I was in the mood for something fruity, so I went with fruit-based drinks and they were all super refreshing, exactly what I needed that day. The snack selection is huge, which makes it tough to decide. You can't go wrong with popcorn chicken, and the sesame balls are a nice surprise since you don't usually see them at boba spots.

$7 for a drink and this is all the drink I get?! It's 75% ice, 15% boba and 10% milk.... wtf. Please do better iTea....

This location isn't the best. Visited on a Sunday shortly after opening and there was one employee making drinks out front and one employee in the back. Another employee came around 11:45am and was late. The two employees out front were chatting about transferring colleges and taking their time to make my drink. Took about 15 minutes to get my completed order. Popcorn chicken was ready in about 10 minutes tho. The employee yelled out my number but no other acknowledgement or communication was given. Very sad service despite tipping. A simple thanks or appreciate you waiting would have sufficed, as they clearly like to communicate with one another. The popcorn chicken was delicious but came with no basil or garlic. Not sure how this is a basil popcorn chicken as there was nothing. The drink was also not the best. The boba wasn't good at all but the drink itself was fine but together, definitely did not enjoy. Overall, I won't be back. I love their popcorn chicken usually and their diverse drink menu but this location lacks service and consistency. I don't recommend given there's plenty of other boba spots nearby.

Stopped by for a cold refresher on a hot Sunday afternoon. I was a bit hesitant based on the reviews but there weren't many other options nearby. Similar to what other Yelpers noted, it took a solid 20mins for two drinks. It was a bit confusing to follow the digital countdown for each order as my order went back and forth and at one point went from 0 mins to 5 mins. However the drinks were made exactly how we ordered. There's enough seating inside and the place is clean. It was pretty crowded and they were constantly receiving pick up orders too. Overall, not a bad option if you're shopping nearby and need a cold sweet boba treat! Just be prepared to wait 10-20mins.

Not satisfied with my drink. I ordered 30% ice but gave me like 70%. When I asked the staff, she said it was 30%. Not making an effort to satisfy a customer.

Stopped by for some boba after dinner. It was pretty busy but the wait wasn't too long. There is a kiosk inside to order your drinks. The store is pretty spacious with a good amount of tables and chairs for seating. My partner and I ordered the Black Tea Oreo & Creamy and a White Peach Blossom Oolong Tea. Hits: * Black Tea Oreo & Creamy was pleasantly deliciously. I've had Oreo drinks previously and it lacked the authentic flavor of Oreos. The Oreo drink here was blended very well and wasn't too sweet which I liked. Average: * White Peach Blossom Oolong Tea was decent. It had a bit of the aroma of the tea but I think it would have been better if it was brewed a bit longer for the taste to be a lot stronger. I had it with aloe vera and it was refreshing. Final Verdict: Solid 3/5. The drinks were decent, I really did enjoy the Oreo drink but the White Peach Oolong could have been better. There's a lot of drink and food items on the menu that I want to try next time since I think there are better drinks on the menu to try but so far I haven't found a drink that sticks out.

The popcorn chicken comes in a generous portion. Unlike many places that go heavy on the batter, this version is lightly coated, so you're actually getting more chicken and protein in every bite. The chicken stays juicy and flavorful without feeling greasy or overly fried, which really sets it apart. Definitely one of the better popcorn chicken options around. I like my popcorn chicken really spicy, and while their highest spice level was spicy enough, I do wish they offered the seasoning powder on the side so you could customize it if needed.

I had tried this restaurant's Newark location before. Today, with no other options available, I ended up choosing this branch, which was packed with people. For the fried items, I ordered tempura fish cake (tasted good), squid balls (also good), popcorn chicken (seemed to be made with chicken breast so it was a bit dry), and takoyaki (pretty average). As for the drink, I got the peach oolong tea. Since I requested zero sweetness and zero ice, it ended up tasting like... nothing at all. Because the place was so crowded, it was hard to feel any sense of service or enjoy the interior vibe. I'd rate the food 4 out of 5, the drink 3 out of 5, and the environment 3 out of 5. There wasn't anything terribly wrong, but still, I don't think I'd come back.

I always go to I-Tea in other locations. I kid you not the mango sago never misses. It's a clean boba spot near lots of restaurants and tons of parking. It's clean inside and drinks come out fast. Not bad, right?

With the endless boba options here in The Bay, my favorite spot and ONLY place I drink milk tea is from I-Tea. After a filling dinner at a neighboring restaurant, I was excited to see this gem. The menu is clearly posted along the wall. The offerings range from fruit teas, milk teas, hot teas, and smoothies. With the 17 different toppings available, you are able to customize your drink how you see fit. My purchases: -Litchi Fruit Green Tea (With Boba Litchi Jelly Fresh Litchi Bites) -Litchi Fruit Green Tea, minus the boba -Brown Sugar Boba Latte -Signature C1 Milk TeaWith Boba Coffee Jelly -Hokkaido Milk TeaWith Boba Egg Pudding [sub boba for grass jelly] Drinks here arrived a lot sweeter than I am used to. Hence, the 3 stars. Staff is heavy handed with the sweetener and that really muted my tea flavor. All in all, not bad but definitely not good either.

BEWARE OF SIZE SCAM They only have one size here and when you self checkout on their tablet you can upgrade to a large for +.75 cents. DO NOT UPGRADE it is the same exact amount as the small because they only carry one size beverage here! I wish they would change it because this is an actual scam, they're up charging you more for the same drink size.

My favorite is the Rainbow Milk Tea since it comes with their signature earl grey tea as well as 3 different flavors of boba! (What's not to love?!) I've tried some of the others but usually end up going back to the same order. :] Service is friendly and typically pretty quick unless they're absolutely swamped. Been coming here for while now and honestly feel like this place deserves more customers…read more Yes, the shop can feel a little run down and maybe not the cleanest compared to some newer boba spots, but their drinks genuinely slap. One thing that really sets them apart is their flavored boba. Most places use popping boba that bursts with syrup, but here the flavored boba still has the normal chewy boba texture while actually tasting flavorful, which I personally love. I'm a huge fan of their Pineapple Green Tea with Mango Boba. Sounds kind of wack on paper, but the pineapple and mango combo works surprisingly well together. Another surprise favorite was the Hazelnut Milk Tea Smoothie with boba, pudding, and milk foam. The kiosk recommended it while I was checking out and since I'm a sucker for hazelnut, I gave it a try. Ended up loving it. One thing to note is the drinks here do tend to run sweet, even at low sugar if the drink is adjustable. So if you're one of those conservative, not-too-sweet Asians, beware. Sweet toothers rejoice though. Service has always been nice too. Every once in a while they host pop-up events for the K-fandom community and support local artists by giving them a place to showcase merch and art, which I think is really cool and helps build community around the shop.

This is the only singular franchise location in the United States (at least as I'm writing this and has been like this for awhile), which is insane to me, considering that it was quite hyped back then and remains a favorite to many. Hopefully one day, they'll be more locations, but it's literally been years. In that case, I'll have visiting SoCal friends with me try. Simple and casual appearance. Love the wood accent on the counters and tables, along with the green walls and descriptions of the tea. There's a bit of it that reminds of what the old XFT location looks like from the RH location, but only just a little bit. You can order ahead for pick up and they're quite efficient. The only times there was even a semblance of a fisted wait, at least when I've gone, was due to orders of like 10-30 drinks for catering or an office boba run. Solid tea that's steeped really well. If you adjust for much lower sugar, you can enjoy the quality much better. I feel like with the influx of the boba wars (at least in SoCal), many of the Taiwanese franchises (Guiji, Chayan, UG, etc.) just don't have enough of a strong flavor to compete with their Chinese competitors, but Brian Black Tea, I think would be a strong contender if they were drafted in the SoCal boba wars. I've enjoyed all of their milk teas, but my favorite has always been the Era Milk Tea with the slight coffee taste to it and the Retro Milk Tea with the subtle roasted flavor and hint of cocoa to it. I usually get 25% sweet and it's perfect. NorCal must when I visit.
