fixed the issue but they didnt. the air pressure kept going down. When I brought it into Prestige, Monte and the mechanic was able to figure out the issue and he didn't tell me that I needed a new tire. A few weeks later, I got a flat tire on my C43 so I called Monte to let him know hat I was bringing my car in, he remembered me = great customer service. When I told him that the tire was replaced less than a year ago, he told me that the tire was covered under the one year warranty and I would just have to pay for labor. I told him that I had an appointment to get to and needed to get out by a certain time and he made it happen. read more

Mercedes-Benz of Paramus delivered an exceptional experience. The dealership's Sales and Service departments provide an unparalleled customer experience! I would highly recommend this dealership! read more

I needed New batteries for my S550. I had not made an appointment but turned up to the Paramus showroom anyway, hoping they might fit me in. They obliged beautifully and the lady who dealt with my request was more than delightful. I did have to wait a while but that was okay. I sat in their waiting area and if I had a comment to make it would be that they need more coffee tables to place a drink upon, or a laptop or tablet. There are plenty of chairs but just one small table, which is not sufficient. The chairs are fairly comfy but not overcomfy. Everyone is very polite and courteous which I suppose is a MUST in this type of dealership. Obviously Mercedes Benz is an elite category of vehicle and this dealership certainly follows suit. read more

I am looking to purchase a MB and went to this dealer in paramus nj with high expectations given the fact i am looking to buy a luxury car. I went there once and got terrible service from a sales guy whose name i forgot. I returned two weeks later trying to find a different sales person to help. I dealt with Jeff who seemed to be pretty tired. I knew the car i was looking at a lot better than he did and he could not answer simple questions on extras. Overall i felt like nobody in the whole place cared about my interest to buy a car. The service to me was unprofessional. Not one time was i asked what i am looking for in a car and what my needs are. I do not recommend this dealership. Check out globe motors in fairfield or ray catena. read more

A lot of hustle of trying to make money. Not in the best interest of the customer and you feel that way sitting there. I personally drive a BMW, but was here to purchase work vehicles. There is a ton of pressure to sell cars here, the quota is ridiculous (this I know because I personally know an employee). I mean, look at this place, it looks like Superman's fortress. It's beautiful, cars are pretty too. But they're a bit lost, after purchasing our vehicles, it's the after issues you don't get help with. Getting your plates in a timely matter for one and then charging you $400.00 when you pick them up. Are you kidding me. No one explains things to you either. It's all about making that deal quickly. Oh and how do they miss telling us that our diesel fueled vehicles need a special liquid every so often miles!!! no presentation/walk through when we pick up our vehicles. I bought a $96,000 car and my (BMW) salesman went through every button/switch there was. It's crazy how you feel rushed and thrown out, even when you did get the car.?! Service: is just service. Oil changes here for one of cars is a bit over $400. That special liquid for diesel engines $120/4 bottles. You can make an appt like and get what you need done. Place is very nice. People are friendly, but don't know costs. Service waiting area is a plus, very good snacks. they offer breakfast bagels with fruit, yogurt parfait cups, water, coffee. They offer a lunchtime snack of a deli sandwich and cookies. I guess that was the highlight of my review. read more

Ok I'm going down to one star- just tried to schedule an oil change and filter - first I was calling for 3 days and no one picked up in the service dept - finally called sales and they connected me. I Purchased a 2013 Mercedes Benz 550 SL with 24,000 miles in December 2018. The car was delivered with a half a tank of gas filthy inside and out no manual. the dealership took a deposit for a registration I was supposed to receive a refund for the difference, which they never did till I chased them down. I drove the car home put it in my garage went to use it the next time and it was locked in park The car was flat bedded back to the dealership they had to rectify the problem. The general manager named Dennis Adam said to me I didn't build the car so I don't have any responsibility for the problems you had. Corporate took my complaint, escalated it up to a higher level and then responded to me with we don't have control over the dealerships read more

Purchased my first Mercedes on 10/31/13 from Prestige Motors in Paramus, NJ. Decided to go with the CLA250, as I had done much research on the vehicle prior to its release to the US. The dealership itself is immaculate. Clean, organized, and the salespeople [mine was Adam S.] are absolutely pleasant and professional. The whole process, which at first I thought would be difficult considering I was trading in a 2013 Civic I had purchased back in April, was smooth and reasonable. Tarek, one of the finance/business managers, assisted with the entire process. Without a doubt, exiting the dealership that day with my new CLA250 left me with a very positive attitude towards Prestige. HOWEVER, I'm VERY much displeased with their customer service. I've worked in luxury high end retail for several years and never have I had such poor service. Just a week after purchasing the vehicle, I was driving home one night and suddenly the check engine light lit up on the dashboard. I was completely shocked, and more so nervous, as I had no idea what was going on. I brought the vehicle in that same night, and was told it required a "software update" and that this was common with all new CLAs, and that it should take no more than 3-4 hours. Shouldn't this have been done prior to my purchase? No problem. Do whatever needs to be done. Their loaner department reps, Rick, along with service advisor Franca, provided me with a loaner vehicle, which was great considering it was 10pm when I dropped it off and I had to work very early the next morning... One day later, no phone call. Listen, I know there are a dozen other MB's being serviced, but prioritizing is key in this business. Why am I reaching out to you in regards to my car being ready? So after attempting to reach the service dept for about 20 minutes [keep in mind they have over 10 different telephones numbers listed on Google, their own website, and various other google related searches], I finally reach someone who says the vehicle is ready. OK great. Pick it up and its good to go. Just a week before Christmas, check engine light comes on again... I'm like OK...Last time this happened it was a software update...Whats the deal now? 50 miles later, I pull up to the dealership and hope to hear the same thing. They tell me they'll pull it in the service dept and give me a call tomorrow with an update... OK sure. No prob. I'm not that difficult. I get it. Its a busy time of the year, service dept is crazy, etc. etc... So two days later, I get a phone call from Brian, who tells me they're going to look at the vehicle TOMORROW.... Did that phone call make any sense? Nonetheless, I said OK Brian, thanks for the call... But again, two days, no phone call. So again, 10 minutes of phone calls, I get through to Brian who tells me something is wrong with my o2 sensor, a control module thats installed at the center of the vehicle has to be changed, and a harness has to be replaced. I had NO idea how all of this occurred and still don't with a brand new vehicle thats less than two months old. So I said ok no prob Bryan.. Whats the timeframe looking like? He then says that the control module is being ordered from Germany and will take up to two weeks to receive... So I ask is this normal for a brand new vehicle to have THIS many issues? Rather than comforting me, he simply says "uhhh... no.. its not.." and re-explains the common software update, but tells me the harness and o2 sensor/control module is a first. So now its been almost two weeks, I'm using a loaner, I have NO update from Prestige as the part is being shipped from Germany [do they NOT have express shipping for these things? 10-14 business days is NOT satisfactory] oh, and my car payment is due in just a few more days. Why am I making a payment for a car that I don't have? I feel like the vehicle has been with the dealer longer than its been with me. I'm not quite sure who's more responsible, Prestige or MB... But either way, this experience is leaving a VERY dissatisfactory taste in my mouth. I'm hoping those survey phone calls don't come my way... Because I will NOT be leaving positive feedback. I'm TIRED of loaners.... Where is MY car!? read more

We had a wonderful experience at this Mercedes Benz dealer! From beginning to end, Andrew Franco provided us with exceptional and responsive service that surpassed the other dealerships in the area, like Jack Daniels Audi and Park Ave BMW, by far. This bad review of Paramus Mercedes is for Service ( I also owe them one bad one for sales ). It took them 6 days to change an oil in my car. I left it there on Saturday and it was suppose to be ready the same day ( according to the service adviser ). I called like 6 times since Monday and each time the service people said "It's not ready" , "It's not ready" , "it's not done yet" , "it's not done yet" . So what the hell are they doing there with my car for 6 days I'm asking. I got really annoyed today and I yield via phone when I was leaving them a voice message. The car had only 6,700 miles on it when I was leaving it there. It's a new car, I only had it for a year so this was the 1st service....there was nothing wrong with it that they should be working on...so why 6 days, and why there was no communication there on their side? No one called me from the service dept., no emails, no nothing... So that's why only 1 star in this review. If they apologize and do a lot better job the next year when I leave my car there in 2015, I might remove this review. But for now, I'm pissed and that's what they get as my feedback. I am finishing this review 4 hours later....after I finally got my car. They washed and and vacuumed it too. But guess what... They only vacuumed the top of the floor mats, but when I lifted the floor mats on the driver's side there was lots mess, little stones, rocks, send, crushed dry leaves, other dirt, etc... So C'mon now... they kept the car for 6 days and couldn't even do a decent washing and vacuuming job? Looks like they don't care at all ! I think the problem there is...everybody there is just money hungry so they just push for sales volume, then the service people can't catch up with load of work they get ( even though they seam to work 2 shifts in service because they're open till 11pm during the week ). So everyone in service rush thru and they overlook things ( things like simple vacuuming the car's floors ). They don't understand that Luxury brand as Mercedes should come with extremely high luxury of everything from the moment you stop in their doors. Shiny showroom, free coffee, clean bathroom tiles and smiling sales people are not enough guys ! I think everyone there including owners should be sent for 2 months of training to Germany and see how they work together there...and how things are done in a real Mercedes Benz dealership in Germany. I feel sorry for the guy ( their employee ) , whoever he is, who has to read all these 1 star reviews every day and respond to them. But it is not the first time they got a 1 star review. I just went thru almost all of them and 90% of them are 1 star ! Doesn't anyone else at the dealership read them and does something about it? I mean C'mon Prestige guys, call a big management meeting altogether with your sales and service people and do something about them. Otherwise you will just keep getting them and you will just keep ruining your reputation there. read more

The first time I visited this place, there was a guy who came to help me to find the car that I was looking for who's name I think was Joe or Josh (I forgot). I was completely new to that place so I wasn't sure where I can go take a look at CLA 250. Joe was giving me attitude and talking to me when chewing a gum which I can hear the sound of chewing! I feel that because I was wearing sneakers and sporty outfit, I think he sees me as a young stupid kid who just fools around here. However, I left and then found Jeff Chun on google review and lots of people said he's a awesome dealer. I then called him and make a schedule with him to see the car but now I have moved on from CLA to C300, I have changed my mind and canceled the test drive several times and Jeff didn't even show me any attitude at all !! Finally we have negotiated the price and the car and I was about to take the car home, but I suddenly saw the interior color and really didn't like the color at all, I then turned to him and said sorry this is not the interior color I want, and I know it was my mistake and I thought he would be a little annoyed by me. BUT he didn't! He then said I thought this is the color you want, but it's okay what color do you like? and then I said I like black interior. He then found the car I like and have the package that I like and FOUND THE PRICE I LIKE which I think readers would want to know the most. I would definitely recommend Jeff Chun, because the way he handles clients are very professional and he can definitely help you to get the price that fits in your budget. BTW, I admitted that I did look like a young kid who's searching for a car there, but Jeff Chun still helped me in a professional way without being to pushy and gives you the time to think and even held the car you were thinking in case someone sells the car. The conclusion is Jeff Chun is really the best dealer that I have ever met, I worked in a media company and do lots of review works when any work or project has completed. so if I have experience something bad I will definitely speak out on the review, but Jeff Chun gave me 100% satisfaction and even called me three days after just to see if there is any concern or issue I have. Anyone who's first time buying a car should go to him, I'm pretty sure he will be patient and help you to get what you want. Alice Sung read more

I wanted to give this dealership 0 stars, but I had to give one to post. My 2016 GLE350 had an issue with the windows going out of sink and the car got wet. A person at the dealership reset the window system. There was over $4,000 in damages and the dealership and Mercedes will not cover any repair. They are basically saying we left the window open. On many forums this issue is discussed when your window will not close and this will not show an error in the computer. This dealership will not accept that the system was re-set by them. So they will not cover the cost of the repair. I have been in contact with the GM and this could not be resolved. This is the second and last Mercedes I will ever purchase. read more

Worst experience all around with sales and service. After avoiding this dealership justified by our last bad experience we decided to give Prestige another chance due to the convenient location. I waited 10 days for my appointment, car was in the shop for ONE week to replace a rear passenger door handle. After the week I went to the dealership to pick up my car. I got my keys, went to my car and went to look at the work to see THEY NEVED FIXED MY DOOR HANDLE. Incompetent, arrogant and overpriced!!! I called up Benzel Busch when I got home. STAY AWAY!!!! IT WAS A HORROR!!! THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! TRAUMATIZING!!! Giving one star bc it's needed to leave a review I'll make this as short as possible... I dropped off my 2010 GLK350 December 4, 2015 for maintenance & a clicking sound I heard whenever I made a turn or hit a bump. I get a loaner I'm happy expecting my car back the most 2 days later. I get a call a week later from JOHN SKOPETOS saying it was my transmission. Fine I agree to all of his suggestions. After being as patient as can be, I ask JOHN SKOPETOS at least 10 times before I picked up my car on January 8, 2016 (a month & 4 days later) if everything was fine he assured & reassured me everything was great he drove the car no issues to worry about. I pick up my car Jan 8, 2016 only to take it back Jan 9, 2016 because my car now trembles as if it's from the '30s. My screen also has lines going across it which weren't there before! I get a loaner & again get a call a week later from JOHN SKOPETOS saying it was my engine. By now I'm upset, impatient & very skeptical of their "work". 2 wks go by JOHN SKOPETOS calls me & tells me my car is ready they fixed the engine, the screen but now my driver side door does not lock!!! they fix that too!!!!! I go in January 22, 2016 (6 wks 4 days later) January 23, 2016 driving to work I get cut off by a jerk I go to honk my horn & guess what?!!! THERE'S NO HORN!!!! Which also was fine before I took my car to PRESTIGE MOTORS. To make matters worse the check I wrote Prestige of 1,147.42 ( thank god for warranty) the 1st time I picked up my car I understandably so cancelled through my bank which I communicated to JOHN SKOPETOS he agreed & understood my car was back at their shop the next day! While my car was still there for 3 more weeks they send me to COLLECTIONS!!! I'm receiving harassing calls at all times day/night while my car is still being "fixed" by them!!! I take off from work head to Prestige talk to a manager named ANTHONY who was a total jerk! Told me it would take 2-3 days to fix the horn a loaner would be provided ect. I LOST IT!! I WENT OFF! I couldn't believe that after all that "work" (totaling $11,200.22-again thank god for warranty) all that time they still couldn't get it right!!! I called the police filed a police report they fixed my horn in 40 mins & didn't charge me a dime!!! Even the police officers agreed & said if they do take them to court! I was beyond disgusted. The embarrassment, the aggravation, day off from work, the constant back & forth, milking my warranty benefits, their attitude as if I was the problem ALL OF IT WAS JUST DISGUSTING!!!! So - bought a Certified Pre Owned C 300 in September 2011. It was a 2009 model with just 8,000 miles on it. So - fast forward to May 2013 and out of the blue the drivers side seat rips (on the seams) and the drivers side door handle just stops working. I call the dealership; read off the VIN number and make an appointment. Upon getting there, greeted and everyone is super nice. We sit down and then - Bam ... we're sorry mam, but "this" particular issue isn't covered. They quoted me over $1,200 just at the desk to repair both ... and we all know dealerships end up being more then they quote. I have a whopping 26,000 miles on my car and as a woman in my 30's I do not abuse my vehicle. I ended up taking my car elsewhere for repair. Awful experience. Me and mom went in looking to lease a car, we didn't have an appointment, just came in to look around! We were greeted at the front and the lady told us a sales man will be with us shortly. I walked around the whole showroom and wasn't able to find the car we were looking for. The sales man was Trashhhhh, the second I saw him already knew he wasn't going to be any help. He said hi and that was as helpful as he was going to be. Talking to him was like talking to the wall, he was not interested in talking to us even in the slightest and I'm guessing it was because it was two women that wanted to talk about cars as a opposed to a husband or man. We told him what we wanted and immediately he told us they didn't have any and proceeded to show us other cars, I guess he figured sense he didn't have the car he wasn't even going to bother. He didn't take us to a table/computer and work up some numbers of other cars or even help us find the car we were looking for, eventually he offered that we could build the car and went in the back and brought us back two ridiculous offers and sat there expecting us to entertain them. When we asked if he would work with us a little more he instantly refused any discount and said this was the lowest price we could ever get with a smug grin. My mom even asked him if we put wayyyy more money down would it help and he told us the monthly price would stay literally the same, which ofcourse doesn't even make the slightest sense. I hinted to my mom just to get up and leave because this man had no intention of helping us at all, he gave us his business card and we threw it away right where it belonged in the trash outside. Right after this shitty experience we drove down to the Englewood Benz dealership and had an amazing experience, they truly know what customer service is and we drove off with the car we wanted with the price we wanted later that day. Don't bother coming here unless you truly want to get ripped off. read more

Dropped my car off at 8:15am for a recall service. The recall letter said the repair would take about 30 minutes. When I called to schedule the service the receptionist said it would take about 2 1/2 hours. I said ok, made plans to drop off the car and have it back by noon. As soon as I left the dealership I received a text message announcing my service contact to call and text with any questions. As soon as I got to work I received a few emails offering to buy my car or trade up, also received a phone call offering to buy my car for me to trade up. It seems they are very good at calling you back to make a sales pitch. But I started to text them at 12 asking for a status on the repair, no answer, called the service dept was on hold for 20 minutes, was on the phone with the receptionist for at least 8 minutes because she couldn't find my name after I spelled it multiple times, on hold again until she proceeded to tell me my service contact would call me shortly. 20 minutes later I finally get a phone call from them with excuses that he just got my paperwork while he was out to lunch, seems kind of weird that I would get a text from him saying he is my service contact but he didn't have my paperwork. Long story short 30 minute repair is taking 6 hours. How is this acceptable? Stay away from this dealership things have really gone downhill since Prestige sold :-( read more
