They are absolutely amazing. Patient, kind, calm and thorough. I have never felt more comfortable in a dentist's chair than I have here. My only reason for docking a star is a small billing problem-- which they did resolve in my favor when I called. Overall, a solid dentist office that I will definitely continue to go to.

Instead, she was very honest about my options. You can tell Dr. Diana truly cares to get to know her patients, She's so pleasant I don't think I could change her for anyone else. Oh and the Decor of the place is absolutely beautiful and tranquil. They had Nature shots playing when I sat down, so I got my teeth cleaned with a very zen background. YES! Total win.

I, like most sane people, hate going to the dentist but as a sane person, I know I need to go so I do. Dr. P & her staff make going to the dentist (dare I say it) a pleasurable experience. Dr. P has a great personality and makes you feel at ease from the moment you first meet her. I've had other dentists in the past that made me feel like I was in a lab and that made the entire experience uncomfortable. Not at Dr. P's office. Her staff are all great (especially Eddy) and make you feel right at home. Everyone is professional and really great at what they do. I recommend Dr. P to all my friends whenever they mention needing a new dentist. She's simply fantastic and takes all the stress and drama out of going to the dentist. Go and see for yourself. Walking to pick up lunch one day, I passed Sodini dental on Oakton, and knowing that I needed to get back to the dentist and looked up their reviews to see if this would be a good place to maybe try and become a new patient. I slid down a slippery slope through Covid and since, after moving away from my previous dentist and some extensive and ongoing health issues impacted my life. I called and was able to make an appointment for a couple months out - I was pleasantly surprised that they were taking new patients and that I didn't have to wait that long in the scheme of dr's offices for a new patient appointment. They do send text reminders as well which I appreciated. Doré at the front provided my new patient paperwork and checked me in. She was nice and efficient. Therese was my hygienist and I am so grateful and lucky that she got my appointment. I was transparent and disclosed it had been almost 7 years since my last dental appointment. I had been diagnosed with several conditions that are ongoing that have impacted my entire life tremendously, and paired with Covid and moving, time passed so quickly until we were here. Therese was patient and kind and made me feel incredibly heard. I know many people (myself included) who have anxiety build as time passes fearing judgment from dentists when we finally do make it in, and I need to stress so clearly here that Therese was so understanding, empathetic, and validating, especially with consideration to my ongoing health struggles. I was immediately so relieved and relaxed to continue with the visit AND ongoing dental care. We did a whole slew of x-rays since it had been so long since my last, and we also decided periodontal scalings were appropriate for cleaning my teeth and getting me back on track as well. Therese was communicative and gentle throughout the entire appointment and stressed my comfort over and over. We did split the scalings into two appointments, and I came back a week later for the second half of the cleaning. They made sure to book me with Therese at my request. I cannot articulate clearly enough how much the staff here made sure I was comfortable through my appointments. Unheard of in my previous dental office experiences. Dr. Sam saw me for my exam and she is incredibly kind, my experience with her was also very positive. I'm so grateful to have accidentally found an office with so much empathy and kindness in addition to professionalism, efficient administrative staff, and a very clean office. I know Sodini Dental has been a part of the community for a long time, and I selfishly hope they continue to be so. My insurance is out of network with the office, and I knew this going in to my appointment, and agreed to out of network costs. Out of network costs are generally not cheap, this was no exception, however billing and payment were both easy and transparent. We set up my next appointments for this year before I left from my second visit, and I was able to pay my balance without issue. Thank you Sodini Dental for a great and easy experience!

Prior to the appointment I received e-documents to complete (normal paperwork), multiple appointment reminder texts, and confirmed insurance coverage. Upon arrival, I was greeted very friendly by the receptionist and was escorted back ~5 minutes later. I emailed previous oral history, x-rays so only needed to take a few x-rays and then Dr. Tilden came in to complete the cleaning. He said everything looked good, I'm just use to more scraping and cleaning (maybe they are just more OCD) and I wasn't offered a fluoride rinse. None of that is a deterrent for me to be a return client. Best part was I received a new toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss as a parting gift! All that was missing was a piece of candy but I get it (lol)!

Unfortunately because I put my health on hold to save money I actually developed a phobia of scheduling a cleaning for fear of what might be going on with my teeth! Fortunately I came across The Tilden Group while doing errands locally and scheduled a cleaning and x-rays because they were running a new patient special that made the visit extremely affordable especially because I currently don't have dental or medical insurance. Taylor was extremely sweet and she prepared me for my x-rays then explained everything she saw on her screen. I was relieved to find out I didn't have any cavities or major issues and Dr. Zachary spent a lot of time giving my teeth a thorough deep cleaning without charging me extra. He used a solution from a streaming jet that cleaned my gums and targeted two years of plaque build-up. He then recommended I purchase a Burst electric toothbrush and showed me how to use it and proper flossing techniques. I felt extremely comfortable during the entire dental exam and I rescheduled a follow up cleaning in three months just to make sure I don't ignore my teeth and gums again. Highly recommend everyone here especially if you are someone who doesn't enjoy visiting the dentist!

The front desk staff have been polite, and appointments have generally run on time. There are TVs in the rooms, but they're positioned so you can really only watch while you're waiting for the dentist to come in. Once the dentist leans your chair back for the actual work, the screen isn't visible, so it doesn't function as a distraction during the procedure itself. This was a major issue for my son who wanted to watch and was a little difficult with the screen just out of sight, almost as a tease. Would have been better on the ceiling. Or an additional tv. The care itself has been straightforward and professional. Not exceptional, but solid and reliable for routine visits.
