The sandwich has mostly the same components as a traditional Vietnamese banh mi (except the bread is fluffier, softer, and better in my opinion) with Korean spicy pork. The spicy pork was flavorful, however the juices from the pork made the sandwich a little soggy. That along with the size of the sandwich made it a messy eat. My boyfriend got the beef tacos, and he said they were really good. I'll be coming back again.... the next time I'm randomly off work on a week day. Tip: you can get a side of tater tots + a drink for $3 more with your sandwich! read more

The staff is very friendly. The cashier gave me great recommendations on which meat to choose from. The decor is very cute! I guess most people would consider it "nerdy" since it's a gamers theme. The location is a bit difficult to find. It's hidden in an area that looks like it's meant for offices. The restaurant hours aren't that great, I wish they were open on more days or at least longer hours. I would probably try something different the next time I go other than the burrito though. They're menu has so much variety ranging from burgers to hotdogs to rice bowls and tacos/burritos! I had to give this place 3 stars though just because what I ordered wasn't "OMG amazing I can eat this again" but I do recommend the rice bowls because the portion sizing for that is definitely worth the money! There was one incident i had made an order for a friend Veggies, 2 Eggs, & Cheese and they missed the veggies, unfortunately it was for a friend and was to go. Like most office park eateries, Megabytes is only open on weekdays and closes at 3pm. This makes it kind of a bummer for those not within the Centreville, Chantilly, and Herndon areas (sorry guys!) This sandwich-burger-banh mi joint serves up an extensive menu and drink selection. The place itself looks modest, if not a bit old. But you can tell the owners added small accents to the joint to give it a more gamer vibe: circuit boards on the walls; Mario candies and vintage Street Fighter cans at the register; and Error 404 messages to tell you when the soda machine is out of business. There are even PlayStation games towards the back of the restaurant that are free to play -- talk about killer! The cleanliness of this place, however, could be improved. When I went to get napkins I saw tiny black ants on the countertop.....no bueno. The cashier also seemed a bit flustered taking orders because there was a miscommunication about the chicken and waffles being unavailable even when people before me had already ordered them. Poor dude, I gotchu bro. Everyone was very nice though, and really appreciated it. :-) The prices here are extremely reasonable and the food here is great. I would just recommend to keep an eye out for cleanliness and maybe invest more in making your chicken and waffles always available because apparently that's THE thing you have to get here. Place is clearly run by someone with a passion for food. Banh Mi had wonderfully fresh crunchy veggies, delicious meats, just right sauce and a perfectly crusty French roll. I have eaten here four times now and everything has been delicious. altho I am currently addicted to the spicy chicken bowl (love all the veggies with the tender chicken) and the mac and cheese rolls with the chili cheese sauce. Their wrapper on their rolls is far superior to any I've had in this area. It's crispy and perfectly fried and not at all undercooked or soggy. The decor is super cute and the employees are very friendly. If I worked closer, I'd be here for lunch a lot more often. Pro tip: Do not order a lot of mac and cheese rolls to eat later in the day. I have been a patron since the week they opened. I am always amazed at the creativity Jin offers. Today was a spicy turkey grilled cheese with deep fried jalapenos. BTW, I brought lunch and when I saw the special, still ordered. Nutella waffles for desert, yum. The Total piggy is pure genius, 2 dogs, wrapped in bacon, deep-fried. Gourmet dinning at its best. The variety of egg rolls is also amazing, the Hurt Roll, and my favorite, mac and cheese with jalapeno and bacon eggroll, served with queso and chili. How can that be a bad thing? Wow! I have been wanting to try out the Spam Musubi for some time now but was disappointed that this is only open M-F until 3:00pm, but it really was worth the wait. We ordered Lemongrass Banh Mi, Chicken Salad Wrap, Bacon Tator Tot Bomb, and the Spam Musubi (best we have had since Oahu in 2017). We give all of the menu items 5 STARS! Great new lunch spot for anyone working in the Chantilly area. Located in an office park off of Sullyfield Circle close to Route 50. Ask them for their specials. So far I have had Chicken and Waffles and the fried chicken wings were awesome and I had their Chicken Noodle Soup, Vietnamese Style with Spring Rolls and it was also delicious. They don't have these specials everyday though and you need to ask. Everything is made fresh to order and tastes like a home cooked meal! I would say that we had a good lunch at Megabytes. Was it the best lunch ever? Not really. Since we took the food to go, I think it suffered a little. I got a panino that was lukewarm, cheese not melted, no grill marks and no sign of the pesto sauce I really wanted to try (which I was told was on all their panini). Have been to this place 3 times, gotten different menu items each time, they have a lot of unique stuff. The service is good and the staff is friendly. this review is for the avocado bacon cheeseburger. I'm not really sure why the burger patty was marinaded, but i didn't appreciate the sauce in the burger (it was off putting). Plus when you marinade the ground beef, i have this tendency to believe the quality is not v good and marinading it means your trying to hide something. It's just my personal belief. Hubby got the spicy pork banh mi. He seemed to like it. However it was missing the pickled vegetables. They're generous with the meat portion on it though. Really great selection of lunch items. Asian, Tacos, even good old hotdogs, and they're all done well. I had a double down bowl with spicy pork and mild chicken, and it was a just the right level of heat without being overwhelming. My friend had the naughty piggy (or something like that), which was two hotdogs wrapped in bacon on a sub roll, and it was also quite tasty. It's too bad they're not open for dinner or the weekend, because I'm in DC during the day unless I take the day off, but I understand the business decision. This little eatery is tucked between business buildings. We were lucky enough to find it because of its location near Dreamy Puppies. I'd heard a lot about the place and the pictures my friends took made me want to try. We came in just as the lunch menu went up. The owner was very nice and let us know the specials of the day. We ordered the mac'n cheese eggrolls, spam musubi, and megabytes 50/50 burger. The mac'n cheese eggrolls were delicious! It came with a side of chili but that's so optional since the eggrolls themselves were really fresh and flavorful. The spam musubi was as expected. I think they seasoned the spam with soy sauce or use a flavored spam; it was definitely seasoned well. The 50/50 burger is basically a mix of beef and bacon in the patty. I thought it was ok just because I'm not a huge fan of all the meat, but my boyfriend definitely enjoyed it. It came with a sunny side-up egg too, which made it perfect for brunch. The staff was very friendly and the food choices were great. I think it's a good selection for a restaurant that focuses on breakfast and lunch. And it's not in such a crowded area! read more
