I don't know what Hawaii does but the Icee is different on the mainland. It's more syrup than ice on the mainland. This is one of the spots on island I like to get Icee. This shop is located on the second floor across of Famous Footwear in Windward mall. The shop still has the jars from hanabada days. They have the kid flavors I grew up with (li hing mui) to all sorts of candy and treats such as freeze tried skittles, lemon peel mix ins, plum bear freeze, etc. Also one of the few candy shops that still sell li hing lollipops. Service has always been kind and helpful. read more

Best ICEE in Kaneohe, conveniently located in Windward Mall. Their prices also can't be beat! I got a full bowl of icee, ice cream, lemon peel, LH, and LH gummy bears for $7! It was big enough to share. They also have a wide selection of crack seeds and snacks. Always great customer service when I go. read more

Cravings 'n more... The saltiness is found here though it's all sour as well so be prepared for it all as Seeds 'n Things is a cute little nook in the upper level of Windward Mall that I try to avoid as it's filled with all the comfort snacks that we grew up loving though as it escalated to a more bougie level I try my best to avoid this sweet shop for good reasons. Not limited to gummy's and seeds but lots of snacks that are prepackaged for nice convenience but Icee as well...ahhhh that just brings back so much memories but now you can enjoy it as a float or add some li hing as well now that's how we do it here. The vibe here though is pretty calm and simple as I browsed around it can be pretty tight along with a few other shoppers but a great place to beat the heat and pick up some nostalgia. Thank you! read more

Every trip to Kaneohe requires a stop here. Every kind of cracked seed I enjoy can be found here. I even purchase online. Mahalo for many years of good snacks. read more

Cute little shop with a little nostalgia- crack seed store! It's neatly organized and I love the miniature jars filled with various lihing goodies. Wish I captured a picture. *next time I will* I ordered an iced float- cola... another nostalgia for me. The only let down was that it felt "light". The icee was a bit hallow - nothing like I remember. Anyway, I will return again when in the neighborhood :) read more

Seeds 'n Things - storefront with a woman standing in front of it - Candy Stores Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

I always passed by this little crack seed in the mall, but never went in until it was mentioned to me that this place had great gummi bears, seedless Li hing cherry, li hing guava seed and li hing guava. So, of course I had to go check it out for myself. I didn't try all, but the seedless li hing cherry is ono snackinglious and so is the lemon peel juicy mango bears! So ono! Well today, I tried the plum berry freeze and on a hot summer day, it hit the spot! It has everything you want in a summer treat, icee, ice cream, li hing everything and gummi bears! Omgeeeee! Go! And support the small local business, you won't be disappointed! just some things pricey but if good, it's worth it! read more

A sweet spot located on the second floor of Windward Mall. The crack seed selection is great, but we come here for the lemon peel gushers (juicy) and pickled mango. The latter is probably the best on the island and the pricing is not bad. Follow them on Instagram to find out when they have it in stock. Other favorites include the lemon peel and Icee. Customer service is also fantastic. Worth the drive (or the walk). read more

Seeds 'n Things - Pickled mango. Bomb. - Candy Stores Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

I'm not sure why I returned here after previous experiences but there I was. I'm a sucker for li hing mui especially when I'm at the mall. It seems that every single time I come to this store we are never greeted nor does anyone who works here ever have a smile on their faces. This past experience really turned me off once and for all and I swore I would never return here nor recommend this place to anyone I know. It seemed as though making a purchase was such a hassle for the worker. (I'm sorry for giving you any business.) We were watched like hawks as if anyone would steal any candies or seeds. Sorry but I'm better than that. This place is average with higher than average prices. You're better off going to wholesale where they at least appreciate your business. read more

My first time here. They're located in Windward Mall 2nd floor in the middle area. Brought a group of 8 including myself. I heard about their Icee with Li Hing Mui juice. They also had it in a powder form too. But I wanted the juice. There was Nalu and Lorene behind the counter greeting us. They were very patient and helpful filling us in on this hype. I ordered 7 Icee Strawberry and 1 Vanilla with Li Hing Mui Juice. And they had it out in a flash. Every one in the group loved it including myself. The Li Hing Mui juice can be strong so a little of it can go along way. It was a refreshing cool treat on a hot day. The hype is real, lol. Check it out next time your in Windward Mall, Mahalo! read more

The food service and ambience are on point here. We wanted to get some sour builts strawberry flavor and although this is plentiful on the mainland and in Hawaii, there's something special about these sour belts that keep us coming back. They're not the normal ones. You can get elsewhere and it's very hard to find but these ones taste really good so it's the only option we have. The people that work here are very nice and I'm happy to support this business read more

Great selection of seed candy and other candy you can hardly find at the big box stores. This past visit I tried the li hing lemon peel strawberry gummy bears, it was tasty. I also got those flake candies that reminds me of fireworks and my usual li hing plum candy. Ladies were nice and didn't make me feel uncomfortable while exploring the many sweets around. It's kind of small inside, luckily I was the only one in store aside from the workers behind the counter. read more

There is a pretty great selection of seeds, candies, and snacks here. With all the Lemon Peel Candies being such the craze nowadays, I'm happy to have seen that there is a huge selection here, of all different types of candies. I wasn't trying to go overboard, so I stuck with just two 12oz containers which came out to $25! A little pricy, I think, but I'm not sure what the going rate is with these candies elsewhere. All I know is that the two that I tried here were better than any of the other Lemon Peel Candies I've tried anywhere else. **I had the Haribo Gummy bear Li Hing Lemon Peel, and the Li Hing Lemon Peel Gushers** These are currently my faves... Anyway, great place to go to for local snacks, seeds, and candies. It's a little shop located on the 2nd floor of Windward Mall, but it is packed with a great variety. It is small, so they limit the number of people inside, and have the line to pay, just outside the door. I highly recommend Seeds `n Things for all your crackseed needs on the East Side. I even drive all the way from Pearl City to have their treats! read more

I usually go to the Kaimuki Crack Seed Center for my seed cravings but Seeds and Things is also a regular stop for since I frequent the farmer's market at the Windward Mall. I like their selections and the girls working there are so friendly. I always buy my favorite lemon peel #12B and was disappointed when went there last week and found out that they ran out. But I returned a week later and stocked up on it. The seeds are good and they are on the cheaper side. I don't buy from the seed store at Pearlridge because they are way too expensive and don't have much selection. read more

They have great snack pre packed. Variety items. Only thing they lack nice customer service. There's no smiles, no greetings. They make like everyone that walks in there is gonna steal something. That's the feeling they give off. read more

This snack shop is small in size, but big in happiness! Everything is arranged in an attractive yet organized fashion. The space is utilized well so that adults and keiki have a good view of all of the items. I like looking at those big glass jars that contain various types of see mui...I can remember my parents talking about how they used to get the crack seed in a brown paper bag. ... If you get a gift basket, a lei, or some other gift for someone, you'll surely make their day! Make it a point to also get something for yourself. ..your thoughtfulness should be acknowledged! read more

Seeds 'n Things - Looks yummy! Can't decide which ones to get! - Candy Stores Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

My kids enjoy coming here whenever we are at Windward mall. They have a good variety of snacks for the kids to chose from and can't go wrong with an icee! Only two starts because the man that is usually there as the cashier is very unfriendly and ruins the entire experience. read more

Gentleman that rung me up must've been having a bad day because I got no hello or smile as I walked up to purchase my items, not to mention that he was slamming boxes around when I was shopping. To make matters worse, he overcharged me. Another girl had to come and refund me, and when she apologized for him he looked at her and said nothing. read more

Large selection of snacks, goodies and more delicious food items. Only downside is the staff is constantly talking to each other. So all you get is hi, here's your total, bye. I wouldn't mind if you asked if I wanted other things (like one of their icees since the machines are behind them) or if they didn't ignore me when I tried to help them recall what their coworker said to them- how many boxes she took elsewhere, which I said was "Yeah she said 8 boxes with a smile" or even my receipt since they use an outdated cash register. They really need to update their POS system and maybe smile more to attract more customers. Then you wouldn't have to work so hard to get people to buy the stock so they're not stacked upon shelves collecting dust. Just a friendly tip. read more

Seeds 'n Things - Satisfying the craving for fruit & Li hing!!! - Candy Stores Near Me - Kaneohe, Hawaii

I really miss the Crack Seed store in Ala Moana, broke my heart when it finally had to close down. I walked by this craptastic store yesterday on my way out and wanted to get something for my dad. No greeting, the 2 girls behind the cash wrap too busy gossiping about random stuff. I picked up one item and went to the register and had to wait for a few minutes for one of the girls to finish shuffling her ipod to the perfect Iggy Azalea song and grace me with her presence -_- She couldn't even crack a smile. It's Windward mall so you know it super dead. Your job of ringing up people and curling ribbons for lollipops is not difficult so looking a little interested in your one customer shouldn't be hard. First and last time here. read more

A bit sour sweet mm its just delicious. Its our favorite candies gummies, gushers, and some nostalgic candies with Taiwanese dried fruits.

You know what is really good here??? The strawberry gummies with bits of lemon peel!!! There are so many people/ little companies that make this now but this place puts CHOKE lemon peel inside. Sooooo addicting! If you have time & on the Windward Side, try it out! read more

Every time I come to the mall I have to go to Seeds 'N Things. The Icees here are my favorite! Not airy like Icees from other places (their machine must be magic). Can't go wrong with any of their gummy snacks with (personal favorite is the li hing pineapple belts). read more

Good place to get your Li hing mui on. I always stop by to get some Li hing mui and a icee and whatever the keiki's want. Dad is always first. Really nice staff. Prices are comparable to rest of the crack seed stores on the island. I'm just really surprised that this store has been around for years and made it through the hard times. I think it's one of the originals from when the mall opened up. They even have little knick knacks. read more

Seeds 'n Things is my go to place for ICEE. When they see us walk up, they start getting the ICEE cups ready. Great memory or signs that I'm an ICEE addict? Seeds 'n Things is located at Windward Mall, 2nd level near Aeropostale. There is a lot of parking (lucky if you're in a mall). The store is open, as in no doors. The walls are lined with all kinds of Crack Seed items: shredded mango, li hing mui, salted seed, and so much more. There are a variety of candy that reminds me of when I used to eat all that stuff without gaining an ounce. (I wish for those days!) Lemon Drops, those little wax bottles with the flavored liquid inside, gummy colas... Soo good! But let's get to the ICEE! They have 3 sizes: small, medium, large. The cups are displayed on a ledge that is on the upper right of the register. There are usually 4 flavors for ICEE. I say usually because sometimes the machine can go down. My favorite is strawberry. Coca-cola, blue vanilla, and melon (?) are the other flavors (do NOT take this as gospel, I tend to order the same thing without taking note of what other options are there). I usually get the ice cream option (vanilla) for an extra charge. And recently, I have come to appreciate adding li hing powder to my frozen treat (also additional charge). FANTASTIC!!! You can get the liquid li hing squirted in there (additional charge), but I personally think it's too strong for my mouth. My ICEE creation is just the best for a hot day or just a treat! The service here is wonderful! The staff is always ready to grab your crack seed treats or serve your ICEE just the way you ask for it. Once, I was ordering for the whole family (5 of us) and trying to figure out how I was going to get all those cups home. No problem! The counter girls offered me a large ice cream bucket to take as my cup holders! Yay! No spillage in my car! So if you ever at Windward Mall and just want a cold treat or snack, please stop in & try them out! (40) read more

There aren't many crack seed stores around any more. This one is a SMALL shop in Windward Mall (2nd floor). Lots of dried and pickled items (and sweet things, too). The best place to get crack seed and all your local favorites! They have an icee machine that all the little kiddies (and adults) love! Everything is fresh and super tasty. Nice crack seed selection in the mall with bags of different sizes. Nice to be able to buy the easily concealable pocket packs or the large ones for the people you really like. I was in the areas after going around the island. Note I live in Ewa. We stopped by the mall to just stretch our legs & get some lunch so I went to this little store to get some corn puffs (4 bags) which my son loves. When we get home we opened one right away. I'm sorry but I came here not to bash or talk bad I just wanted to share my experience, for cotton candy and icee, I was waiting at the register and the staff was talking story and minding their own business, I made eye contact with them and they knew I was ready, so they came up and just rung me up for cotton candy and told me my total, not one asking me if that was all or making a small conversation like hi is that everything , NOPE, they kept talking to to each other and kept going their conversation, so I asked can I get an large strawberry icee, she wasn't paying attention and she said okay a coke icee, and I said no strawberry, and the other girl said here okay and they went back to their conversation not even acknowledgement or Anything. And payed and nothing she said okay , no thank you for coming or no consideration for the customers, it would've only taken a minute (if that) to do my order but instead it took literally 5 minutes to do a $6.00 Order for two things. I rather go somewhere else then here, customer service needs so work or choose another job I'm sorry, I'm customer service a huge thing is the customers not how good the sorry is with each other read more
