We stumbled upon Manny's Barzzeria after visiting the railroad museum just up the road on Highway 12, and I'm glad we did. The place has a great selection of drinks and plenty of beers on tap, perfect after a long day of exploring ! We ordered the combination pizza, and it did not disappoint. It was delicious, loaded with toppings, and way bigger than we expected for the price. No way we could finish it in one sitting. We also had our little one with us, who was pretty wiped out from the day and got a bit fussy. Huge shoutout to our waitress, she noticed right away and went above and beyond to make her (and us) comfortable. It honestly made the whole experience even better and made us feel welcome instead of stressed. If I'm ever in the area again, I'd gladly stop by for a cold brew and another great pizza. Manny's is definitely worth a visit.

Decent amount of seating with a bar. The bathrooms were really nice. The service was good. It appeared they only had one server so she was running around helping everyone as it was the lunch rush. The food is good we got garlic fries which had a nice crisp, fried calamari, and two pizzas. The crust was my favorite it was thin but not like a cracker so it had a good chew to it. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

The amount of prosciutto on the pizza. its a $25 pizza, i just would have expected more.

It's been about 2 years since my last review so I thought I'd give an update. We actually really enjoy going here for the pizza. It's wood fired and delicious. Since my first review I've ordered the prosciutto pizza again and it was perfect. Today my daughter and I went in for a quick lunch and we shared the Tuscan personal pizza and the carpaccio. My daughter had never had steak carpaccio before but she loved it. It was so good! Our pizza was the highlight for sure. We're gonna be sad when this place sells. Service is sometimes a little slow but we come here to enjoy ourselves so that's not a huge deal breaker for us.

    Nice display inside.

The best pizzas ever!! We had the Panopoulos and the Tuscan pizzas, and they were amazing! Loved the calamari and the wedge salad too. The blood orange Hefeweizen really hits the spot. The service was great and the patio was a nice place to eat on a sunny day.

I finally stopped on my way home and liked the old brick building with a beautiful bar and a cool outside patio. The Arnold Palmer was good and refreshing on a sunny day. Beware of the spicy Caesar salad dressing. I sniffled away but it was tasty with the yummy house croutons. The personal size Margherita pizza had a thin crust but it was not crispy like I prefer it. I did not have any room for their abundant dessert menu so I will need to stop by again before this rustic eatery moves to the North Bay.

I really enjoyed my last visit to Manny Barzzeria. It has a great atmosphere, excellent service, and good hearty food. It's located in a old brick building in downtown Isleton with penty of street parking out front. There's a nice shaded outdoor dining area, where you can enjoy those cool delta breezes while eating an evening meal. The interior of the restaurant is equally appealing with lots of comfortable seating and long wood bar with big screens behind it. I ordered a beer, fries, and burger which was a bit on the expensive side at $25.56. However, the beer was cold, and the food was good. The fries were hot and crispy and the restaurant has a great ranch sauce for dipping. The burger was hearty, was served on nicely toasted bun, and included fresh crunchy tomato, onion, and lettuce. They even served a crisp pickle spear on the side. Overall it was a good visit.

So disappointed! Burnt and no cheese and barely any salami. Try to support small business but this is ridiculous!

Pizza so burnt and no cheese or salami. I'll never order again. Try to support small business but can't eat burnt food.

This place has "just the right" of everything, great atmosphere (especially on the outside patio) great service and most of all a chef who knows how to make awesome dishes for everyone's taste. Casual to fancy, everyone will be pleased.

What a gem ! We were driving by and needed to use a bathroom. My husband ran in and loved what he saw! He text me "Babe, come inside, we're staying for a beer ." The waiter was so kind and knew the other customers by name. "Your usual Ben?!" The waiter slipped a menu on our table with no pressure to order. The menu was beautiful! We ordered a 1/2 & 1/2 pizza and wings. DELICIOUS ! We got the shrimp and pesto on one side and a meat combo on the other. You know the pizza is good when the crust is gone! YUMMMM!! The wings were buffalo style. They were not breaded and the Franks was elevated. I'm already excited to go back! They do have outside seating, but it was cold so we sat inside. We paid with a credit card. They had a large selection of alcohols and beer on tap. Pricing: We paid $60 (with tip) for our pizza, wings, 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine.

If you're on the river road between Sacramento and Antioch and you're hungry, stop here! Very good spot for some pizza and dessert! Service was nice and attentive. Would recommend and go again :)

Still top-notch food. Great quality and flavor. The family and I shared a large pizza, wedge salads, chicken wings. And garlic French bread. Everything was yummy. Comfortable out door area to enjoy your food. Give them a try. You will be glad you did! Bon appetit

Just enjoy spice and it's very flavorful. Definitely pre order again. Bbq oysters were great, the sauce they put in top is fantastic. Sesame chicken was the right amount of sweet and sesame. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. We chose to sit inside, and the indoor space is beautifully done with vaulted wood ceilings, exposed beams, warm lighting, and comfortable cushioned seating that makes it easy to settle in. The chairs were genuinely comfortable, which is not always a given. From what we could see, the outdoor seating looks equally inviting, especially with the string lights, open views, and waterfront setting. I can imagine it being especially nice at sunset or on a warm evening. We started with potstickers that tasted homemade and were excellent. They came out hot with a flavorful dipping sauce and disappeared quickly. For drinks, my partner ordered a lemon drop that was bright and well balanced. I asked for a whiskey sour, which wasn't on the menu, but they were happy to make one for me. It was decent, though not as memorable as the lemon drop. For dinner, we ordered General Tso's chicken, snow pea chicken, and rice. Both dishes were outstanding. The General Tso's sauce was perfectly executed, flavorful without being overly sweet, and the chicken was tender with a crisp coating. Even the broccoli was cooked just right, still slightly crunchy but fully done. The snow pea chicken had a lighter, savory sauce and was equally well prepared. Service was attentive throughout the evening. Our drinks were refreshed promptly, the food came out in good time, and a woman who appeared to be one of the partners stopped by our table to check on us personally. She was warm and engaging and mentioned they serve the best Chinese food in the Sacramento and Delta region. After the meal we had, that claim felt justified. Even the restrooms were clean and thoughtfully maintained, which is always a good sign. Between the quality of the food, the comfortable setting, and the inviting Delta atmosphere, this is absolutely a place we would return to. We don't give out five stars lightly, but this one earned it.

We came here for lunch to celebrate my father's birthday and everyone loved it. Each meal was loved by the person who ordered it and by the people who sampled it. My father, sister and niece ordered a steak sandwich. This looked amazing and was the loved by them. My uncle ordered a linguica sandwich and he and my father shared sandwiches. They were smart to do that so they can satisfy their tastebuds with 2 great flavors. My nephew ordered a hamburger. The size of this patty was huge and the meat flavor was fresh and definitely of good quality. My brother in law got a cheesesteak and I got a French dip. The meat on our sandwiches was so tender and melted in our mouth! The meat had no gristle and again of good quality. As a side to our sandwiches some of us chose Portuguese beans which I loved. I want to go back and order this to go one day because I can imagine eating cornbread with it at home while relaxing on a rainy day. Others ordered onion rings which were hand dipped and crispy wonderful rings of pleasure! We also had fried pickles. This isn't something I would ever think about ordering, however from this place I definitely would order again. They must have been hand dipped also. They were so good and addicting. The service here was the best I've experienced in a long time. We all enjoyed our waitress and hope to have her again when we return. (Because we all decided this would be a place we frequent often!) The prices were good. A bit more than a usual sandwich/lunch place but you get what you pay for and we were happy to pay what we did for our meal. I'm not sure what the dinner menu is like. I am looking forward to returning for dinner. It's got to be amazing if our lunch was so good. We will be back for our next family celebration! I will be back before that though. I can't stop thinking about it so I already know I'll be back soon.

It houses a private collection of over 300 big game specimens from Africa and North America, making it a great place to see what big game hunting looked like in the 1930s. The moment you walk in, you're surrounded by world-class trophies covering the walls near the ceiling. It's unlike any other dining atmosphere around in the east bay. For me, this place is pure nostalgia. My dad used to bring me here once a year when he had business in Rio Vista. I remember being completely fascinated by all the trophies mounted on the walls. Large game hunting wasn't something my family participated in, but growing up in a farming family, animals raised for food were a normal part of life. Even so, the quality and quantity of the collection always left me in awe. Going back as an adult, I can say that feeling hasn't changed. The collection is still impressive. This visit, we kept it simple with drinks and appetizers. My friend ordered a margarita on the rocks, and I had a pale ale. Both were delicious and reasonably priced. The bar itself is a classic 65-foot bar that feels like it belongs in another era. For food, I had the Caesar salad, and we split the ten-inch pepperoni pizza. The pizza featured roni cups and felt like a solid, classic appetizer-style pizza . The side Caesar salad was a great portion with crisp lettuce, shaved Parmigiana, and crunchy croutons, simple and tasty. Foster's Bighorn offers a Chop House style menu for lunch and dinner, making it a great spot for a quick bite or a full sit down dinner. I'd absolutely go back: first for the nostalgia, second for the drinks, and third for the food. It's a one-of-a-kind place that feels like stepping into history while enjoying a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

Chicken marsala, fish and chips and lamb chops were all excellent, as was our server. The owner came by our table to check on our experience and confirmed that he had initiated the changes that we had noticed, as well as some that we hadn't. If you like seeing the animal trophies from a bygone era, this is a great place to have a drink or a meal.
