We stopped in Saturday just after noon, right in the middle of the day....we decided to split a Sausagefest Calzone. It was a brisk morning in the valley so we both had on hoodies and still thought it was a bit chilly in the restaurant. Our server was kind and friendly, chuckled when I confirmed there was no charge for a plate to split. I don't order cazones so I was pleasantly surprised that it comes w a side of sauce! It was cheesy....more so than sausagey.... either way I appreciated it was either more ingredient than bready. This kept us full the entire day... it did it's job. And.... it renewed my interest in a food. I've steered clear of calzones as I thought they were a lot of bread. Thanks Melllow Mushroom for a delicious lunch.....as I've come to expect. Been coming here often, so often that I left my Jacket and the manager put it aside for me in the managers office to pick up. Came by to pick it up today July 31st and decided to have lunch. While ordering our food I hear a women complaining about my order for bruschetta. With added avocado. I've done this many times. VERY LOUDLY I heard her conversation with the cook saying"what does she want avocado toast?" When my husband went to look at who was speaking he notice her with NO GLOVES Touching our FOOD. She cut the bread for the bruschetta bare hands! Wiping her hands on her pants and shirt! When management finally came we found out she was the loud mouth speaking unprofessionally. When we called her out about the whole situation she kicked us out and started calling the cops. CALLING THE COPS ON A SMALL FAMILY. 14 month and and a married couple. We left with empty stomachs but most importantly my CHILD was deprived of food and we had to to go to another establishment. 14 month old and a husband and wife The blond manager needs to be reprimanded. She was working lunch shift and I WOULD NOT suggest eating here. If their own management doesn't wear gloves while touching food. WHAT ELSE COULD BE NOT IN COMPLIANCE. ADD ON: We had already been asked to leave and in the surprise of the treatment she gave us I said "are you being serious?" And she replied " I'm calling the cops" No customer service was given AT ALL. So we grabbed our things and I ask what her name was which she refused to answer. I wanted to report the incident to the correct people and my husband with my daughter in hand reiterated "yeah what is your name?" LOUDLY. Because she literally fleed across the room as if we were using foul language and about atta k her with dirty diapers and baby vomit. WE HAD A BABY!!!!! When my husband was getting up with daughter in hand a Maricopa county sheriff and his strong deputy walked by and he said " there's your officers" And they kept walking! So obviously he wasn't being aggressive inany way So sorry the GM DIANA's ego was hurt and she was threatened by us physically seeing her break food protocol And us speaking out about it. Her reaction was completely out of line. Me, my 14 month old baby girl and my husband Would have possibly gotten food contamination. If I were a gluten intolerant person I would steer clear of this place!!! They obviously have gluten free items on their menu but fail to use proper food handling!! Placed order for carry out on 10/25/25 at 12:15. Was told it would be 25-30 minutes for pick up for 2 pizzas. When I showed up to pick up order at 12:45, no one was to be found for 5-10 minutes at the front door to help me. I was told to wait at the bar and pay. At around 1PM, was told pizza still had 10 minutes. 1:15 rolled around, by which point I had paid. No one came up to me, I had to track someone down to check on my order. at 1:20 (65 minutes after initial order placement, and 35 minutes after I arrived by when the pizza should have been done), was told that the "pizzas are in the oven now and will be done soon". Awful service. I had to get to work and was already late at this time, so I asked for a refund at this point, which also took over 5 minutes to process. Left without any pizza, and wasted 40 minutes waiting at this location. Rude employee interaction as well throughout this entire experience. Have been to this location before, however the customer service is terrible, and has been mediocre most of the visits. This was unacceptable however, and there was no respect for customer's time. Will likely not return anymore despite the normally very good pizza. The stars are because of Andrew!!! Andrew approached right away and gave a complete run down of the menu, the atmosphere and the business as we chatted. No , I didn't mention yelp! He just vibes really well. Inside...this place is big and they also have a separate room to throw parties that you're able to rent. You're also able to order half and half pizza . Ordered half "shiitake" and half "Merry prankster". See photos of the menu. It was OK pizza but it, could've been hot when received, in which, it wasn't, it was just warm as if it sat for a bit and we also noticed that it looked as if there was a slice missing until we pushed it together. I recommend going here for sure for a date night or family night. Nice atmosphere for both! Taking the pizza to go and warming the pizza in the toaster oven, made it perfect! There's plenty of parking, plenty of room to spread out and friendly staff. Give Andrew a raise because he was boss! I would go again for sure! read more

Tried this place with friends after church. The pizza was so good! The pretzel bites were delicious and garlicky. Our server was attentive. Only down side was they forgot about my kids' cheese pizza so we all finished and still were waiting for their pizza. Mellow mushroom Gluten free and dairy light eater. Came here for a friends anniversary. This place has a great relaxed atmosphere. Although everyone around us was talking I could still hear. We ordered the peach margarita. Beware. It's Smokey and a bit spicy and strong. I loved it. I got the gluten free crust. Most crusts I tend to rate already lower than regular crust. But this one was better than others I have had. I got the merry prankster. It was pretty good. A bit dry. But I enjoyed it. My friend ordered pesto on the side. It needed it. Just a touch. The pesto sauce was great, the quality of the toppings seemed decent and was overall pretty good, I had higher hopes for the mushroom pizza (holy shiitake)though, it wasn't bad but could have been better(some salt would have really brought out the flavors of the mushroom when cooking them ), our other pizza was quite good. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience, the food was good, atmosphere was amazing, but Sofia elevated the experience to the next level! She was incredibly welcoming, had an excellent multitasking ability, taking care of multiple guests efficiently, and overall was one of the best bartenders I've ever seen. jake was the worst server. he started off so strong until he began to neglect our table. we ordered appetizers and they came out quickly but when we ordered our actual meal, he forgot to input half the tables order and when we asked him to check on it he came back ten minutes later asking what we ordered, and that he "accidentally crossed it out" we told him to cancel it and to just give us our checks bc we had already waited 25 minutes. we ask to split the bill and he leaves for another ten minutes and split it up the wrong way to which i just tell him put it on one card at this point. he took it to cash it out but sent another server to drop it off. i guess he felt embarrassed. he should. read more

Pizza was okay, pretzel bites were super chewy and bland, and the spud puppies were not at all what they were advertised. Instead of tater tots, we received some red potatoes that were undercooked and not at all what we wanted or ordered. Very disappointed, do not order the spud puppies if you think they are tots. The drinks and soup are good! It appears the pizza is much tastier than the salad, based on what I saw my neighbors eating. I didn't enjoy the Greek salad much, as good as it looked in the picture. I met our friend for our annual Christmas gift exchange. She suggested this place, and since I had never been here, I was curious to try it. They have a happy hour from 3 - 6, which is half priced munchies and drinks. I arrived at 4, and the restaurant was pretty empty. The hostess was friendly and said I could pretty much pick where I wanted to sit. The restaurant's decor is unique and fun. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip and Thai chili wings. The dip was delicious! I would go back just for the dip. The wings were ok. They are baked, not fried. We also ordered a pizza. They have many options, and you can also build your own. We got a salami and basil, which was delicious. The service was great, and our server checked on us often. I would recommend this place and will be back to try some other options. read more
