Shipped out same day which was awesome! Ended up being told I needed front coils by my mechanic, as well. Called back and Hugo got me set up, they were shipped out next business day. I recommend calling instead of placing order online due to not knowing what is or is not in stock, which is a bit inconvenient. Cant speak to the 'kits' they sell or the durability of their product yet, but Hugo was great and knowledgeable getting me the few items I needed! Toy tech parts are great, but the owner or manager of the company has a complete lack of morales. Shortly after having work done, I began experiencing steering issues. This was later found to be the result of loose lug nuts, 6 out of ten with one being sheared of completely. Instead of excepting fault, I was told that since I had another professional opinion, they were not liable, although Toytec were the only ones to touch my vehicle. My new ( to me) Land Cruiser needed to get rid of the 20" wheels the previous owner had installed, as well as get a decent set of A/T tires. Mike helped install a set of Icon wheels that are perfect, and General ATX tires that got a great workout during the next day's snowstorm. Run, assembly problem with channel in lower coil platform, facing forward. Everything shoots up into the seal of the shock. I contacted them and heard nothing back after ordering 2 rebuild kits. I checked my account this morning and they double charged me on my card. I called and spoke with Hugo the manager and he had nothing for me. He doesnt even have a builder in house to fix anything. I have made a mistake doing business with Toytec. The customer service is awful, hands down the worst I have ever had. I ordered a lift kit for my Tacoma in early October, expecting it by the end of the month, like the sales rep told me. After not getting any confirmation of my order, I emailed asking about the status of my lift around mid-November. After a week of waiting for a response, I'm told I now have to wait until January. Immediately, I sent an email saying I wanted to cancel the order. Through the course of a week, I have sent 3 emails and have called 4 times asking about a refund and I haven't gotten a response. I am being disregarded. They don't care about resolving the issue or taking care of me as a customer. Don't make the same mistake as me. My experience so far has not been to pleasant. I ordered a front suspension for my vehicle that is broken. Sent 4 emails to the company to verify the status of my order and never received a response. I ended up calling for them to tell me My suspension is in back order and is coming but no ETA. Not sure why the website will allow me to order something that is not in stock. Now my vehicle is sitting on jacks and I'm with no suspension until they get it in then ship it regular ground. They have an outstanding team of experience off roaders who give honest advice. I own a 2017 Toyota Tacoma off road and purchased a toytec boss 2.0 lift kit. Their price is better than most online websites. I purchased my kit with SPC UCAs, which is a must for off roading, and can't be happier. I recently took my rig out to Venture Off-road meet up and was surprised to see half the rigs with my same suspensions. It fits the moderate off roaders needs for sure. The ride couldn't be better. DO NOT order from this company!! Ordered parts for a lift for a 4Runner back in early September. Never arrived, and was strung around saying that it was being forged/waiting for the factory. Called the end of November to figure out what was going on after never receiving the requested refund, just to be give a long story about how the company was dissolved and was owned by the bank, who has my money and there is nothing they could do about it. They said that I'd have a refund by December 6th at the very latest, but of course no refund ever showed up again. I called again, just to be strung around again and be told very aggressively told that they didn't know who the bank was that owned them and there was no one to talk to and that I was wasting my time calling. After I asked why they still had their website up knowing that they haven't been able to fulfill orders since march, he couldn't answer my question but instead accused me of screaming at him. Mind you, I'd been very calm the entire conversation and told him that I didn't even want to talk to them, I just wanted to be able to get ahold of the bank who was holding my money. It's amazing how time changes. I went from slammed Acuras to lifted Toyotas. Go figure. I'm glad there's this internet thing now. I just go on the line to buy stuff and it magically shows up at my door. While I've bought a bunch of stuff from these guys, what really stood out was their service. I needed some UCAs for my old 3rd gen Runner. While in transit, and as luck would have it, I get rear ended on the freeway. I'm okay. The truck, not so much. I decide to part ways with it. I explain my situation to the fine folks at Toytec and we work it out to my satisfaction. No hesitation to recommend these guys and gals. I have purchased several lifts, wheels, tires, upper control arms, front diff drop, bump stops, shackles, rear differential breather, bumper shims, Adams polish cleaner, shift knob, tow rope, and various other off-road accessories. They have performed many services on my trucks over the years as well including installing the lift, wheels, tires, shackles, tire balance, alignment and coilover rebuild. The customer service I received after the sale was NON EXISTENT, and why should it be? They after all had my money and it wasn't going to be given back so BOLT me. As many have noted already. Once you've made your purchase, the customer service comes to a halt. Our situation regarded corrosion on their coilovers that we'd been trying to solve for about a year. They clearly didn't care that the product was failing since they constantly offered to sell me replacements. But the icing on the cake was this... I had been emailing their support and had been told the corrosion issue I was having is rare. When I called and spoke to Carson, he accidentally informed me that the corrosion was so common that the strut itself was redesigned to address the issue. Even when I confronted them about this blatant contradiction, I was still forced to buy new coilovers. They did, however, reluctantly give me $50 off. But after being into this lift for about $3500 (parts & labor), 50 bucks is a slap in the face. read more

They don't stand behind their product. I bought their ultimate lift package where I upgraded to their 2.5" coilovers. Both shocks started leaking about a year after installation. I never abuse my truck and I mostly have hwy miles on the odometer. When I brought it to their attention they said it was two months out of warranty and that I had to pay to get the shocks rebuilt. I had the crappy OEM shocks for years and they never leaked. Do not buy from Toytec! read more

Very disappointed with Toy Tec. I bought a boss lift for my new 4runner at the end 2014. Right after the install the front shocks were squeeking. Called toy tec and was told they had a bad batch of Boss shocks and that I could ship back the shocks for a replacement set. I live in Hawaii and shipping is crazy not only that I had to pay my mechanic to remove the shocks, take them out of the springs and reinstall the new ones. Since the cost was too much I decided to libe woth the squeek. A year and a half later one of the shocks is leaking. My 4runner is driven on pavement and has only 8000 miles. I called Toy Tec to see if they could help me out with this situation and only offered a 10 percent discount not even dealer cost. I have 3 toy tec lifts on my vehicles never again will I buy or promote Toy Tec. Stay away from a company that wont back their product up! read more

Hugo picked out a lift kit for my land cruiser. He didn't listen to what i wanted out of a new suspension, and gave me a kit that cost a ton, and was incompatible with how my truck is set up. When I complained that my previously smooth land cruiser felt like a pickup truck after I installed the new suspension, he just told me "let's keep it positive." The suspension he recommended to me will only feel right if I add about half a ton of accessories. It's way too stiff. I wish I would have never walked in there. And of course, no refunds after I installed his poorly selected kit. So I'm out nearly $4k, my truck rides like shit, and Hugo won't do anything to rectify the situation. read more

While there they identified a problem with my lug nut thread length. They called the dealer for me, explained the issue, got the dealer to agree. Would not recommend this company to anyone. I purchased the ultimate lift with boss shocks for my Tundra. the rear shocks don't come with bushings! i called toytec about this and they said to just use the originals. This is ridiculous to begin with, i paid over 2k for this lift i should get a new part. The previous owner of my truck had aftermarket shocks so i don't have OE bushings and will have to spend an additional $120 to get bushings from Toyota. I called back to toytec to bring this issue to their attention and their manager, David, became defensive and told me in short that's basically my problem. In summary, the sales staff is great and most parts seem to be quality but you may receive an incomplete kit and if you have issues they don't care because they've already made their sale read more

I went into Toytec because my GX 470 had an extremely rough ride. Took Mike the manager out and he noticed the bucking sensation as well and recommended I do the coil conversion from airbags and go from there. Left the truck there and received a call a couple of hours later and was told my vehicle was ready. However, when they were removing the bags, shocks etc. they noticed the bags were just fine, but my shocks were completely done for. So, they said they didn't do the conversion to save me some money and told me to just do it when it is needed to. On top of that they replaced my shocks with a new 4runners that a previous customer replaced when they lifted the vehicle and didn't want their parts back. Almost brand new shocks were put on and I was not charged for them. All i paid for was the labor and have an amazing ride now. Mike and team are so on point I would not consider going anywhere else for future problems/upgrades. I really cannot recommend going to Toytec Lifts enough. read more

Well I have been buying parts from these guys for a few years now. I have seen some people come and go. They all have been very helpful from Hugo, Bij and Carson. I was headed there one day in my hybrid car to look at some stuff for my Offroad rig and got a flat tire. As I was pulling into the lot is when I noticed it and one of their newer employee saw me and didn't know me, told me I had a flat and to give him a sec and he would come out with some tools to change the tire for me. From the guys in the back of the house to the front they have provided some great customer service. Congratulations on the new location and the continued growth.
