Ez called to let me know that they found a worn part while working through the repair and I authorized that addition to the fix. I was contacted promptly when it was completed. We were unable to pick it up until Monday morning, which was not a problem. My son and I popped in and I was walked through all that was repaired. I appreciate there is no upsell, just what is needed. My son commented that his car is driving so much more smoothly now and the sounds he had been experiencing are now gone. Highly recommend!

Mechanic recommended fixes for the long road trip, we had them completed and picked up the car with seemingly no issues. We were slated to leave the next morning at 5am, so we woke up at 3am to get ready and take the dog out on a walk, where we discovered the splash guard hanging completely on the ground underneath the car (first image + video below). So we had to delay our trip out by 2 hours just to bring it back in. Told them my frustrations with having our travel delayed, and wasn't really met with any sort of apology / compensation. Finally get back out on the road, and when we arrive at our destination the next morning, we noticed a scraping noise when hitting some low bumps. Looked under the car and see that part of the guard underneath is held together with a zip tie! (Second image + video) Absolutely insane work. Completely disgusted with the shoddy work and the lack of attention + care.

Another update :( I've been going to Bending Wrenches for oil changes for the past couple of years…read moreand recently found out that tire rotation isn't included as part of their standard service. It costs an additional $10 and has to be requested separately - something I was never told during my visits. All other shops I've used include tire rotation automatically with oil changes, so this came as a surprise, especially after another tire shop pointed out uneven wear on my tires. I will now have to pay $300 to replace 2 tires early as their wear was halved due to this. Better communication from the staff would have prevented that issue. This isn't the first time I've had a problem here, but it's the one that made me decide to take my business elsewhere. I'd recommend that anyone using this shop ask up front exactly what's included in their service.

He went above and beyond by offering me a ride home and even delivering my car the next day when the work was completed. It's refreshing to find someone who genuinely cares about his customers and provides such great service. I truly appreciate his kindness, transparency, and willingness to go the extra mile. My car is only 9 years old and there's nothing special about my mirror other than being able to electronically change the angle of the mirror (no cameras, no lights, no heating, etc). Basically, it should be a cheap mirror. Then riddle me this: what costs $983.16 not including any else, literally nothing else, not the labor, not the tax, nothing? That's right! A door mirror from this place. They were going to charge me a grand total of $1,233.43. I went to another place a short drive away and they charged me a much more reasonable price of a few bucks short of $450 for the part and replacement. Absolutely no reason for a basic mirror replacement to cost me almost as much as a rent payment. It could be a supplier thing but if the other place I went to was able to get the part for $300 there's no reason this place shouldn't be able to. Absolute rip off.
