The flavors that were in there were made from pure love. It reminded me of my grandmother's cooking, where she began cooking dinner right after we had lunch and all of the love she put into her dinners. The portions were very generous and there was enough that we had left overs that we ate for dinner. Fat Lou's, you have a customer for life, and I am spreading the word to anyone who is looking for "true" mexican food. I am so glad you are a quick drive out to the delta to eat your food. When I went to pay I realized why everything was tough and dry- the male chef in the back was microwaving the dishes before setting them out to be served. Tacos were tasty and salsa wasn't too spicy. Service was friendly and fast. The ambiance of eating outside with the Delta breeze flowing through the air is enough reason to stop and check this place out. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 9:30am-6pm with extended hours during seasonal months. I will definitely be back!
