Came in on a random weekend afternoon before the evening rush looking for a little pick me up and what a satisfying visit this was. Osthmanthus seems to be the seasonal flavor and their tofu pudding shaved ice was delicious! After parking in the spacious lot and entering the building, I headed to the self service kiosks as it seems they were short-staffed and weren't operating the typical registers. As mentioned before, having more defined pictures of each ingredient would have been nice on the electronic ordering system. I ended up having to flip my eyes between the posters and physical menus at the kiosk to decipher what my tastebuds were craving. I had a challenging time deciding what to get since their special combos and deals definitely looked enticing but I wasn't looking to feast during this visit. I ended up settling on getting the osthmanthus tofu pudding shaved ice bowl and took advantage of the egg waffle that came with an additional 3 dollars. As I waited for my order to be completed, I took a look inside the huge dining area that was nearly empty at this time except for an older couple also awaiting their order. It was pretty quiet but I was out of there shortly. The staff were quick and friendly. The mochi egg waffle was crispy yet chewy from the tapioca flour used to make it. The chocolate sauce found inside was scrumptious. The portion was decent and definitely shareable. The tofu pudding was premade but was refreshing. It was only slightly sweet and paired really well with the "soup" base. The other chewy bites were great complements as well but after halfway through, it does get a bit old. Highly recommend to share! Meet Fresh has an online app which can be used to place orders and also has a rewards system that allows you to earn and redeem points for discounts. On your birthday, they also gift you points equivalent of 3 dollars which gets you about half a drink, which to me isn't worth a trip specifically for the birthday freebie. It's still a nice gesture though so if you're a frequent visitor and a fan, be sure to sign up! Overall, Meet Fresh is a great place to satisfy your craving for classic Asian desserts like red bean soup, grass jelly, tofu pudding, almond/sesame soup. The prices are relatively high due to the portion size and variety of ingredients you'll be having in your dessert meal. With their deals and combos, bring a friend and you'll be dining with value! Come during non-peak times and you'll be able to order in peace and at least won't have to wait too long for your order. Cozy Taiwanese dessert shop with dim lighting and modern design inside. We got the Icy Grass Jelly Signature with Taro Balls. The Grass Jelly had a fragrant taste with a delicate texture. The handmade purple and orange Taro Balls were soft and chewy. The Melon Jelly looked interesting, so we added it on the side to try. It tastes like winter melon tea made into jelly form. Would get again. The bottom has shaved ice that you can adjust the amount of. It comes with two creamers to pour on top, giving the dessert soup a milky creamy consistency. Huge portion size. Overall refreshing and not too sweet. The Matcha Red Bean Egg Waffle was made fresh and hot. Crunchy exterior and fluffy interior. It had a nice earthy flavor from the matcha and was super loaded with red beans in every bite. We had fun tearing off the small waffle balls and popping them in our mouths. Side note - the to-go bag was great in maintaining the temperatures of our desserts. It is made of a reusable cloth-like material that makes it sturdy too. A nice, caring touch! Service is quick, we ordered online and everything was ready for pickup when we arrived. They also sell various teas, other desserts like tofu pudding, shaved ice, caramel pudding, mochi, cake, and seasonal items. Saturday night and it's packed here. My first time and I'm underwhelmed by it. It's shaved ice with all the condiments but lawdddd it can expensive. One of our orders was almost $20 with red beans, condensed milk, boba and jelly. The waffle had some red beans and had a dip on the side was $10. I guess this is the going prices around here. Got the build your own bowl. Icy grass jelly + rice balls + crystal mochi. I personally belive that there should be more crystal mochi when added on. For $1.25 we were only given 1 mochi. I've ordered this topping at other locations and usually receive 3. I totally understand it costing a little more than their other toppings, but to have just 1 is too little. Also, the red beans in the mochi is a bit on the sweet/strong side. The flavor is totally fine on its own, but clashes with the lighter grass jelly flavor. Otherwise, Grass jelly and ice had solid "grassy" flavor and it was an overall refreshing dessert to end the day. Service was really fast and staff was kind. This Meet Fresh location is in the Pacific Commons Shopping Center. Parking may be hit or miss, as this is a pretty busy plaza, especially on weeknights and weekends, but there is usually more parking further away. All self-service, ordering is through one of the kiosks, then you wait for them to call out and place your order on the counter - they are not that consistent calling out your order, so you may have to ask several times. Service is not the greatest - employees are not that helpful here, they usually just stay behind the counter to fulfill the orders, but not available to answer questions, even when you are waving them down, it may take a lot of effort to finally get someone to stop to help you. Even when the shop was basically empty (2 people ahead of us (same group)) on a weekday, it took my friend and me 30 - 40 minutes to just get a couple of desserts and drinks. When we came back on a weekend, it was busier and took us over an hour for just 2 desserts, and they stopped calling out orders, so everyone was just confused and going back and forth to see if their orders were done. Our order was sitting behind the counter with a bunch of orders that were done for who knows how long and our order was wrong, but we just took the L. We just took our order and left because of how busy it was and not worth the hassle to try to get it fixed, which was a bummer, as they were obviously short staffed for a busy weekend. I usually do not like their drinks here, but decided to give it another try - I tried their Fresh Milk Jasmine Green Tea and Jasmine Green Tea. Both drinks were super bitter even with regular sweetness, and was eh. My usual go to I would get here is their Icy Grass Jelly Signature without the grass jelly shaved ice, so just the grass jelly and taro balls with a creamer on the side. I do wish they give an extra creamer because it only comes with 1 tiny creamer and it is such a small creamer for a bowl that size. read more

Delicious! Went here yesterday with my brother and son where we ordered two medium shave ices and a boba tea. The ices were super delicious! Lots of goodies such as custard, boba, mochi, fruit and goodness in the bowl with shaved ice. We loved them! The service was fast and the seats are very comfortable! Unfortunately my party and I had a pretty terrible experience with this location. We ordered a shaved iced item but unfortunately they didn't have any which was fine and understandable. As we requested a refund the worker said that another customer had the same order AND order number who also requested a refund (and received it) which meant we weren't able to get one which honestly doesn't make sense. We asked for a cash refund but apparently they don't take cash even though I saw their cash register with cash inside it. We were given the option to just get other menu items, we weren't interested in anything else so we are deciding to just dispute the payment with the bank. The workers were also saying management weren't responding via phone to them which screams like a big issue. We most likely won't be returning to this location. read more

Never a disappointment when getting the Mochi Shaved Ice but the granules of ice took me a while to get used to because of the size. The ice cream is very velvety soft & creamy. They add shredded coconut flakes, grass jelly, mochi logs, taro balls & mochi filled w.black sesame & almond mochi, every item gives you such variety you can never grow tired of this. A very satisfying dessert. I also added a winter melon boba drink & if was fragrant, I got regular sweetness which was just right. As far as the restroom, you get a code at the bottom of your receipt. I can't say it was very clean & out of the 2 stalls, 1 was out of commission. Interior is nice and spacious and has lots of seating. You can either order at a kiosk or with a cashier. We ordered a hot tofu pudding and a coco sago with an add on of tofu pudding. The hot tofu pudding was only lukewarm at best and the tofu was broken down into very tiny pieces. They forgot my tofu pudding add on for the coco sago so they gave us a small side of it in a condiment container. The tofu pudding add on was $1.25. To my disappointment, the tofu pudding was sour so I had to abandon my dessert to avoid the risk of a stomachache after. Horrible experience at this Meet Fresh. I would avoid it at all costs if I were you. Our group of 6 came here at 12pm today (Monday). There were no other customers and no employees at the counter. We tried to order at the kiosk but both kiosks were not working. I went to the counter to ask for help and saw an older lady putting on make-up in the kitchen. I asked her to help with our orders and she acted so annoyed at us. She said "The kiosks are working! Show me how you ordered. You must've done something wrong." So we showed her, and when the order couldn't be processed, she said "Oh maybe it's broken. I have to call tech support." So we asked her to take our orders at the counter, and she asked "How many of you? All 6 of you? Oh then I can't. I'm the only one working today." At this point we were all tired of the whole back and forth so we left. That lady was rude and unprofessional and outright lying to our faces. I could see other employees in the kitchen so when she said she was the only person working, I knew she just didn't want to help us. It was ok. The part of the experience that we did not like was the inefficiency of the order pick up. I put my number in at the kiosk (3:20pm) and they're supposed to text me when ready. We waited 20 min (3:40pm) and nothing. We saw people come in after us receive their order so we went to check. It had been ready but there was one guy calling numbers in a soft voice. As for the Matcha egg waffle, I loved the texture! Crispy on the outside, fluffy, soft, and chewy on the inside. However, it tasted like a plain egg waffle so the matcha aspect was very lacking. We ordered on their kiosks which were pretty laggy. Our orders came out separately, so while they did call our number for one order, they left the other order out without calling us. The utensils were dirty, and it took a while for me to get a worker's attention to get a new set (they weren't busy). I read reviews commenting on the bingsu served at Meet Fresh. Since I was in the area I decided to try it. They do not serve bingsu, they serve an crushed ice based dessert. The consistency of the ice (not bingsu iced milk) is grainy, not snowy like either bingsu or shave ice consistency. The mango topping was tasty though the mango wasn't completely ripe.
