If you need a lift kit or a bumper or new tires, this is the place for you. If you need a reliable responsible mechanic, who knows how to fix things and solve problems, stay as far away as you can. They absolutely FORGOT to change my plugs and wires even though they suggested the OEM parts and that almost lead to me blowing my engine and then charged me to fix it. I also just lost $100 deposit because I missed my appointment, like they're a dentist office. I know everybody loves this guy but he straight screwed me over. Just pay attention and get everything in writing and make sure they do the work they say they'll do because they fucked up my truck and let me leave. No problem. Thanks for the payment. All he cares about is getting paid. I paid him a small fortune over the course of a year . He's also stupid expensive and just over priced. Especially for all the mistakes they made. Service beyond my wildest expectations. They dealt with my budget changing, part requirement changes as work was performed (problems with my suspension revealed as they got deeper into it), and took it all in stride. They worked me in 10 days earlier than my original appointment, and within the span of three days (at my last minute change of plan), got hard to find, usually out of stock parts directly from a manufacturer by driving directly there and calling in favors (within 24 hours of finding out that we'd need these parts), installed a full suspension lift, upper control arms (without charging me for labor), fixed a cracked bumper, gave me a high clearance bumper cut, cut off and replaced a seized lower control arm, put on new wheels and tires, and got it aligned. During this time, they also took the time to diagnose an issue I was having with my 4WD system before I took it to another shop. They did this free of charge to ensure that I wouldn't accidentally spend money on unnecessary repairs later. Upon finding that I was rubbing on a part that I hadn't originally expected to rub on, they took me in instantly to fix it. Despite having just closed, they had me in and out quickly and for no charge. Jacob and Rachel were also perfectly transparent during the entire process, helping me make the best decisions as issues came up and ensuring that I would have long-lasting parts. They are genuinely the most knowledgable people I have talked to about my 4Runner. While I was in the office, Rachel was doing in-depth research on the differences in suspension components on an imported RHD FJ80 diesel as it compared the domestic gas models. That kind of commitment is exactly what can be expected here. I've already recommended Toy-Crawlers to multiple fellow Toyota owners. Also, it's important to note that I got some free stickers. I have gone to many shops to have my Tacoma worked on and Toy Crawlers is far and away the most fair and friendly shop I have ever dealt with. They are a small local private shop and they do their best trying to fit everyone in but you need to understand that with only 3 people working it is sometimes hard for them to answer the phone all the time. I purchased a lift, at a higher price than I could get from toytec direct in Denver. I always try to do my part to support local small business. I installed the lift and I had a nearly 1" lean to the driver side. I went over to ask what could be done and the owner told me the front struts were designated for one side or the other. I looked them over quite well when I installed them but never saw the marking. A simple acknowledgement of this at the time of pick up would have been tremendous. Instead, at the time of pick up, as well as at the time of inquiry, the owner seemed in a huge rush to shuffle me out of the shop. This tiny bit of information would have saved me 3 hours of work as well as another $115 alignment. Such a shame you shop at small business to do the right thing and this happens.
