Wished the Meet Fresh at Livermore did not shut down. This Fremont store is still very good: lots of varieties of items, clean store, friendly staff. The egg puff texture was ok but tast was not good. Winter Melon drink was good. Slush tasted ok. Parking was plentiful and will come again. read more

i was coming here again with family members yesterday. not sure what time exactly they should close the store but yelp and google say 10:00pm. came here around 08:00pm. as usual order through kiosk and then sit, waiting the order. once we got our orders, we ate and talked. to be honest, all tables were kind of dirty or sticky. we just cleaned it by ourselves. we ate slowly and talked to each other because my aunt will go back the next day. suddenly around 09:00pm, a staff ( young lady ) wiped empty tables ( tables that not being used by any customers ) and put the chairs on top of those tables, showing that not allow to be used by customers. i asked her what time the store will close??? she said 10:00pm and suddenly another staff turned off some of the lights. at that hour, around 09:00pm, many customers came and some would like to sit but not allowed. i changed the star to one for the service while the desserts are always great. i suggest written store close at 10:00pm but last order is at 09:00pm or just turn off the kiosk at 09:00pm. i do understand that staffs need to leave or tired or want to go home but i will say doing like that is kind of impolite while customers are still coming... read more

Overpriced, simple food. Nothing special--don't come with high expectations. I ordered plain doufu pudding (dou hua) with peanut. In Taiwan, it costs no more than $1.50. This place charges close to $12.00 + tip. Tip? It's self-service from placing the order to picking it up--I did everything myself, and they ask for a tip? OMG, what a rip-off place. Glad I got to swing by this place for some dessert after lunch :) I don't think there is one close by home for me so it was nice having the chance to try it again. The inside is more self service for ordering, the menus are on two screens and you can just scroll through and select your items. It is pretty spacious inside so it's a great hangout place for groups. They seem pretty busy so they get lots of orders , i would say expected wait time would be at least 10 minutes especially if you are going after lunchtime. I thought everything was pretty good overall. It is on the pricier side for desserts, but the portion sizes are big. The medium size is pretty sharable between two people maybe even three if you aren't too hungry. It isn't overly sweet either and the menu variety is nice if you aren't sure what you want. read more

Came here quite a few times. Most recently on a hot Sunday afternoon, this Meet Fresh was PACKED. We got super lucky with grabbing a table in the back. It was super crowded here. It's great to see a Meet Fresh here in East Bay, so that I don't have to go to the Peninsula and South Bay for my Taiwanese shaved ice fix. Yeah, Meet Fresh is a Taiwanese chain that is considered trash in Taiwan (like how we talk s*** about McDonald's in the US, but overseas everyone loves them)...but beggars can't be choosers overseas! read more

We were in the mood for a nice cold treat and being that I had never been to Meet Fresh, decided on taking a drive out to Pacific Commons. Ordering was easy at a walk up kiosk, and there was plenty of seating. Our order came out quickly, and I was shocked by how big the size large is (all servings are medium or large). The large can easily be split into 3-4 servings. The shaved ice was smooth and creamy, and the toppings were super fresh! It hit the spot. There's a handwashing station and water station that come in handy when you're cleaning up and need to hydrate afterwards. I heard this place can get filled up pretty quickly in the evenings, but we came by around 2pm on a Thursday afternoon and had a very pleasant experience with no wait time or fighting for a table. We'll be back! read more

A must for the people who like their desserts "not too sweet." It is not my go-to for desserts, but it is refreshing and not overly sweet (I ten to prefer the sweeter desserts.) To order, we used the kiosk. It was in a different language which made it a little harder to understand. However, the visuals made the process easier. There are many seating options and I love the different shapes and options of seating areas. Great for a gathering or a quick dessert with friends. read more

Hadn't had Meet Fresh in awhile. Two of us shared: large shaved ice mango/strawberry $16.25 boba $1 mini q $1.25 Free fruit sorbet scoop included. I had to ask staff in person to have the condensed milk on the side since the kiosk doesn't give you that option. Tasted ok. On the pricier end. Super busy for a Saturday evening. Seating inside and outside. Easy parking in the plaza. read more

Tapioca balls, red beans, mochi, and milk tea all packed up in convenient bowls big enough to split among two but certainly a treat one can finish on their own! Came in on a random weekend afternoon before the evening rush looking for a little pick me up and what a satisfying visit this was. Osthmanthus seems to be the seasonal flavor and their tofu pudding shaved ice was delicious! After parking in the spacious lot and entering the building, I headed to the self service kiosks as it seems they were short-staffed and weren't operating the typical registers. As mentioned before, having more defined pictures of each ingredient would have been nice on the electronic ordering system. I ended up having to flip my eyes between the posters and physical menus at the kiosk to decipher what my tastebuds were craving. I had a challenging time deciding what to get since their special combos and deals definitely looked enticing but I wasn't looking to feast during this visit. I ended up settling on getting the osthmanthus tofu pudding shaved ice bowl and took advantage of the egg waffle that came with an additional 3 dollars. As I waited for my order to be completed, I took a look inside the huge dining area that was nearly empty at this time except for an older couple also awaiting their order. It was pretty quiet but I was out of there shortly. The staff were quick and friendly. The mochi egg waffle was crispy yet chewy from the tapioca flour used to make it. The chocolate sauce found inside was scrumptious. The portion was decent and definitely shareable. The tofu pudding was premade but was refreshing. It was only slightly sweet and paired really well with the "soup" base. The other chewy bites were great complements as well but after halfway through, it does get a bit old. Highly recommend to share! Meet Fresh has an online app which can be used to place orders and also has a rewards system that allows you to earn and redeem points for discounts. On your birthday, they also gift you points equivalent of 3 dollars which gets you about half a drink, which to me isn't worth a trip specifically for the birthday freebie. It's still a nice gesture though so if you're a frequent visitor and a fan, be sure to sign up! Overall, Meet Fresh is a great place to satisfy your craving for classic Asian desserts like red bean soup, grass jelly, tofu pudding, almond/sesame soup. The prices are relatively high due to the portion size and variety of ingredients you'll be having in your dessert meal. With their deals and combos, bring a friend and you'll be dining with value! Come during non-peak times and you'll be able to order in peace and at least won't have to wait too long for your order. This place definitely makes its way in my rotation and if it's "fresh" to you, perhaps it'll be on yours too! read more

Lots of seating, lots of parking, big tables, tasty snacks and drinks but slow service. If you have lots of time to kill then this is the place for you. Mango shaved ice $16: 5/5 this is humongous! A huge tower is shaved ice topped with ice cream and fresh mango. Good to share with multiple people. Make your own bowl $8: daughter picked mochi, passion fruit ice cream and other stuff. She enjoyed it. Passion fruit green tea +lychees jelly $6.50: 3.5/5 got it 25% sweet but was still on the sweet side. Fresh milk oolong tea hot $6: 4/5 this was better than the green tea. Nice and smooth. read more

Cozy Taiwanese dessert shop with dim lighting and modern design inside. We got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature with Taro Balls. The Grass Jelly had a fragrant taste with a delicate texture. The handmade purple and orange Taro Balls were soft and chewy. The Melon Jelly looked interesting, so we added it on the side to try. It tastes like winter melon tea made into jelly form. Would get again. The bottom has shaved ice that you can adjust the amount of. It comes with two creamers to pour on top, giving the dessert soup a milky creamy consistency. Huge portion size. Overall refreshing and not too sweet. The Matcha Red Bean Egg Waffle was made fresh and hot. Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. It had a nice earthy flavor from the matcha and was super loaded with red beans in every bite. We had fun tearing off the small waffle balls and popping them in our mouths. Side note - the to-go bag was great in maintaining the temperatures of our desserts. It is made of a reusable cloth-like material that makes it sturdy too. A nice, caring touch! Service is quick, we ordered online and everything was ready for pickup when we arrived. They also sell various teas, other desserts like tofu pudding, shaved ice, caramel pudding, mochi, cake, and seasonal items. I'm glad there are both cold and hot items available for any kind of weather. They have a large assortment of toppings that I want to try next time! read more

Saturday night and it's packed here. My first time and I'm underwhelmed by it. It's shaved ice with all the condiments but lawdddd it can expensive. One of our orders was almost $20 with red beans, condensed milk, boba and jelly. The waffle had some red beans and had a dip on the side was $10. I guess this is the going prices around here. Not our idea to come as our friends wanted to meet here this night. The filled with ppl. Overall it's ok. I didn't really see workers able to get away and clean tables when patrons leave. Service is absolutely horrible. There's no customer waiting in line. Employees refused to help to order. Waited 15 minutes for my single original egg waffle order. I then went up to the counter to ask how much longer do I have to wait for my order after 20 minutes. They then said 3 minutes and picked up the order ticket to actually make it. Neither employee has any sense of urgency. No wonder this chain is going out of business left and right. The restroom is nasty. Absolutely it's a disgrace having this kind of business around. Health Department and the city should pay them a visit as the restroom alone does not meet sanitary standards and those employees also do not look like they comply with any health and safety regulations. read more

Got the build your own bowl. Icy grass jelly + rice balls + crystal mochi. I personally belive that there should be more crystal mochi when added on. For $1.25 we were only given 1 mochi. I've ordered this topping at other locations and usually receive 3. I totally understand it costing a little more than their other toppings, but to have just 1 is too little. Also, the red beans in the mochi is a bit on the sweet/strong side. The flavor is totally fine on its own, but clashes with the lighter grass jelly flavor. Otherwise, Grass jelly and ice had solid "grassy" flavor and it was an overall refreshing dessert to end the day. Service was really fast and staff was kind. Let's start with the easy part...business hours. Don't say you're open until 10pm, if you start putting chairs up at 9:15. Took about 10 minutes for my order, and I ask, aren't you open until 10pm? The employee tells me they have to clean up. True, but clean up starts when you close. People are expecting you to be open during your business hours, and be able to sit and eat. Or how about those sitting down already and they start stacking chairs on the tables next to you. I was told I can sit outside on the patio. But those doors to the patio was locked! And the sprinklers are on, so enjoy your food with a sprinkling of mist on you. You want to clean up early, adjust your hours to close earlier then. Now let's discuss the food. When you order a dessert bowl, you can choose hot or cold. I chose hot. When I got my order, it was cold. I told the employee and he looked at the sticker on the bowl and acknowledged it was suppose to be hot. So, he takes it and throws it into a microwave! Plastic lid and all! When I immediately questioned that, he said that's how they make it a hot version - but nuking it! No no no...so buyer beware, you are getting a cold dessert and then just microwaved to make it warm. The plastic in the microwave really pissed me off. I won't be returning! The experience just shows absolute lack of business acumen. Stop patronizing these type of businesses. read more

This Meet Fresh location is in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center. Parking may be hit or miss, as this is a pretty busy plaza, especially on weeknights and weekends, but there is usually more parking further away. All self-service, ordering is through one of the kiosks, then you wait for them to call out and place your order on the counter - they are not that consistent calling out your order, so you may have to ask several times. Service is not the greatest - employees are not that helpful here, they usually just stay behind the counter to fulfill the orders, but not available to answer questions, even when you are waving them down, it may take a lot of effort to finally get someone to stop to help you. Even when the shop was basically empty (2 people ahead of us (same group)) on a weekday, it took my friend and me 30 - 40 minutes to just get a couple of desserts and drinks. When we came back on a weekend, it was busier and took us over an hour for just 2 desserts, and they stopped calling out orders, so everyone was just confused and going back and forth to see if their orders were done. Our order was sitting behind the counter with a bunch of orders that were done for who knows how long and our order was wrong, but we just took the L. We just took our order and left because of how busy it was and not worth the hassle to try to get it fixed, which was a bummer, as they were obviously short staffed for a busy weekend. I usually do not like their drinks here, but decided to give it another try - I tried their Fresh Milk Jasmine Green Tea and Jasmine Green Tea. Both drinks were super bitter even with regular sweetness, and was eh. My usual go to I would get here is their Icy Grass Jelly Signature without the grass jelly shaved ice, so just the grass jelly and taro balls with a creamer on the side. I do wish they give an extra creamer because it only comes with 1 tiny creamer and it is such a small creamer for a bowl that size. read more

Unfortunately my party and I had a pretty terrible experience with this location. We ordered a shaved iced item but unfortunately they didn't have any which was fine and understandable. As we requested a refund the worker said that another customer had the same order AND order number who also requested a refund (and received it) which meant we weren't able to get one which honestly doesn't make sense. We asked for a cash refund but apparently they don't take cash even though I saw their cash register with cash inside it. We were given the option to just get other menu items, we weren't interested in anything else so we are deciding to just dispute the payment with the bank. The workers were also saying management weren't responding via phone to them which screams like a big issue. We most likely won't be returning to this location. read more

instead of craving academic validation like every good asian kid, i like to vroom vroom to meetfresh to eat my troubles away. the hot grass jelly bowl is yum yum yummy yum!! gone with the failing grades, lack of internships, unsatisfactory marriage prospects, financial semi-dependence on slightly disappointed parents, and of course the grating otherness experienced as a born and bred american citizen. if you are not this type of asian kid the taro ball bowl and red bean bowl are good options! their shaved ice lowkey sucks unless you like that crunchy icy texture. egg waffles and drinks are mid. i would stick with hot stuff until you get a good feeling about what to order - not everything is supremely scrumptious. located near automall/pacific commons! 2 ordering kiosks only, busy in evenings. service is quick and efficient read more

Never a disappointment when getting the Mochi Shaved Ice but the granules of ice took me a while to get used to because of the size. The ice cream is very velvety soft & creamy. They add shredded coconut flakes, grass jelly, mochi logs, taro balls & mochi filled w.black sesame & almond mochi, every item gives you such variety you can never grow tired of this. A very satisfying dessert. I also added a winter melon boba drink & if was fragrant, I got regular sweetness which was just right. As far as the restroom, you get a code at the bottom of your receipt. I can't say it was very clean & out of the 2 stalls, 1 was out of commission. They also used very diluted soap, so don't know how clean my hands would be, but glad there is a restroom I could use. Other than this, I only wish there was a Meet Fresh closer to home. read more
