Dropping the kiddo back to school and decided to grab a late lunch before heading back home. This is a great spot. The menu is not overwhelming and everything was served hot. I don't know what the "salsa" is that they serve with the hummus, but they should sell it. We had a new waitress and it being her first day she did remarkably well. The place was quiet for a Sunday afternoon but they have nice music and games on the television. I can't really speak to the noise level, but it is a nice sized place with a pretty nice bar. I imagine it would be nice on a game day! You should try the hummus and the lamb burger. Both 5/5. read more

Today was my first visit to Mediterranean Breeze and I found this restaurant to be very pleasing. The food was prepared to perfection and has delightful flavors. One year strong and this place is STILL our go-to. In the past year, we've tried a few different things and everything has been absolutely amazing. I cannot say enough about how good this restaurant is and how grateful I am to have them in our community. The prices have gone up a bit in the last year, but it's worth it. I mean, LOOK at how stacked the gyro and the kofta wrap is!!! Look at how full the sampler platter is! This is #1 on our rotation for when we order out. It's definitely a Gainesville gem. read more

My wife and I were craving Greek food and chose this place because of the 4.9 Yelp rating. Unfortunately, it was extremely disappointing. Our appetizers took about 20 minutes, and our entrees took over an hour. The pita was hard and stale, my wife's chicken wrap was awful, and my Greek salad looked old. The chicken kabobs were some of the worst chicken I've ever had. We were so disappointed that we left and went to Publix to buy food to cook ourselves. This may not look like much with the guys smoking out front, and the strip mall location, but home made recipes from the "old country ", hummus that's fantastic and the falafel was delicious ( family recipe) Gluten-free options considering most of the menu is gluten free. Just mention it to the folks there and they will take care of you. We were just passing through to rescue an English Mastiff, but would drive back for that salad. Omg, this was a great find while camping on Lake Lanier one evening. I've been to Greece, and this is some of the best Mediterranean food I've had since that trip. You need to get the falafel app which has their hummus (which is ridiculous), and split the Greek salad since it's huge, and then finish with the sampler platter and you have a meal for two for under $50! The service was great and the food came fast! Real low key vibe, and some sort of elevator music in the background...but other than that a great place to eat! read more

Food just fantastic. Started with falafel that was obviously from scratch. I had the chicken kabobs: tasty and moist. Rob had sampler kabobs just as good. He's gluten free which was not a problem, the server understood. Ambience isn't the best, but the service was as stellar as the food. If we lived here, this would be a staple. I cannot say enough good things about this place. From the moment you enter, it is very casual and welcoming. Sit wherever you want; they'll be right with you. The menu is small, which allows them to master all items. Every time we go, we are sure to order the Hummus, and the baba gahnoush. It comes with plenty of pita, and this amazing pepper relish. It's spicy, but not too spicy, and since it's on the side - you can add as much or a little as you want. I'm not normally a fan of lamb - but the lamb burger is delicious. It's very flavorful, and although you can tell its lamb - it's not overwhelming. The burger comes with fries but skip the ketchup and use the lamb burger sauce on your fries as well, you won't be sorry. The pita wraps are fresh, and very filling. I must also give a shoutout to the chicken burger. I think the only thing I have tried are the Shrimp dishes. The service is wonderful. The owner makes sure to acknowledge his customers, and it feels good to support a local business run by people that take good care of their customers. They often bring refills before they're needed, and clear dishes right away. Overall, it is a fantastic restaurant, with good prices, and I look forward to going again soon! read more

Authentic Mediterranean! Yummy yummy! Even though I am observing keto, I was served 1/2 hummus 1/2 babaganoush and they gave me cucumber slices to replace the pita. The Greek Salad with Gyro meat was delicious and very fresh. The service was excellent. Our server was very welcoming. There was a group there playing cards or some sort of gathering, looked to be having a nice get-together.
