(TLDR; Was told warranty claim was denied but was never actually submitted per the manufacturer. Once it was (I asked for proof) and went through, 4 months later I was told my mattress had been sitting there for 40 days.) I went through Trailer Source for a warranty claim to replace the mattress on my Forest River travel trailer. Upon first contact with Bobby, on a Thursday in mid-February, I was told on the next Saturday afternoon (2 days later) that the claim had been denied due to the damage being normal wear and tear. Surprised at the speed the claim was turned around, and also the fact that a response was received on a Saturday, I reached out to Forest River and asked if there was a way to appeal the denial, as I didn't think the mattress cover should start coming apart at the seams after 11 nights of use. FR informed me (very, very nice woman helped me) that there was nothing to appeal because no claim had been submitted, but that should definitely be covered. Guess Bobby just didn't want to do his job that day and thought telling me it was a no-go was the best option for him. I reached back out to Bobby (I actually asked to be transferred to Bobby's supervisor, as I obviously didn't trust anything Bobby said now, but Bobby answered the phone, so I had to continue dealing with him) and asked him to file the claim (again?) and send me the claim form that was submitted. By the following week an image of the law tags attached to the mattress were requested. There are no law tags on the mattress. There are no tags on the mattress at all. None. Definitely not something I would cut off, and they never existed. For the next couple weeks I was told over and over that this image was required to know what kind of mattress it is, to which I continued to tell them they do not exist. I sent images of every inch of the mattress, and every seam of every side. Finally the claim was approved and authorization was received to place the order on 03/14/22. I knew with current supply chain issues it would likely take a while. I inquired again on 04/04/22, Bobby said he would reach out and inquire, and I never heard back from him. I decided to be patient. I emailed again on 06/15/22, and again on 07/09/22, and received no responses. On 07/13/22 I called, and Bobby told me that the mattress had arrived 06/03/22, and that he'd called me and left a message at 4:32pm on 06/03/22 to inform me. He'd called me directly before, so I know he has my correct phone number. No such call record or voicemail exists on my phone. Not to mention the fact that I emailed him directly twice since that date, to which he didn't bother to respond, and a reminder call was never placed after the mattress had been sitting there for 40 days. read more

This use to be a great, friendly place to get parts. (Wheat Ridge store) Today I went in looking for an RV water hose. There was only one customer in the store. I went to 1st desk where I was ignored, the person there continued opening boxes. I went to parts desk, one person opening boxes, was ignored. I left to go to a different store, couldn't find what I wanted so went back and walked around the store until I found hoses. Went to counter to pay, where I stood watching the guy behind counter open boxes while again being ignored, I finally asked if I could pay for the hose and a guy behind a computer at other end of counter, who I hadn't seen, said to come down there. He was extremely rude and didn't want to be bothered. I payed, he tossed me the reciept, I walked out the door when he again rudely yelled at me saying I needed to sign it. I will never go back and will never recommend the place as workers appear to not want to be bothered by customers! read more

When I arrived, Dave Hall greeted me and welcomed me to their store. He quickly checked me in and helped me to decide on a brake system. My family and I are ready to buy a new travel trailer. I am off today so I am in shorts tshirt and flip flops. I started at Ketelsen campers and got amazing service from our new friend Brad (awesome). Brad took the time to educate us on what we should look for in a Travel Trailer and was honest and very patient showing us several options many times. I went from thinking I wanted to spend 10-15 K to understnading why I could actually spend more. We told Brad we were going to shop at one more store and he was totally cool about it.......... Trailer Source: We came in and waited a minute for someone to come to us. The sales person says: * What are you looking for...... Never introduced himself or smiled. * We told him we are looking to spend about 15 K He just kept spinning a large set of keys on a lanyard never paying attention to us and it was really frustrating. * He opened a trailer and had us go in he never came in and when we asked him a question he was face in his phone and acted like we were bothering him. * there was a door you could not access behind a bed we asked "is that a door"? Uh yeah he says. * This guy should not work retail and I feel bad for the owner loosing money when he works. Moral of the story..... Unless you break down in their driveway, do NOT take your camper there! We came to Denver to take our granddaughter on her first camping trip. The camper needed minor sink and toillet repair as well as checking the heater. They had the camper for over a month. When we threatened to pick it up as is, they finally fixed it. However, they left dirt all over the inside, didn't put on the toilet seat, and even left a tube of caulk on the stove. Horrible service. read more

This is not a very well run business. Every time I call them and ask for service, I get transferred to some other department and have to tell my story again before they transfer me to service. The Service Department is like the Keystone Cops. In a tight time window, I had my pop-up towed in for some work and called later that day to find out about it. They couldn't find it. It turns out that someone received it and put it away without telling anyone. I went to pick it up the other day and they couldn't find my information for quite a while. Then, they couldn't find my keys for quite some time. They asked me if I was sure that they were dropped off and what they looked like. It turns out that they were on the Service Managers desk. Trailer Source is robbing customers blind. Went in to get a hitch for my truck with a 6 inch drop. Exact same part they sold me for 172.00 is listed for 64.00 on Amazon. I know brick and mortar can't compete with Amazon, but an over 100% markup is OUTRAGEOUS!! Then on my way out I noticed battery boxes for sale. I decided to look at the price since I had purchased one the day prior at Walmart. Exact same battery box with strap to keep it closed are 5.49 at Walmart. Not Trailer source. Their price is 21.00 for the box, but that's not enough for the Trailer Source CROOKS. They actually package the strap separately and sell it for 6.00 and some change. Nearly 30 dollars at Trailer source for what cost less than 6 dollars at Walmart. That comes out to nearly a 500% markup. Don't shop at Trailer Source...EVER!! Bought a new trailer May, 2020. Called in October to schedule service for repairs, the earliest they could get me in was Dec 5th, so I took it in on Dec 5th. It is now 5/19/21 and NOT ONE SINGLE REPAIR has been done. They actually FORGOT they had my trailer for 2 months until I called to find out the status of my repairs. My advice, DO NOT BUY FROM TRAILER SOURCE!! Once they get your money, you're on your own. Their service department is horrible, their customer service is terrible. I've even tried reaching out to our salesman several times, and to date, have not received a return phone call or email. Who forgets they have a customers vehicle for 2 months?????? First, I'm not one to write a negative review and usually search for the best of an experience. But this one has me stumped and feeling like I need to speak up. First, my wife and I are traveling full time after purchasing the trailer from Trailer Source early 2020. After traveling for 10 months straight we decided to come back to Golden to get things repaired. Knowing the back log of service work that is happening in this industry around the country, we scheduled out our March 9th service appointment back in January. During this call I explained that we live in it and only had 3 weeks to get it repaired. We dropped it off on March 9th as scheduled and again told them of our time limitations at which point they gave me the same honest answer which was they would assess it but that getting parts could be the problem if any are needed, which I understand. Over a week went by and I heard nothing so I called to learn they hadn't even looked at it. I then called daily until at last one of the service folks said he drove it into the bay himself first thing in the morning to get the work done. This guy earned the one star given in the review. The first thing was water got into the camper after the big March snow event. That wasn't their fault but when I tried to figure out where it was leaking they told me it was because the window on the side wall was open. Owning an A-Liner pop up you know this is impossible as this wall is folded beneath the roof. I asked him to have his technician look at the seams see if any silicon was needed to be replaced and he stood on his explanation that the side wall window was open. I stopped arguing as he was stuck on his position and I really just wanted my trailer back. So that was the first service thing they never addressed and my cushions and wood along the floor are sitting outside drying as I type this. Secondly, I asked them to check into why the 12 volt electrical systems weren't working. I had previously checked the battery before bringing it in and it was holding a full charge, of which I informed them. When the service rep called me back he indicated the battery was bad and needed to be replaced. Instead of debating this we agreed to the new battery. When we picked up the trailer and after paying, I immediately popped up trailer and went inside the trailer to check if the 12 volt system was working by turning on all the lights and heater fan of which none were working, just as I left it with them. I went back inside and told the service manager who then without knowing anything told me the battery was probably dead. I explained he just sold me a brand new one at which point he went and got the technician to look at it. In the end the technician had to rework some wiring but no one ever told me what was going on, no one gave me a time or any expectations. I had to search everyone down again for information and the service manager was back at his computer doing whatever was more important than the customer. And worse, there was no apology from anyone which was really unprofessional. Zero customer service other than to take my money. The other work was to replace the bunggees used on the roof which looked like they globbed silicon all over it to cover something up. I'm still not quite sure. Several things for management: 1. Teach customer service. No one wants to stand there and hear how busy they are over and over. We all have problems and yours shouldn't be mine. 2. If you don't know, don't BS the customer because the customer might know more than you think. In this case they sold me and I purchased a battery I likely didn't need. 3. Apologize if things don't work. Your quality issue of releasing my trailer still not working was an extreme inconvenience to me and everyone there seemed way to busy to care about me, the customer. I know there are good people working there. We have had several issues over our travels and they have been quite responsive to helping us telephonically, which I appreciate. I truly hope there will be a team meeting at some point to educate this staff on the importance of the customer and not the amount of work they can't get to. They should be thankful. read more

Took our camper into trailer source, an older hybrid that we purchased a couple of years ago. The guys and gals at trailer source were awesome. Josh kept us up with everything they needed to do to get our camper ready to go for the season as well as fix issues, put a new power awning on her. Overall had a positive experience. Campbell was our main point of contact. He was helpful and polite. He tried to answer all the questions I had. Wasn't pushy and didn't try to upsell us on anything which we appreciated. Credit process was easy and they finance through local ENT credit union. Brian the finance guy was really nice and helpful as well. Everyone had masks on for Covid protocol. I was a little hesitant after reading some reviews, but they seem like a nice family owned business. They let you put down a deposit and will refund it if you decide not to get it. These guys really jerked me around. I am not a happy camper. No pun intended! Last month I contacted Trailer Source regarding some warranty work I needed done on my 2016 Fleetwood Bounder. I spoke with Josh from the service department, and told him that I live in my RV full time so I would not be able to leave it with them overnight. He told me they were very busy due to the season and recent hail storms, but they could accommodate me in a month. We scheduled an appointment for one month out and he said if I got the part from Fleetwood ahead of time, they would have me in and out in a couple hours. Great! So, I get the part from Fleetwood and I take off a half day from work so I could bring the RV to them. I call Trailer Source the day before my appointment to confirm time and arrangements. I speak with Josh again and all is well. I show up to Trailer Source 20min early the day of my appointment and the place is a circus. First of all, they have this huge hill leading into their parking lot. There are tons of scrapes on it from RVs bottoming out on the way in. What the hell kind of RV place has an entrance like that?! After maneuvering my 35' coach in such a way so I don't bottom out, I end up in a mess of other trailers and RV's blocking any sort of path to the service entrance. I'm parked half in the lot and half in the entrance. I walk into the service entrance and the inside is just as crazy as out. There is nobody working the desk and employees are walking around back and forth completely ignoring the customers waiting. Another customer and I are standing there for about 10 minutes and finally someone asks us who was first, then walks away. Another few minutes go by and they finally start asking what we need. The guy working behind the counter tells me that checking people in isn't his job, but he'll do his best. I give him my name and coach make/model and tell him whats wrong. First he tells me they don't do warranty on my brand RVs and that they don't usually do the type of service that is needed... What?!?!?!?! I go over the situation with the guy once more and finally he corrects himself about the warranty, but says they don't usually work on the item I need fixed. Great, that's really reassuring. Then he tells me its going to be a day or two before its done. A day or two?!?!?! A new person walks over who happens to be Josh, as I'm telling this guy the situation. Josh starts to give me the same song and dance he gave me over the phone about it being busy season and about the hail storm and they're super busy yada yada yada. Finally after arguing with them for a few minutes they say they can try to get it in today, but it wouldn't be for another 3-4hrs before they START, and there are no promises that it will be done today. That was it. I told them they lost my business and I was out of there. That wasn't the end of it though. There was a friggin' maze of trailers and motor homes between me and the exit! It took me 10 minutes and help from 2 bystanders to get out of the goddamn place! Had some other work done there on my car hauler, was very happy with the work, and have purchased quite a few parts from them over the years. This time...totally different story. Had a broken leaf spring on my car hauler, called to get it in to get fixed and got an appointment (October 25th) to bring it in about 2 weeks later (November 6th). Not ideal, but good shops typically have full schedules. Drop the trailer off on the scheduled day of my appointment, was told it would take 3-4 days to get it repaired. No problem. Called a week later (11/12) and was told by a service adviser that the mechanic was working on my trailer now and it would be finished up that afternoon or early the next morning. Called the next afternoon (11/13) and was told by a different adviser that they were just about to pull my trailer in and start working on it. WTH?! I drove directly over there to figure out what the deal was. After waiting for 5+ minutes at the "service" desk Service advisor RJ appeared. He confirmed that after having my trailer for a week and being lied to on the phone the previous day that they had not touched my trailer. Needless to say I cancelled my work order and had my trailer brought up to take elsewhere. No apology, no "what can we do to make this right", made zero effort to correct the situation or retain my business, absolutely nothing from RJ. Guy needs to find a new line of work or have some training. I am a small business owner and this is a trailer that I use 3-4 times a week- sometimes more for my business. Trailer Source has cost me 3 weeks of down time to not even touch my trailer. Won't be doing business with this company again and will discourage anyone else from going there. read more

Josh and his team, Charles, Brad and Brandon showed us how to work all of the stuff they fixed, and even went above and beyond helping us fix a light problem while we were hooking our car to our camper to take home, that was likely caused by the company that installed our hitch (I wish we had known about Trailer Source when we did that!). High expectations, bitter lows and disappointments. I purchased a trailer from a private party. It was originally purchased from these guys as indicated by the stickers, so in need of some improvements, I sought them out. I incidentally turned into the new sales lot instead of parts, and while pulling the trailer was greeted by a scowl by a salesman. Seeing my struggle with finding a place to park, he merely walked away. As I entered the building I saw a sign that directed people to service and parts across the street. I confirmed the location and asked jokingly if they had more room for trailers over there, the salesman (absent any sense of humor or smile) said "I don't know I haven't been over there today". Rather callous and uncaring, but I understand I wrecked his day by my inquiry (wth?). I went over to the service and parts area, and was again faced with the challenge of where to park (for goodness sake, its a trailer shop, no place to park a trailer!? to quote-"CMON MAN!" Regardless I went inside-nice and clean, well organized, building my expectations..soon to be crushed. The parts guy was on the phone so I waited patiently (no really, just hanging out :-). After a few minutes (still no problem) another guy came from the back and asked if he could help. I told him I wanted to discuss ramp options for this trailer that I have...the guy on the phone interrupted and said "We only have what we have in back", which of course I have never seen their back...the gentlemen that came out said "We'll discuss some options here with you in a minute" obviously waiting for the guy on the phone to get off. Instead, still on the phone, this guy at the parts counter said "we don't really have anything, you'll have to get it custom made" and went back to his call. I asked where, and he gave me three random letters, that's it. no location, no name, no city, no state, no help, no direction. He added "You'll have to know what you are looking for". I told him that I knew exactly (but looking for options) and that it was on the website. His reply (and I'm not kidding here) "We have a lot of crazy stuff on the website that we don't have". These guys were obviously determined not to gain a customer, but to get me out of their store, why I have absolutely no idea. Apparently, a request for service proved to be just too much for this group. I asked for the letters again, and he repeated them, I had to ask "where" and he just gave me a city. Mercy, what great help. I have 4 trailers, and a lifetime of needs for service, parts, and new purchases. I can tell you that I will never, and encourage all of you, to drop your expectations of anything positive from Trailer Source, you will be bitterly disappointed. Now I'm headed out to take those stickers off, they don't need any recommendations AT ALL. Take it elsewhere, you will not regret it. read more

Awful experience. After bringing my trailer back after a botched seal replacement, they sat on it for almost a month. My pop-up was no longer pop-upable, they basically rendered my trailer useless. But they had already been paid so they, Trailer Source in Wheatridge Colorado did not care. After three weeks I called and demanded that they give me a date to pick it up. I don't live anywhere close to Wheatridge, so getting to Trailer Source is an all day affair. I arrived on the date and it wasn't ready. They haven't even looked at it yet. We called back a week later and they said come pick it up, there's nothing wrong with it! Really! It took you three weeks to even look at it and when you did there's was nothing wrong, right! I come to pick it up today, and my pop-up still doesn't pop-up. When I brought it back in I told the dude at the counter that Trailer Source can either replace the seals or modify the latches, this request was apparently not communicated to the dudes who actually do the work. I know this because the managerial type dude who came out to talk to me was ready to wash his and Trailer Sources hands of the whole SNAFU. He was basically saying that even though I could not latch my pop-up at the moment they had successfully popped it up and they had done all they could do, implying that I was a weakling and it was my fault that I could not pop-up what was formally pop-upable. I repeated my request, and they obviously failed at the first option, so they went with the second option right there, in front of me. I had to supervise the latch modifications myself or it would have never have gotten done. Some jr. mechanic comes out to do the modification and in the process of trying to figure out what to do he tried to latch the pop-up and he couldn't even do it. Once he figures it out this kid takes 20 minutes to do the modification - 20 minutes of work that could have taken place four weeks ago if anybody there had bothered to pay attention!!! And when I was able to pop-up my pop-up by myself, like I could before I brought it in, I said "ok", and these two dudes, the managerial type and jr. mechanic, just turned around and walked away, no apology, just a sarcastic "have-a-nice-day" from the manager dude. Awful and the people who work there... garbage, except the jr. mechanic, kid took care of it in 20 minutes. The Trailer Source in Wheatridge Colorado need to let that kid run things, anything would be an improvement. read more

I purchased a PJ Trailer from these guys and within the first two months I had 3 separate malfunctions. I took it in for warranty work and they told me "their tests didn't show any problems". So they refused to fix 2 of the problems. So now I'm stuck with a tilting trailer that doesn't stay locked in the down position and a plug that isn't compatible with any mate you can get at any major auto parts store. Both were easy/cheap fixes but they decided neither were worth their time. Won't ever buy a PJ trailer again. Nor will I ever shop at Trailer Source. Not with all the other choices out there. I will say their sales people are super friendly. Just not very helpful in this situation. read more

DO NOT USE TRAILER SOURCE. If I could give them zero stars I would. Long story short, we took our trailer in for some electrical work and everything was working. They were supposed to fix one thing and ended up replacing a bunch of parts and wiring and now our brake lights and turn signals don't work. To top it off everyone there was very rude and when my husband came to pick up the trailer asked if the brake lights etc were working and they just shrugged their shoulders and wouldn't even go out and check for him. This place is a joke! Called & asked if they had a trailer I wanted. They said yes come on down. I said are you sure? because I'm over an hour away. Got there asked to see the trailer. Oh sorry we sold that one. Seriously! This has to be the worst sales team on the planet. No one in place wanted to help me find another trailer or order one. I guess if it's not there they don't want to work for it. I wish I could blow off $50,000. Save your time & look some ware else. read more

Recently purchased a 5' x 10' single axle cargo trailer. We were extremely impressed with the excellent customer service Anthony Spilker (Sales Manager) and Matt Dunn (Sales) provided. They treated me, my wife, and our three little girls like royalty. Truly, customer service is a core value of this establishment. All of our questions were answered, and through their consultative style, we ended up with the right equipment for our needs. On August 12, 2019, I took my new trailer to the Trailer Source service department for a number of items that were wrong with my trailer. The sales department is a dream when you are in the market. BUT if you have a problem and take it to their service department on Tabor Street, they are not responsive and have an attitude of we'll get to your problem when we get to your problem. They have no sense of urgency for the customer and their problems. Today, October 25, 2019, I picked-up my trailer. The trailer was with them for 74 days!!!! When I picked it up, they were attentive taking $139.00 to winterize. When they brought my trailer, I asked for a service person to do a walk through with me and they refused. They had let my battery die and then blamed my pickup for the problem. They finally brought out a battery charger and walked away. I would encourage anyone looking to buy a RV or Trailer make sure that in addition to a sales department that wants your money, they also want to resolve you problems. Would I recommend Trailer Source to any person looking to purchase a trailer, at this time no. read more

After my extremely disappointing experience with Trailer Source of Wheat Ridge Colorado I would not recommend them for working on a child's tricycle, much less an expensive RV. They had my RV for two months and never got around to doing the service I had requested. To make matters worse they did not unplug my TPMS booster from my batteries like I had asked them to do. I forgot to unplug the booster when I dropped it off. I called Martin in the service department and he assured me he would go out and unplug it for me. When I arrived two months later to pick up my unserviced RV my two new deep cell batteries were completely depleted. After recharging the batteries I realized they had sulfated and would no longer hold a complete charge and had to be replaced. I made my appointment for service in January and dropped off my RV in late March. Two months later, after telling me twice they would be getting to it soon, they still had not pulled my RV in for the requested service. This was by far the worst service I've ever experienced from an RV dealership. read more

I was completely disappointed with Trailer Source! I called to make an appointment to have our RV de-winterized. I called 2 weeks in advance. When I made the appointment I specially told them we had to pick it up on a certain day because we were leaving out of town. We also asked for them to put on a mud guard and check one of our windshield corners. We dropped if off on a Monday and gave them over 1 week with our camper. We told them we would pick it up on the following Tuesday. They told us they had a specific guy that could look at our windshield and they would be back in touch with us, if it could be fixed. They also stated everything else would be done within a couple of days. Didn't hear anything from them on the windshield. Week later, I called Tuesday at lunch to get status and to tell them we were picking it up. Come to find out they hadn't even started on our camper and they never called the windshield guy for a review. I was upset! Our camper sat there for over a week. We had to pick it that day! Called back at 3pm still hadn't started. We showed up at 4:30. They just finished. They did a horrible job on our mud guard. I specially told them to put it back further underneath the camper. Instead the installed it right in front of our tow package. We could not get to any of the plugs. We check the water and it still had pink in it, so they did not completely clean our system and of course, they ignored the windshield! We had to cut part of our mud guard to get to the plugs. As far as Im concern, these guys are a bunch of idiots. I will never take our camper back! Don't use them! Better places in town. read more
