Best sugar free products I've ever eaten!
    Mikey H.

Three words: DARK CHOCOLATE ARARE! My mom said I needed to stop back in here and try this sweet morsel of heavenly delight! It is sooooooo good! The flavors play off of each other so well! I wish I had more room in my carryon! I also got the sugar free dark chocolate macs which are really good too! Oh and the sugar free mac nut cookies....which didn't last very long! Mahalo!

Not only is the candy amazing, the factory your was awesome. 100% Hawaiian Family owned business! Love love love. We want to come back and support them every year. The chocolate was so creamy and balanced. Come and support the oldest Hawaiian Candy maker!

Dark Chocolate Arare. Pineapple snow, Orange Creme, Chocolate Matcha!! My goodness. The list goes on. They are locally owned and operated since 1939. I am ashamed to say I pass this place almost daily and NEVER stopped in to check it out. Voted Best In Honolulu for YEARS now and today was my first visit to their Factory and Factory Store. I am pleasantly surprised to the warmth and friendliness of the staff and management who took time to explain their product line. They have log bags, logo t shirts and many other items you could get and use as gifts. I am also ashamed to say it took me 6 months to stop in as they were one of my bookmarks since their exhibition at the Year end Yelp Event at the Pacific Aviation Museum. I couldn't stop thinking about the dark chocolate arare. I left happy with not only little gifts for Japan but my own personal box of mixed chocolate delicacies. I am not a chocolate person "per se" unless I find something (like these little menehune mac snacks) and the rest becomes tummy history. I will return 30/100 Yelp Review Challenge Los Angeles

Stumbled across this store by chance! We were walking through the area to meet a friend when the Menehune Mac sign called out to us. I remember this company from my kid days but haven't seen it around so imagine my surprise! We decided to stop in and we are so glad we did! In addition to their chocolate gift shop, they also offer tours (at 8am) as well as cookies and souvenirs. There are samples of almost all chocolate products. Gotta try their pineapple snow (white chocolate w/ hints of pineapple)...such a delicious combination! After 30 minutes or so, finally decided on a few things to bring back home. Service was friendly and welcoming. Prices are on-point. According to one of the workers, you will only find their products at Neiman Marcus or here. It was such a blast stopping in here, if you are in the area and have never been inside, I highly recommend it.

on certain days you can participate in making your own chocolates. Unfortunately the day that we went, they didn't have it. But we managed to sample some of their fine chocolates. Okay not some.. but we sampled all. They don't just hand you a chocolate, they have a box filled w/ chocolates where you can sample as many as you want! Milk, white, and dark chocolates! They also sell other things, like tea, jams, and other snacks. But if you like chocolates, this place is for you! the owners were cool, they told us to come back after driving around the area and sample some more!

Visited the factory with family from Toronto today. Neal sold me the best shortbread cookies ever.

Took family from Toronto to the factory, and I discovered the Kona coffee shortbread cookies!!!I devoured the entire package in a single sitting. The best cookies ever. My relatives are taking the delicious, delectable chocolate Mac nut candies to Toronto. They are also bringing with them the Aloha they received while visiting Neal at Menehune Mac.

Since the kids are on summer break, I'm always on the lookout for things to do to entertain them. For $10 (plus tax) per person, you can tour this chocolate factory. The tour includes all the samples you can possibly eat, plus a box of handmade chocolate mac candies that you make yourself. Each box comes with 6 chocolates. The tours are only offered on certain Saturdays so make sure you call ahead to reserve your spot. We all enjoyed the tour immensely. Menehune is family owned and the siblings running the place are so friendly. Neil, the company president, conducted the tour. He was very informative and funny. I wish I can remember the names of all the items we sampled, but all I can remember is that they were all very good. My favorite is the box of chocolates that we made. It will make for a very nice gift when my husband visits his sister on the mainland. This is a perfect place to bring friends or families visiting Oahu because the tour is informative and entertaining, and hey, it's all-you-can-eat chocolate samples! I also love that the chocolates they'll make during the tour can double as a souvenir that's inherently local. Both kids and adults will enjoy this tour. It's perfect for elderly family members that are not very active and can't handle strenuous activity since the tour is not that long and the place is air-conditioned.

The delicious cookie assortment. $6 each

This is an amazing place to come and purchase local chocolates! Located in the industrial area of waikaimilo, it's a bit out of the way if you're a tourist but worth the visit. Look for the red door through the gate for the entrance. I prefer receiving chocolates from here than anywhere else on the island. Actually a fantastic spot to pick up gifts for companies or family parties. Parking: there is almost always off the street parking in their small parking lot. I highly recommend the dark chocolate or Chocolate chip macadamia and cookies. They are small, crispy and delicious. If you are a tourist, I recommend going on their chocolate tour to see how they make the chocolate- call ahead of time to make arrangements.

Family owned business, sister at the register and the president of the company giving the tours. Granted it is a small factory but this guy knows his stuff. Very cool to meet someone that has a passion for what he does. You can tell that he takes great pride in the product that he puts out. As part of the tour you make your own little box of chocolates and it goes through the same process as the regular pieces. Very friendly staff and there's lots of samples to try.

reception dinner centerpiece -- delicious lilikoi cookie and macadamia nut chocolates. :)

Walking into this cherished Kalihi biz it's difficult to choose which one will it be with so many to choose from though I'm plain and simple the classic chichi dango is it for me as this pink and white delicately wrapped treat has been my personal favorite for years. Rarely been able to make it here in time as they do close early at 2pm and is best to call in to secure your treats the staff here is fantastic with putting it all together for you though not everything available is found in the display case though I couldn't resist a pre packed chichi dango after bringing a friend here to pick up her order. Especially during holidays and for special events call in your order to avoid long lines and disappointment as it does sell out fast as it's popularity peaks for events or just craving that unique flavor that they have here as this tiny shop does make our mochi cravings happy. I tried the butter mochi this past visit and it was good. It always amazes me the ladies who take your order and don't write it down and somehow get it right.
