I travel all the way down here in a 30 minute ride to eat here. This place was an amazing locations. A true hidden gem down in the Delta. I have been coming here for a long time now. I slowly noticed that they were cutting some on my favorite dishes. I guess they are not able to keep the nice menu they used to have. I just got an email with a letter to all of us. They were ending their pasta dishes from now on. Totally bites. I love their pastas . That is what it made the place more than a regular bar. Really miss them steamed clams... Now they want to specialize in just pizza and burgers. Well I love their Tuscan pizza but I am not sure I will travel all the way down there just for pizza. It's totally a bummer. It's been about 2 years since my last review so I thought I'd give an update. We actually really enjoy going here for the pizza. It's wood fired and delicious. Since my first review I've ordered the prosciutto pizza again and it was perfect. Today my daughter and I went in for a quick lunch and we shared the Tuscan personal pizza and the carpaccio. My daughter had never had steak carpaccio before but she loved it. It was so good! Our pizza was the highlight for sure. We're gonna be sad when this place sells. Service is sometimes a little slow but we come here to enjoy ourselves so that's not a huge deal breaker for us. read more

Decent amount of seating with a bar. The bathrooms were really nice. The service was good. It appeared they only had one server so she was running around helping everyone as it was the lunch rush. The food is good we got garlic fries which had a nice crisp, fried calamari, and two pizzas. The crust was my favorite it was thin but not like a cracker so it had a good chew to it. I finally stopped on my way home and liked the old brick building with a beautiful bar and a cool outside patio. The Arnold Palmer was good and refreshing on a sunny day. Beware of the spicy Caesar salad dressing. I sniffled away but it was tasty with the yummy house croutons. The personal size Margherita pizza had a thin crust but it was not crispy like I prefer it. My husband heard about this place from a friend and wanted to try it. It is quite far from where we live. But it is worth the drive. We have come here a few times after our first try. The food is pretty consistently good. I really like their Tuscan pizza and their Lasagna! Great flavor in both dishes. I think the Tuscan pizza is a must try. We have tried their clams and cheese bread. They were also, good. The spaghetti and meatballs were good. So far everything that we tried has been excellent. Most of the staff are nice and helpful. The last time we went the place was on the stuffy side. I'm not sure, but I think their A/C wasn't working to well. I was very hot. I was sweating just sitting there. We stumbled upon Manny's Barzzeria after visiting the railroad museum just up the road on Highway 12, and I'm glad we did. The place has a great selection of drinks and plenty of beers on tap, perfect after a long day of exploring ! We ordered the combination pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, loaded with toppings, and way bigger than we expected for the price. No way we could finish it in one sitting. We also had our little one with us, who was pretty wiped out from the day and got a bit fussy. Huge shoutout to our waitress, she noticed right away and went above and beyond to make her (and us) comfortable. It honestly made the whole experience even better and made us feel welcome instead of stressed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd gladly stop by for a cold brew and another great pizza. I really enjoyed my last visit to Manny Barzzeria. It has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and good hearty food. It's located in a old brick building in downtown Isleton with penty of street parking out front. There's a nice shaded outdoor dining area, where you can enjoy those cool delta breezes while eating an evening meal. The interior of the restaurant is equally appealing with lots of comfortable seating and long wood bar with big screens behind it. I ordered a beer, fries, and burger which was a bit on the expensive side at $25.56. However, the beer was cold, and the food was good. The fries were hot and crispy and the restaurant has a great ranch sauce for dipping. The burger was hearty, was served on nicely toasted bun, and included fresh crunchy tomato, onion, and lettuce. They even served a crisp pickle spear on the side. Overall it was a good visit. read more

What a gem ! We were driving by and needed to use a bathroom. My husband ran in and loved what he saw! He text me "Babe, come inside, we're staying for a beer ." The waiter was so kind and knew the other customers by name. "Your usual Ben?!" The waiter slipped a menu on our table with no pressure to order. The menu was beautiful! We ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza and wings. DELICIOUS ! We got the shrimp and pesto on one side and a meat combo on the other. You know the pizza is good when the crust is gone! YUMMMM!! The smell of fresh pizza upon entry let us know this was gonna be really good lol Our server was a bit slammed because he was by himself but he was so gracious and so nice to us. Perfect! Good pizza, good drinks, good service. We walked over here one night hoping for a good dinner and good pizza. Being in Isleton for a couple months and having Pizza Factory in Rio Vista or Walnut Grove are okay options but not amazing, whereas Manny's gets high marks! We were especially hungry this evening so we got calamari ($14) to share; I got my own little pizza "Panopoulos" (pineapple, bacon, Canadian bacon, hot honey $16) and Paul got a calzone (I can't remember which). The calamari came out with light and crispy batter, not oily, and fresh tasting. For $2 more I added jalapeno. Maybe not worth $2 but if it didn't have it, I dont think I would have liked it as much as did. The spicy-ness was much appreciate between bites- mixing it up a little. My pizza was excellent- you can really tell they care a lot about the quality of the food here. You can tell they make their own crust and fire it themselves. The pork was high quality, though personally I would've done without the hot honey (too sweet, not enough heat for me!) Paul devoured the calzone so he must have liked it as well :). The staff is great and the owner has given the staff a huge chunk of time off for the holidays as well, make sure you check before going in! Love that for the service industry. Visiting from out of town we waited until the weekend to come to Manny's so that my husband could order the linguine and clams. According to the menu, they only serve it on the weekend. To our disappointment they did not have any. We also ordered a margarita that were never served. The last disappointment was that they were all out of Key-lime Cheesecake. I tried this place for the first time, based on a recommendation from another restaurant operator. It was a Tuesday night, around 7 p.m. The Food was good, I tried a pizza, a cup of their Italian Wedding soup, not very hot, the meatball was actually cool to the taste. I ordered a small Margherita Pizza, it was also good. I didn't care for the cherry tomatoes, Chefs choice. The fresh Basil and sauce on point. Maybe some more mozzarella. I tried their Asparagus appi, it was a special of the day, exceptional, excellent asparagus dipped and fried to perfection, also plated nicely. The chef did not overcook or undercook, perfect. The overall menu is simple yet has good selections. Service was at best average, I understand the ability to hire, train and retain staff, so I was not too harsh. Just a little more on training on being a bartender and serving at the bar. She was very pleasant and helpful, seemed new and a little nervous. Great impression on uniform and attitude. Which is a plus. The dining room server was definitely a lot more trained and experienced, as I overheard and observed her with her guests. Actually that's how I heard about the Asparagus appetizer. She recommended it to her guests. The Restaurants ambiance very cool, I did not notice the patio/outside seating. It is very well setup and very clean. I'm definitely going to sit outside next visit. Bathrooms were nicely done, very clean. The main dining room is done nicely, for a Pizzeria and Bar, very nice. I will return and try again soon.
