    Verde plate.

This restaurant is in Vieras campground in Isleton. It was dead both times we went in there. I hope we just hit their less busy time and people are visiting this place as it is very convenient for campers. Our waitress was very sweet. Since it was so quiet I was very glad to see their salsa bar had limited amounts and kept in ice to keep things fresh. My husband ordered a breakfast burrito and coffee for $10.00 the morning we were leaving. He said the burrito was very good and the coffee was decent, as well The night before we had dinner and my husband and I had different opinions on our meal. He had verde plate and said it was really good. I had the all meat burrito. I would have really like it except it had big chunks of fat. That grossed me out. It also had that real orange/red grease on either end of the burrito. Otherwise, the flavor was really good and not too salty.

Chile Verde Super Burrito - HUGE

Food 10, Service 10, Staff 10, Portions 10. My new go to in Isleton! Burrito was HUGE and yummy!

Located at Viera's Resort, Taqueria Mexico is my go to breakfast spot on the weekends. Additionally the Mexican food for dinner never disappoints. Service is warm and friendly.

Carnitas dinner was perfect. Carne asada nachos could have had a pico, but the guacamole was excellent.

Stopped on our way home from Sacramento & had dinner. Our selections were excellent and served with a smile. Will stop in again.

The flavors that were in there were made from pure love. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking, where she began cooking dinner right after we had lunch and all of the love she put into her dinners. The portions were very generous and there was enough that we had left overs that we ate for dinner. Fat Lou's, you have a customer for life, and I am spreading the word to anyone who is looking for "true" mexican food. I am so glad you are a quick drive out to the delta to eat your food. Next time we will have to try your breakfast offerings. Great job Lou, you have a fabulous restaurant!

A few patio tables and about 4 tables inside. Customer Service Water never refilled. It was not busy. Chile Verde and chile relleno plate. Chile verde ok very small portion. Chile relleno very good. Food was cold except the relleno, asked to be reheated not acceptable. BBQ Plate Baby back ribs were not fall off the bone tender but had good flavor. Chicken juicy and tender, very good. I was impressed with the macaroni salad. Potato salad ok. Dish was served hot. Dishes priced on the upper end. I am sure rent on the River Road is high.

Today was an Orozco day!!! I wanted to try new menu items. I ordered Carne Asada Burrito, Pollo Sope, and Puerco Tamale. As I placed to bag of to go items on the seat next to me I could smell grill onions, grilled meat, and beans. The aroma coming from the bag smelled wonderful!!!! I made myself a sample platter of Pollo Sope, Puerco Tamale, and Carne Asada Burrito. Pollo Sope: Seasoned to perfection grilled chicken, whole pinto beans, lettuce, crema, on a crispy corn tortilla base. This was delicious!!! Puerco Tamale: Shredded pork cooked in a red chili sauce. Not spicy. Seasoned just right. The outside (Masa) was light, there was definitely plenty of meat in this tamale!!!!!! Carne Asada Burrito: Grilled beef, pinto beans, rice, sour cream, salsa. This burrito is huge filled with all delicious foods!!! This is my new favorite burrito!!!! I love that they give grilled onions, jalapeño, radish, lemon, and salsas!!! It adds to the meal!!!! I highly recommend Orozco's!!!!! Give them a try!!!!!!

There is plenty of seating next to the trailer but I assume on busy days parking can be a challenge. I tried 3 carne asada tacos at $2.50 each (Cash Only). Tacos were tasty and salsa wasn't too spicy. Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance of eating outside with the Delta breeze flowing through the air is enough reason to stop and check this place out. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am-6pm with extended hours during seasonal months. I will definitely be back!
