a man preparing food in a restaurant

I absolutely loved the food and service. Everything tasted homemade and fresh. I was given a sample of the falafel and it was delicious! Just some notes, the menu pictured, which is being used, does not have the new prices. I didn't know until after I paid. The online price appears to be wrong as well. I am not saying it was wrong to raise prices in a wonderful new location, but somehow let customers know ahead of time. Also, one item was left off my combo plate. I ordered the Veggie Feast Platter and there was no Tabbouleh. I asked and was immediately given some, but I'm not sure if the item was simply forgotten or if it no longer comes with this menu item. I gave Mediterranean Combo a full 5 stars, because the food is flavorful and fresh, the service is great and I am definitely going back.

The environment was very warm and friendly, and the workers are very sweet. Food is BEYOND amazing, this is my go to spot for hospital visits. Highly recommend!

Chicken over Rice Platter with pink sauce, amazing

I absolutely love this place. Since I work close to here I come here for lunch sometimes. I have never had a bad meal here. The chicken over rice with the addition of the pink sauce is so delicious. They also have very good falafel and there pita and hummus is amazing. Yummy baklava. Standard take out counter with a few window seats. There is online ordering too. Overall of on marshals street, a great place to get takeout.

One of the few spots on Marshall that's open late night. I got a gyro and my dad got a gyro salad and smoothie. The smoothie was made with fresh fruit, however my dad said it needed to be chilled more as it was room temp. His gyro salad was pretty disappointing. It was small with very few toppings and meat. Loaded with sauce/dressings. My gyro was fine so no complaints there. For the price of this place, the food is just okay and portions are small.

Pina colada and mango juice - SO GOOD!

Went for the first time the other day, and the falafel sandwich was really good! Only downside is not much seating inside

For drinks they have a good selection of beers on tap, usually 10-20, from local and national breweries. The server offered me a sample before I fully committed on a beer I had a question about and I appreciated being able to try it before committing to a full glass. The Evergreen's menu itself is accessed through a QR code where their full list of options and specials are listed. My group opted to share the beer fries and they were taaaasty, pillowy soft, crunchy, and amazingly well seasoned. The vegetarian options are a regular part of the restaurant and the fried tofu I had was genuinely satisfying and well done. My cajun pasta was maybe a touch over but I was okay with it since it had my condiment obsession of chili crisp in it. The menu is well marked for dietary needs. A great thing of note is that they have women's, men's, AND an all-gender bathroom. I appreciate the inclusion in the food and restaurant itself. Car parking is street parking, it's accessible via the Centro bus system, and there is an artistic broken-chain shaoed bike rack just across the street from the restaurant. My group was happy with the prices and service for an early Wednesday dinner in a wintry March.

My partner and I chose to split the herb fries, burnt end chicharrones, and the brussels. I thought the herb fries were delightfully crisp with great flavor. The sweet & spicy smokey sauce that was provided with it was a bit tangy. I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me! You'll definitely have to taste it for yourself. The burnt end chicharrones left more to be desired. Both my partner and I thought they were dry and not tender. Also, there was something about the flavor that we did not care for. I absolutely love burnt ends from BBQ joints, and this was the first time we've ordered chicharrones so I don't have something to compare them to, but I'd suggest trying them elsewhere. As for the brussels, when we first got to the restaurant our friends were sharing them. We tried one bite and knew we had order a whole plate for ourselves! They were literally the best brussel sprouts we've ever had. The roasted garlic aioli and grana cheese were topped on perfectly cooked brussels which I would go back for. I highly suggest checking out The Evergreen, go through their beer menu, and find a new favorite plate.

We were on the way to the airport from Corning, but our original dinner destination was closed on…read moreMonday. Searching for food options on the road, Raj Saffron bubbled up as an option. After taking some neighborhood streets, we arrived at the location and parked in their small lot. There was room for perhaps for 6-7 cars. Each space was labeled for whether it was for the restaurant or not. Entering, we were greeted and seated. We had about 1 hour and 14 minutes before boarding, so the staff were very accommodating and pointed out what could be made quickly (basically everything except their tandoori). They also answered questions about gluten. We ended up getting aloo tikki chaat and a lamb shank masala. They provided chickpea flour crisps with mint-cilantro and tamarind chutney. They also brought us their complimentary chai tea, which was very nice and satisfying. Their chaat was well-balanced, gluten-free (the crispies are made with chickpea flour), and it had pomengranate, chickpeas, and potatoes. The pile was dressed with yogurt, tamarind chutney, and mint chutney. Their lamb shank masala came bone-in with the curry sauce surrounding it. The lamb was well cooked, and mostly moist and tender, though there were parts that were dry. Both dishes were well-adorned, which was a nice touch. Best of all, however, was how exemplary all the staff were at the restaurant. They exuded a wonderful calmness and hospitality. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in Syracuse.

I've never eaten here in person but have ordered delivery and take out multiple times and feel that the portion sizes are well worth the cost. My recommendations absolutely include the Saffron Special Biriyani which was incredibly flavorful and had SO MUCH different proteins in it and the Lamb Shank Masala. I'm used to many places only giving the lamp shank and nothing else but Raj Saffron House gives lamb shank with multiple pieces of lamb as well. It was incredibly delicious and tender. The chicken saag and the lamb karahi are also tasty! Best Indian food in cuse!
