I still have the best memories of my 70-year-old dad (NOT a dancer), jumping up and down on the dance floor.

If you saw viral videos of this, and thought, "Oh man that looks fun."…read more Bingo. But you don't know that half of it. We went when my nephew was in town for Spring Break. I've been DYING to go back ever sense. I don't think I can even explain to you how addictive and all consuming the joy of playing these games are. Bonus, it's for sure a work out. If I lived closer I would would be at this joint two or three times a week, and in the best shape of my life. The games are all fast paced and high energy, but does it feel like a workout? Not at all, until you realize when you are so SHWEATY. It's like burst sprints mixed with body weights and maybe some yoga? I just know that I loved it in a way that I haven't loved physical activity since I was in my teens. The staff was all super friendly too. The perfect kind of friendly as well. Polite, informative, but not all fake high energy/chatty like your at a kids camp. It was nothing but good vibes. It was fairly busy when we went, which means we had to cycle through rooms pretty fast, but there are so many rooms! You can always go back for your favorites again later, and some of the ones that "looked" boring were actually the most fun for me. I was practically BEGGING them to give me a membership, but they don't do those... Yet? There was some discussion of some locations offering memberships as a trial run, and that it might become a thing nationwide. *fingers crossed* GO!

Loved the variety of room, didn't love the wait time that counted against your total time if you weren't in a room. Not sure how it would be possibly, but having your minutes tick away while you waited for the groups in front of you to finish with a room was irritating. Our family of five did have a boatload of fun though at 8, 11, 14 and 42. Lots of skills levels so it was good to be able to pick a variety of games. Note to anyone with shorter kids - maybe skip the basketball room as our 8 year old took a rebounding ball right to the face because he was the perfect height. Also, sometimes the rooms don't work. We wasted time in one room because it stopped working and we didn't know. It let us do two full rounds with literally nothing happening. They do fix them fairly quickly, but your time is gone already and you don't get it back ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ This would be great on a weekday where I assume the crowds are smaller. Would do again - we all came out sweaty and smiling.

I took my 11-year old son here as a fun day with dad, and we had a blast!…read more The staff was really nice, and they proactively offered the bundled pricing since we were buying 3 experiences. Not everyone wore name tags, so I can't call everyone out who helped us, but Joey, Clinton, and Brandon were all helpful! The manager was great to chat with, too! My son said, "I think the staff was really nice." Full disclosure: They gave him a free snack because it was his birthday. We were there for almost 4 hours, and we leisurely completed 3 activities, and we spent $142 in total for 2 of us: $57 Life Chronicles - This is a 45-minute immersive expedition that took us on a historical tour of the Earth, allowing us to be in the action from 3.5 billion years ago to 500 million years ago to 300 million years ago to 67 (yep...I got to hear THAT in VR) million years ago and then a few more until we made it home! The kid loved this, and this was his favorite. My son said, "I think it was cool that the machine guided us and kept us from running into walls. And, I think it's cool that the machine scans the walls and floors to know where you are...that was really cool." They said it lasted 45 minutes. $28 Space 3D Hologram Zoo - This is interesting...this one is AR (augmented reality), not VR. You walk along a holographic wall where we could see planets and space stations. There is 1 longer section, then 3 small sections. The longer section was really worthwhile to me. Even though it's not immersive, I still enjoyed the experience (it felt like the 3d-element worked better here). I even learned that Europa may have ice volcanos! My son said, "That was amazing, really cool, crazy cool. I liked that there was more than one projectors in the first room, so it looked like asteroids were really floating. I also liked the folding 3-D papers they gave out." $57 Space-Themed VR Escape Room - With only 2 of us in there, we didn't escape...ok, we only completed 56%. BUT, he chose it as a surprise to me! It was fun, but getting used to manipulating the environment without actually touching things was challenging. Plus, he's shorter, so there were parts he couldn't reach. This one had a technical problem that caused us to sit in the headgear for at least 15 minutes before they could get us going. My son said, "I really like that we could open and close our hands (and make them double-jointed) and that we could throw things." If you're on the fence, I thought this was much better than just going to play video games at one of the usual destinations.

Had really high hopes for this bc it really is an interesting concept. Booked a "zoo" tour and a…read moreroom as a family package for 2 kids (7 and 10) and 2 adults. The venue is built in the open warehouse-like area with short sectioned areas. So the arcade is one of the first things you see, then two of the VR games areas, with the rooms in the back and the zoo to the side. We opted to do the dinosaur zoo tour, which was actually pretty cool. Remember, this is a holographic concept so don't expect AI quality graphics. The zoo consists of you going through a walking circular maze which is divided into 3 sections. So after 1 section, you round the corner to the next and then have to wait for the screen to count down telling you to go into the next section (mainly so you don't interrupt the group in front of you). Wait times vary from 80 secs to 10 secs which weren't too bad. We definitely all agreed that we liked the dinosaur zoo. After, we had to wait about 8-10 min before we could get into our room bc the main guy was helping set up the VR people. So the kid sent us to the Photo Booth area which prompted you through multiple photo scenes and how to pose for them, as well as short video shots (think running away from T-Rex). Very cute photo concept and definitely a great opportunity to capture a fun photo. We of course stuck with the Dino theme for our photos but you had about 5-6 themes. Skip the private holographic room. It was only a half room and you have to swap glasses with each other to complete tasks. The kids were immediately bored with this and the experience wasn't great for the adults either. Before leaving, we opted to buy the kids some gaming credits. They offer a variety of options ($10=40 credits, $20=90, etc.) and the games vary in credit costs between 3-6 credits for arcade games and up to 8 credits for the claw games. Definitley more expensive than other local arcade places so would def skip this too. We didn't do the VR but I'm also glad we didn't. We (the adults) have done a VR experience (around the Domain) and they had theirs set up into sectioned off rooms for more privacy. Zoocade's VR rooms are out in the open and feel less private. I imagine they can definitely get distracting with all the noise from the zoo tour videos and the arcade area. Spending over $150 for this experience was not worth it and was more disappointing than exciting. If you're going to try it out, then I'd recommend only doing the zoo portion (dinosaur or under the sea). Really, really wanted to like this place but unfortunately, it didn't live up to our kids, or our expectations.

The next 15 minutes were spent looking for a parking place in the garage. I ended up parking at the very top and taking the elevator down. There were several other older ladies as well there who don't quite move quickly. By the time we walked to the door of the Long Center it was 3 minutes after the start of a 90-minute opera. I raced to get to my seat but was escorted to the upper balcony. As I entered there was a lady bandaging her leg on the stairs. From falling there. When I got to the upper balcony it was pitch dark and the helper had a flashlight that didn't work. It took me a while for my eyes to adjust and finally was able to be seated, slightly short of breath from the race and the altitude of those seats. Other nicely dressed older ladies came in after me and stumbled around to find seats. We were informed we would have to sit there for the duration as there was no intermission for a 90 minute performance. Why? I ask you why? Along with a canteen of water, a flashlight and a first aid kit do I need to bring a catheter to the Opera? This is ridiculous. I am pretty ticked off and will not attend again until something is done to remedy the deeply flawed, user-unfriendly experience I had. Navigating in the dark for a 76-year-old is not something that is a healthy activity. You do realize a lot of your audience are seniors, don't you? You do realize that you all probably go to the valet or VIP parking I passed at the one minute marker entrance to the parking lot and then go to your box seats? You're not experiencing what other people are experiencing and I'm afraid you've lost track. I hope you will do something to remedy.

It's always clean and the people working there are so nice and it makes a difference in the whole vibe of the place. They have a good drinks menu and food too. Service is easy and convenient. You can push a button if you need something or just order from your phone without missing anything. The lobby is also a nice place to hang out before or after your movie with a full bar, a pool table, and plenty of family games to play. Prices are pretty comparable to other theaters of the kind, so it doesn't feel like a big splurge. Just a really enjoyable spot for a movie night.

I could not use my phone to scan the QR code to order the coffee because it was dark. I pressed the button and waited forever for someone to come and take my order. Then my friend arrived and went through the exact same thing. Even when I did finally get a menu on my phone, it was overcomplicated to order. Seems like something that should be easy by now. Considering the number of other theaters that do in seat ordering. I'd go back and perhaps have a better time now that I know the lay the land.

You can see everything from the outside, and I'll be honest, I felt a little awkward knowing people could watch us. Once inside, I noticed several couples dancing with different instructors and had a moment of nervousness, wondering if there would be enough space for us. Then we met our instructor, Johnny, and all of that disappeared. He is an absolute delight. From the start, he made us feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease. I quickly forgot about the windows and the other dancers. We had plenty of room, and that's entirely thanks to how Johnny guided the lesson. Even though we were doing a shorter intro session, he managed to teach us all the basics to the song we chose. Somehow, it felt incredibly intimate and personal, even in such a large, open space. We had so much fun that we've decided to continue our lessons. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for an inclusive, welcoming place with truly wonderful instructors.

The employee who confronted them handled the situation in a very aggressive and unnecessary way. As an A-List member, I've never been questioned or harassed like this at the front concession stand. It felt like the situation was blown completely out of proportion. Instead of focusing on real issues, my family members were put in an uncomfortable and embarrassing position over tickets that were legitimately purchased. They did speak with the manager, Miguel, who was polite and tried to help, and I appreciate that. However, the situation still wasn't fully resolved and the tickets were not refunded despite the negative experience. AMC needs to make sure employees understand that tickets purchased through an account can be shared with friends or family.
