I received a quote and a follow up call a few days later from Jorge from JC's Tree Care and Landscape Service. He wasn't the least expensive but was very competitive and more reasonable than many of them. Jorge was very courteous and professional, asked all the right questions and made me feel comfortable with giving him the job. He constantly communicated with me and followed up the morning of our appointment. Later that morning when his last job was running a little late, he called me to let me know they were going to be few minutes late for my appointment that afternoon. He even called to let me know he was 10 minutes away. No sitting around wondering if he was going to show up, which I greatly appreciate. He and his crew arrived and took care of the job. Jorge's crew obviously takes his professionalism to heart and gave me the same level of professionalism that Jorge himself demonstrated with every communication I had with him. After completing the job, the cleanup was impeccable. They even went over to my neighbor's houses on both sides to ensure there wasn't any mess left, that wasn't cleaned up on their side. Additionally, they were to remove two palms at my next-door neighbor's home. They showed up right on-time. One huge truck. Then, another. And, then another! And so many guys, each moving quickly & seeming to know exactly what he was assigned to do. They covered my little pond, carefully moved some patio furniture, and afterwards blew all the tree dust off the lawns/driveways and swept up into trash cans. I called the 1st entry, the man looked cold to me and his estimate shocked the daylight out of me, how could he possibly charge that much, as senor Cabral completed the job in less than 3 hours, he had 2 workers, 1 was his son. My 2nd estimate was with Cabral Tree Service. Camilo Cabral was very nice, I just connected w him immediately, good vibes I guess, he quoted me 40% cheaper than the other dude, I was thrilled as I just came back from a very expensive cruise from Venice to 9 ports and running into a cash crunch I guess, I think I should spoil the grandkids a little less. I was both nostalgic and at the same time relieved seeing it finally gone as the roots were breaking the sprinklers, it grew to the sky and became so huge, it literally fell sideway to the ground.
