Buddy and I ordered a vegetarian taco bowl and menudo, and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. My menudo came with a glass bowl (thank you for NOT using plastic) of diced white onion, chilis, two limes, and oregano. It was, hands-down, the tastiest menudo I had had in years. I was in Isleton one day around 930am and was hungry. Instead of going to a cafe I seek this off the Main Street and thought to myself some Mexican food sounds good. Walking into the place it looks small but there is a decent amount of seating inside. The owners were welcoming and super nice. They took my order. The food did take a little while but it was fresh so I can't complain. My favorite part about the dish was the rice, it was so FIRE. Everything else was average. Not sure why this place isn't a 5 star rating.... They hit EVERY single point on being great! I was born and raised in the Bay Area, so I'm pretty knowledgeable about great Mexican food! I didn't have high hopes for this place because of the rating, and being attached to a store.... Man was I SOOOO wrong!! BEST carne asada burrito I have EVER had! Ordered breakfast on door dash then spent 40 minutes outside waiting (past 8:30 which is their open time). The door was open so I walked in and asked if they were closed because the lights were off. The lady behind the counter mumbled something and I assumed that it was just a bad morning so I waited outside in 38° weather. I finally gave up and walked back inside to ask what was taking so long to which I found out apparently they were closed.. But still taking door dash orders. Needless to say, if you're going to have posted hours, the door unlocked, and the ability to receive door dash orders still turned on you should probably make it well known the business is closed and turn off the receiving orders. As someone who has lived an Isleton for a 2 years and SoCal their whole life this place is absolutely horrible. They fill their items with rice and beans and charge you an arm and leg for them. The fact I paid 15$ for a burrito of this size without the rice and beans shows they don't care and only want your money. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

I have been here a few times and each time it's better and better. From breakfast burritos to full plates, I am always impressed. TBH one doesn't expect much from a taco shop connected to the only liquor store in town, especially in a teeny town like Isleton. No hate to Isleton!! I wish I still lived there!! But keeping it real, it's a small town without a public gas station and if you want to go to a real supermarket you have to go to Rio Vista. But let Isleton surprise you with the two coffee shops, Mei Wah beer room, and Manny's Brasserie. Back on track- Taqueria Mi Rancho hits many points of satisfaction for me. Easy access (Right on the 160 and lots of street parking nearby for trucks with boat trailers), affordable ($12 for 4 big tacos including chips and various salsas), AND most importantly...mouthwatering tender steak, great flavor, and fresh toppings Service appears to be family owned and the girls are nice. Nestled next to a convenience store, this restaurant might be small but the food packs a punch! Very clean with a few tables to eat in or you can take out. Nice and attentive cashier. I ordered the quesabirria tacos with consume and added beans, rice and a drink. All under $20 including tip. Tacos were very tasty and hefty. Rice was cold but still tasted pretty good. I don't normally like beans but these were good with melts cheese. The consume was flavorful. They also had a salsa bar. I tried the green salsa which was also tasty. I came home raving about the tacos. So I'll be bringing the fam over to try it out soon. If you're ever in the Delta look them up, you won't regret it. read more

I asked for a wet burrito and Jamaica and she gave me a regular burrito and the wrong drink. I would be more mad if the food was bad but it's honestly pretty good. I was craving a wet burrito though :( she was also pretty rude to me and looked at me like if I was stupid so I feel like it was on purpose. read more

Accidentally stopped here, but the reviews were good so we decided to give it a try. My wife ordered something and the staff said they were out of the sauce that goes on that. So as she was thinking about an alternative, I ordered my usual, a chile relleno, which they said they were out of, too. So we left. Won't be going back. If you don't have something, take it off the menu or order more stock. It shouldn't be that two random orders cannot be filled in a restaurant. That's poor operation. read more

**Causes diarrhea!** I've eaten there often enough to confirm that it happens every time when I had a burrito there. The burrito also tastes stale, and you need to add a lot of salsa to make it palatable. However, they now only provide one cup of salsa per burrito and no extra for chips. And I am just getting tiered of begging for salsa cups. That's it for me. read more

Stopped here on our way to... "Somewhere". Looked nice and fresh and clean so we took a chance on a chili relleno as the prior customer ordered one. Good choice. Very fresh, clean and tasty with a mild but nice red sauce. The beans were home made and chunky instead of smoothe or runny. Good idea to add the available hot sauces if you want it hotter. The crispy beef tacos were also fresh and good quality. Rice is just rice so no comment required. Some locals were eating there which is usually a good sign. I believe most anyone would enjoy their food, although a smallish menu. The sales "ladies" and cook were pleasant and I complimented the cook on the relleno. Been here several times. All the food items I've tried so hard have been good. I especially like their Al pastor and carne asada. The salsa is just all right though. Avoid the sour cream one. It's... not good. Service is just okay. Efficient but unfriendly and maybe a bit judgy. read more
