Everything tasted homemade and comforting, like the kind of meal that's been passed down and perfected over time. The plates are generous and full of flavor. We even ended up buying a jar of their salsa and jalapeños to take home because it was that good. What really made this visit special though was the people. The owner's grandson was so sweet and helpful, and getting to meet the owner and his family made it feel more like being welcomed in than just dining out.
