It's Barros . Food lunch specials thicker dough pizza, clean store & good . This store is large, plenty of seating, service is good & quick. If you need a quick lunch Or want to take the kids out for come here, they've got a few games like the old school pizza places used to be known for.. Patio seating too..

I came in on a Friday night to play board games with friends and this was a great venue for that since they have a lot of large tables. My friend and I split the white pizza and it was a bit greasy but not bad. The prices are very reasonable and our waitress was extremely friendly!

Service was fast and friendly and their antipasto salad was so large that I took most of it home for tomorrow. Very family friendly and looks like a great place for a birthday party for kids of all ages. Theres also a few games.

While at a friend's house for a night in dying our hair, we all decided to order something in. My friend likes to use DoorDash for third party ordering to her place and her kiddos suggested pizza. This was the first time ordering pizza through a third party versus having the actual store deliver, which I feel is superior as they have the pizza warmer containers to keep the items warmer. I don't believe DoorDash has pizza shaped warmer bags, and I felt like the quality wasn't quite up to Barro's standards. Though, it could be the locations near me are better. As for the food, everyone seemed to be satisfied so it wasn't a bad meal. I think since I'm used to top tier quality at other Barro's locations, I was a little let down (average 3-Star). Next time, I may suggest going there to see the interior and enjoy the atmosphere of Barro's. This would also ensure the food is nice and hot.

They must close at 9 because the sign lights are out.

Because of schedules we found ourselves without an idea for dinner so why not create a possible yelptability! So I ordered pizza and wings and planned to go pick it up. When I arrived at 8:55 pm I thought maybe I ordered to late or maybe they were closing soon (which would have bummed me out because I hate being that guy) because the big sign on the front of the building was off. When I google mapped it, I noticed they didn't close until 10. There weren't many people inside, like 4, and I thought about how they might have been losing business because of the sign. I'm sure ownership would want that thing on. But my order was ready and the girl working was very friendly. She smiled during our entire short interaction and was very helpful asking if I needed peppers and cheese and extras. The pizza was good like it always is at Barros and the wings were on point. I would recommend this location and I would add to double check the closing time in case the sign is off as it's pretty noticeable now that it gets dark so much earlier than say, a month or two ago.

Went here for a board game night. Got the white pizza. Very flavorful with a great cheese pull and a thick fluffy crust. The staff are very friendly / nice and there is plenty of seating space. The menu was a bit hard to read on the screens but they have paper options if you ask.

Every Tuesday after work, I come to Barro's Pizza. Great customer service. The pizza I ordered was freshly prepped. I wanted to give a big shout out to Blake, who has a positive attitude every time I order a pizza here. The lobby was clean including the restrooms. The entire employees were friendly. I will be coming back in the future!

I typically love Barro's but I wasn't pleased with our last visit. We ordered the Kona pizza with pepperoni instead of chicken. It was drenched in sauce and way too sweet. It was also burnt in some areas. With the overly sweetness and burnt parts of the pizza, it did not sit well with us.

They opened a new location recently. Their pizza at the new location tasted just as good as their other locations. The pizza has a puffy crust. They use a standard sauce and cheese. Sometimes there is a lot of sauce that my family likes. The service is quick and friendly. I usually do pick up. I haven't dined in.

I've been coming here for many years (back when they were at their old location down the road), IMO this is the best Barro's in the valley! They have never disappointed and are always delicious!

This was my worst experience (food wise) at a barro's ever. The employees were very nice and helpful but good quality was not up to par. We ordered cheese sticks, garlic cheese bread, and a pizza. The cheese sticks were horrible. They tasted like they were fried in burnt oil that has never been changed. They had a very strong burnt oil flavor to them The garlic cheese bread was thin and lacked any garlic and almost no cheese flavor. It was like eating a dry cracker. I can't explain it any more. The pizza was the only redeeming part of our dinner and that still wasn't that great. As you can see by the picture the center of the pizza had all the cheese and then the outside of the pizza had such little cheese it seemed like it wasn't even there. It was just a ton of topping-less crust. It was a disappointing experience because I recently moved to the area and used to go to a north Phoenix barros for lunch often but this one, two miles from our new home, was very disappointing.

I was super stoked to check a place with "retro" in the name out, and I gotta be honest here, I left with pretty mixed emotions about a lot of things. The restaurant itself is pretty boring inside, mostly just being black with a few small pictures hanging up. I was kind of expecting big retro movie posters or something hanging around, but I definitely didn't get much of a retro vibe from this place minus a small neon "bar" sign and a claw machine in the corner. The menus were very cool, right by the front door its a record shelf and the records were the menus, so thumbs up for that idea. I thought i was mistaken, but I don't remember seeing sandwich prices on the actual menu, but as I look at other photos on yelp it does appear that the sandwiches don't have prices attached to them, which explains why I was thrown off by the end price. I settled on ordering the "take on me" which was black forest ham, roasted turkey, hickory smoked bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, and mayo on a Hawaiian style roll. I also ordered a sprite and a chocolate chip cookie as a side. The chocolate chip cookie was okay, pretty standard cookie though definitely not worth $3.75. The sprite was $2.99, and the sandwich came to $15.58. I was also charged $0.96 for something called the advantage program which I have no idea what that is. I gotta say, spending over $25 on a sandwich, a small cookie, and a drink is not something I would care to do at a place like this. The sandwich itself was very good, I won't deny that. The meat tasted fresh, and when it was all together it was definitely a good sandwich, but when there's not combo option and a basic sandwich, cookie, and drink ends up being $25 it's gonna be a no from me on returning in the future. Overall, I really wanted to love this place for the name, but the lack of much decorations and prices left something to be desired. The food itself was good, but not worth what was spent.

I love that they change their menu daily, it's handwritten and the details are posted on their Instagram page if you want to take a look before you arrive. Everything is made fresh to order! The day we had gone in, they had a few sandwich and pasta options available to choose from. My husband got the spicy Italian sausage ziti pasta dish and I ordered the chicken parm sandwich. The sandwich came out first; I really liked the marinara sauce on it. It was a bit difficult to eat but exactly what I was expecting and wanting. The pasta took some time to come out, but that was fine. The sauce was like a pesto vodka sauce, very rich & filling, and also tasty. We were both only able to eat half of each dish since they were both large dishes. I believe they only serve pasta dishes on certain days, so if they have them on the menu, definitely consider ordering one of those. They seem to have sandwiches everyday. It's a pretty small place with a few tables & some bar type seating. It gets pretty busy around lunch time, so plan accordingly. We'll be back again to try other items!

I'll admit that on that Saturday that I came across Don Guerra, I had originally went to another bagel shop that was sold out of bagels two hours before closing. I was disappointed as that place wasn't nearby. But this place, Don Guerra Bagel & Slice, is so close to home that I'm embarrassed to admit I should have came here sooner. - Slice Potato & Onion Pizza Combo ($11.00 - Olive oil, sea salt, mozzarella and parmesan cheese, red onion, potato, rosemary, honey drizzle. Option of salad, chips, or wheatberry salad): We got this with the wheatberry salad and a 20 oz cold brew to wash it down with. As someone who loves a good potato pizza, this one right here... oh my gosh. It even beats another place's potato pizza from a local cidery that I truly love. Get this. GET IT. - Jalapeño bagel with lox cream cheese ($6.00 - 85% whole grain sonoran wheat flour, sourdough leavened and no added sugars or oils): I heard the lox cream cheese was really good with the rosemary and salt bagel by one of the staff members but I couldn't pass up a good jalapeño bagel. A Chiltepin or Bird Pepper, is a wild, hot pepper native to the Americas, often considered the ancestor of cultivated peppers. It's a perennial shrub with small, white flowers and tiny, red, very spicy berries that are dispersed by birds, and it thrives in warm, sunny conditions with well-draining soil. My grandma and parents use to grow them and I didn't realize how good I had it until I tried looking for my own chiltepin plant to grow. I can't find any so I guess I'll just have to come here for some cream cheese. - Chocolate Cherry Loaf ($12.00 - Only sold on Saturday and Sunday): Yum yum YUM!!! My partner and I got a few different breads to try out: half a dozen bagels, two different sandwiches on different breads, and their bread samples they had out. I was incredibly impressed with the bread quality overall. I can see why many of the customers before us only came in to buy loaves of bread for the week. As for the bagels, I'm incredibly picky coming from the northeast. The everything bagel is pretty sparse with toppings and what toppings it did have was mostly just poppy seeds. There was such a teeny tiny amount of garlic and onion! The actual quality of the bagel was good, but I'm a little sad about the topping situation. Not only that, there was a very hard pebble or grain bit (?) in my bagel. I'm not sure if it was in the bagel itself or somehow mixed into the topping, but it did not seem edible as it couldn't break down at all. I hope this was just a one time mistake! As for the sandwiches, the breakfast panini's best part was actually their focaccia. The rest of the sandwich components were okay. The beef slider is much smaller than the focaccia slices, the steamed egg easily falls out, and the chipotle aioli gets lost amongst the other components. I probably wouldn't get the panini again, but would happily buy the focaccia only. The Italian sandwich was a bit better. We got it on the torta roll, which was also very good. It's hard to go wrong with a classic italian sandwich. It does get a bit salty with all of the components combined, but could be offset with the combo with a drink. The samples they had out the day we visited were of two different sourdough breads. This was some good sourdough! It was very pleasantly tangy, but not too much. There was also a very good crumb and crust. The building is designed to be more of a fast casual and pickup kind of spot. There's shaded seating outdoors where you can also wait while your order is getting ready. They also offer online ordering and drive thru pickup. Although I wasn't as wowed by their bagels and breakfast offerings, the actual quality of their bread was so good that I would solely recommend their breads alone.
