It never fails. Time after time. I bring family or friends; and we all love our meals! Cochinita Pibil, Carnitas and Mr Peanut. Delicious!

Come here for some amazing authentic comfort food. We all left with big smiles and happy memories. Service: so friendly and so welcoming. The chef, Memo, came out and talked to us. He told us how Memo's came about. He is from the Bay Area and was a chef for high end restaurants in Palo Alto and Menlo Park. Brought it right here in this cute little community called Isleton. Nice touches such as they roast their own coffee, highly filtrated water system, European cooking techniques which create the outstanding flavors. The whole place is so clean and cozy. We will definitely be back and it's worth the 1 hour drive it took us to get here.

A hidden gem in Isleton that I found on my way home from Sac., and I'm truly glad I made the pit stop. Service was great and food was even better! Plus everything was made in house. I tried the Chile con Queso, a very different version of a typical Chile relleno. This grilled Pasilla pepper was filled w/mozzarella cheese & mashed potatoes, served w/chunky salsa ranchera. It was tasty but I still prefer the standard chile relleno. I took the cilantro rice and black beans to go. The next day I made a burrito and it was good. The dessert, Queso Napolitano was to die for! It was rich & creamy w/caramel and topped with strawberry jam. Mirles, the pastry chef confirmed she made the flan like cheesecake with the homemade strawberry jam. A must try dessert!

Tilapia ceviche (Caribbean style with pineapple & mango) was fantastic and the service was very, very good. The sangria is also quite tasty! I could see the place being very good for an elevated casual date night in the area.

I can't believe we waited so long to try this new spot in Isleton! The resraurant is small but the vibe is spot on and makes you feel comfortable. Hannah was our server and she was so sweet and very helpful with any questions we had about the menu. 10/10 service! Memo even came up to our table to introduce himself and ask us how we were doing. Everything we ordered was amazing! Possibly the best carnitas ive ever had. We will definitely be coming back to try everything else on the menu.

Soft opening 10/19/25 - Party of 3 @ 11:30a We were welcomed by owners and staff by the entrance along with samples of both shrimp ceviche & mini street tacos. They offered limited menu for soft opening. We ordered a few mini street tacos which came with mild roasted tomatillo cilantro & spicy roasted tomatoes habanero (on point!). We're definitely looking forward to trying the full menu after Wednesday, 10/22/25.

Everybody you have got to rum not walk to this little Isleton treasure!!! Everything is made fresh, cooked the old ways and the menu is so diverse with a Latin flair. Everything is made in house including coffee and patties!!!!!!! Ambiance is so nice like going to your good friend's house. Comfortably arranged & airy. So refreshing!

Three of us had lunch at this restaurant today and found it a delightful experience. One of us had the vegan skewers, one had a shrimp dish, and the third had street tacos. We got shrimp ceviche for the table and lovely Prosecco to drink. The service was superb and the atmosphere is delightful.

Girlfriend had the same as me. It was so much fun.

The food was truly amazing. The service was excellent. And the ambience was beautiful. I haven't been to a dinner like that in a long, long time. Just goes to show you that there's still places that care about their guest. I worked at a fine dining restaurant for years and I recommend this place highly. Thank you so much for the experience. You exceeded my expectations.

Carnitas burrito and street tacos! Burrito was delicious and not dry!

Exceptional customer service and a truly delightful experience! The food was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor--absolutely delicious. The space feels wonderfully cozy, with thoughtful design and charming decorations that make you want to linger. Don't be fooled by the exterior; this spot is a hidden gem worth discovering! Be sure to save room for their outstanding desserts--they're not to be missed. My husband loved his coffee, and our friendly server, Hanna, went above and beyond by showing us the actual coffee beans sourced from Chiapas, Mexico (known for their smooth, nutty notes with hints of chocolate--such a nice touch!). Highly recommend this place for a relaxing, tasty meal. We'll definitely be back!

    Carnitas burrito

Awesome fat burritos featuring scratch made meats and salsas. Extremely high end quality, but reasonably priced. No low-end fillings. Staff and owner super friendly. Owner was explaining to us how he makes this special "tomatillo rice" for the burritos. Sweet espresso machine. All in all a great food experience. :) I used to spend 1970's and 1980's summers on my dad's sailboat tied up to the trees along steamboat slough near here, which was a HUGE scene at that time,,,tons of liveaboard boaters. And we'd sometimes drive here to isleton for gas. Ice. Food. Etc. It's nice to see this 19th century historic town revitalized now as a vibrant restaurant scene. So cool! I want to try the ceviche upon my next visit to Memo's.

    Service was excellent!

The food was amazing! Fresh, seasoned very well, and nice portions! They have a full bar and Margaritas are out of the world! Customer service was excellent, catered to our every need. Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend!

They were ending their pasta dishes from now on. Totally bites. I love their pastas . That is what it made the place more than a regular bar. Really miss them steamed clams... The place has a great selection of drinks and plenty of beers on tap, perfect after a long day of exploring ! We ordered the combination pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, loaded with toppings, and way bigger than we expected for the price. No way we could finish it in one sitting. We also had our little one with us, who was pretty wiped out from the day and got a bit fussy. Huge shoutout to our waitress, she noticed right away and went above and beyond to make her (and us) comfortable. It honestly made the whole experience even better and made us feel welcome instead of stressed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd gladly stop by for a cold brew and another great pizza. He is very friendly, patient, and accommodating! He showed us around, answered all our questions, and even gave us complimentary drinks. This was the most thorough and fun we had at a wedding tour venue~ Setting: The mansion is pretty old, but it definitely has a certain charm to it! It's very European-French themed imo and they have really nice ceremony sites for weddings! We didn't have a reservation for the buffet, but we asked if they could accommodate us, and they were able to squeeze us in (lucky us). The buffet costs $80 per person, which is definitely on the expensive side, but personally, I think it's more worth it than paying for the Cosmo buffet in Vegas. You can drink as much alcohol as you want, and they serve steak, pasta, French toast, eggs Benedict, vegetables, salad, and have their own dessert bar. For a buffet, we actually thought the food was pretty good compared to other buffets we went to that had similar pricing! The steak and chicken were just okay, but the dishes that really stood out to us were the French toast, salad, truffle mushroom crepes, and pasta. The rest were decent. This place is quite far from the Bay Area--it took us about 1 hour and 40 minutes each way. If you're coming here for brunch, I highly recommend making a reservation beforehand because they can get pretty packed and I think they required reservation ahead of time. The wedding tour and brunch together took us about 4 hours. Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend checking this place out especially if you're doing a wedding tour :)

It reminded me of the fancy brunch buffets my very formal grandparents would take me to as a child. I appreciated the variety of food available, and the prime rib carving station was a nice touch. The desserts were fun--small enough to be able to sample a variety. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Wish I could give it 4.5 stars.

Most importantly, if they can't remember every detail of an order by trying to memorize it, have them write it down!! Period. This is a skill not everyone possesses. We will definitely be back as the food was pretty good. But I hate spending $120 for dinner in basically a sports bar, get mediocre Service and they expect a 20% tip. (Which I still gave) This was just a few of the things we dealt with. It wasn't really crowded so do like other restaurants. It's in Lodi in the cuts, and has this woodsy type of feel to it, serene almost too. The grounds were done really nice, and had tons of space too, very scenic. They've got a few different places on the grounds to eat at, and a huge spa which is my guess the main reason people come to stay here. The spa was very nice and a cool cool experience. The rooms are nice, just a tad odd how close they are to a residential sub division nearby where you can see into peoples yards and whatnot, that part threw me off a bit, kind of takes away from the privacy a bit. That's probably the only thing I would change from this. I would return 100% here.

Tonight, we returned for another birthday, but the experience was nothing like before. We arrived at 6:10 PM for our 6:15 reservation. Upon entering, the hostess walked right past us with another party, without so much as a "I'll be right with you." Another employee eventually asked if we'd been helped; when we said no, she said she'd find someone. We were finally seated, and our server, Monica, was the bright spot--attentive, friendly, and kept us updated on our food. That food, however, took nearly an hour to arrive, and we watched several tables who were seated after us receive their meals first. When our dishes did come, they arrived in stages--the succotash and salmon first, then the pork chop and gnudi about seven minutes later. Worse, nearly everything was cold and overdone. Pork chop: Unevenly cooked--some parts dry and overcooked, others undercooked. The potato purée was gummy and overworked, though well-seasoned. Salmon: Overcooked and bland; I had to ask for salt and pepper just to add flavor. The corn velouté underneath was unpleasant--the corn kernels were dried out and rock-hard (I circled the pieces I had to spit out in the photo). The beans were burnt, not charred, and tasted bitter and inedible. The succotash was flavorless and had 1/2 cherry tomato poorly executed. Gnudi: The lobster was chewy and overcooked, and the dish was dry--it desperately needed a sauce and a bright note like lemon to bring it together. The only course that delivered was dessert. For the price, the quality was disappointing across the board. Needless to say, we'll be looking for a new spot for our future celebrations.
