For transportation from MCO to our Disney World Resort, we chose MEARS Connect as Uber/Lyft can be challenging with three people and our luggage. This service was very affordable, and very spacious on the bus. There was about a 15-20 minute wait for us to board our bus, but overall not too bad. This was my first time using Mears for transportation from the airport to my Disney resort. My ride from the airport was a van since there were just two of us when we arrived first thing in the morning. We made two stops but it was still a quick trip overall. My driver (I forget his name!) was so friendly and was pointing things out and telling me lots of facts along the way. On the way back to the airport it was a full bus as we made 3 stops. I was most impressed with how timely they were. My pick up time was 12:25 and they closed the doors and took off right at 12:26, leaving whoever else was supposed to be at my stop but hadn't shown up yet. In the past I had taken a different transportation and we were stuck at one of the resorts waiting for this late person that overslept or something. I would definitely use Mears again! read more

We had a great experience using Mears Connect from the airport to our Disney resort. After arriving at the airport, we found the Mears booth, let the staff know we had arrived and already had a reservation, and they directed us to the waiting area. The bus arrived shortly after, and the process was very organized. I recommend booking your round trip ticket online in advance it made everything quick and easy. The driver handled our luggage and stored it securely in the bus's luggage compartment, so we didn't have to worry about it. The bus was clean and had excellent air conditioning, which was especially nice after a long flight. The ride to our Disney resort was comfortable, and we arrived fairly quickly. Overall, Mears Connect was a convenient, affordable, and stress free way to get from the airport to Disney. I would definitely use them again! read more

This is a GREAT option from the airport to your hotel/resort. The price is hard to beat; it was less than $20 for me and my two year old. They don't start charging individual fares until age 3, so next time we visit I'll need to pay for her ticket as well, but still a good deal. Unless you get here just at the right time, you will probably have to wait a little bit, but it's not bad. I think we waited about 20 minutes to get on a bus that took us to our hotel at Disney Springs. The bus was comfortable. This will definitely be our choice again next time we visit Orlando. read more

We've always had exceptional service on Mears both leaving and arriving to the airport. We've had numerous rides over the past several trips and have never been disappointed. Our driver today was Christopher and he got us loaded quickly, handled our luggage with care, and got us to our resort safely. I was disappointed to see the bus before ours had a driver with unacceptable behavior. After everyone was loaded, we watched him talk on and off with the safety guy, while all the guests waited and this went on for 30 minutes after everyone was loaded. We also watched him literally throw the luggage onto the bus to the point we thought he was going to break a wheel off one of the strollers. If we see him again, we'll wait for the next bus. Fortunately we've never seen any other driver behave like that before. read more

Purchased a round trip from the Orlando Airport. First off it was a very long walk to get to the Mears Connect boarding place. I checked and was directed to stand in one of the many roped off lines based on my hotel/resort destination. I arrived at 5:55pm and the first person in my line. At 6:07pm a staff member announced that there were several busses dropping of people on the other side of the airport and it would be about 20 minutes. One of these buses was for our line of people waiting. There was one large tour type bus outside and the line adjacent to me was the line for that bus. I noticed while I stood there for 30 minutes that bus was there for 30 of those 30 minutes before it took off. By 6:30pm no buses had arrived and there were only 4 people behind me and after watching the last bus sit and wait for people to arrive and fill up. I decided I was done waiting and I left. Used Mears to save money but in my opinion it was not worth it. I had been travelling all day and just wanted to get to my hotel so I ordered ride-share who picked me up in 5 minutes (once I found the ride-share area at the airport) and was at my hotel in about 20 minutes. read more

I thought I reviewed Mears yesterday, but I must have been mistaken or it didn't post. We experienced Mears when we were in Orlando going to Disney World. I did a lot of research on transportation before our trip and I learned there used to be a free shuttle from the Airport to Disney World. That was discontinued a few years back, I'm not sure how many years ago. I am surprised that they took it away for the price we paid for the hotel it should include the shuttle. When we were waiting in baggage claim, which had some machinery malfunction so it was taking longer then normal, he check out UBER and the price was sky high at this time at night. We arrived at the airport around 6pm on a Saturday. I told him about Mears and the mixed reviews I've seen about them. He went to there website, saw the price and he was sold. So after getting our luggage we went in search of them. We went out to the street and asked at the Taxi Cab station how much a taxi would cost then we asked where Mears was and they pointed us that way. We walked down the side walk and came upon the Mears busses and we were guided inside. Once inside we saw a welcome booth and kiosks. We asked at the welcome booth the procedure and they pointed to the Kiosks. We followed the prompts and signed up. Once signed up the Welcome booth people pointed to the lines. The line was pretty short when we arrived. We would share a bus with the Animal Kingdom Lodge and All Stars. As time when on the line got longer and longer and the wait time increased. I think we waited around 45 minutes for our line to be called. Once we were called we headed to the bus. They asked us where we were staying and put our luggage in the correct hull. It was well organized. As we arrived at the Lodging they were able to just open a single hull and pull everyone's luggage out. Ours was the last stop. It would have been nice to be the first stop, but for the price you really can't complain. The bus was very plush. The seats were fabric and plush with headrests. There was even a bathroom in the back that no one used. Everyone was excited to be here and exhausted from traveling all day. read more

Our driver, Rafael, reminded everyone to check for their phones, wallets, and carry-ons, which I think can sometimes be forgotten on the bus in the rush to get to the airport. He indicated the stairs and to hang on to the handrail besides taking your time to see where you placed your foot. I think it was a nice reminder for travelers. He gave us a time update for his stops and for the airport to ensure we did not feel stressed. I liked that he explained the terminals and where to head exactly. Besides being a little late on the departure from Walt Disney World Boardwalk, the overall experience was fantastic. We were able to get off a plane and get directly on a bus to Walt Disney World. And the conversation was great. The bus drivers was fantastic. On our departure from Walt Disney World we waited a little bit no more than 10 extra minutes, but then we were on the road and got to our airport safely. Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience with Mears Transportation On August 20, I was riding a Mears bus from the Rosen Inn International to Universal/Epic Universe. Unfortunately, what should have been a normal part of my vacation turned into a serious and painful incident. When I boarded the bus, I was still standing and trying to get situated. My friends specifically told the driver that I had a service dog and that I would be moving a little slower. Despite this, the driver began moving the bus before I had been able to sit down. As the bus pulled away, I lost my balance and fell into another passenger. Instead of stopping gradually, the driver then slammed on the brakes, causing me to fall forward onto the floor. Afterward, she looked back at me and said that she "didn't realize my gait was bad." This was particularly upsetting because she had already been made aware that I was disabled and traveling with a service dog. She eventually asked whether I wanted medical attention, and at the time I declined. What I wanted was very simple: for the driver to wait until I was safely seated before moving the bus. What made this experience even worse was the lack of concern afterward. The driver did not apologize or ask if I was okay. Even when we arrived at Epic Universe and I exited the bus, there was no meaningful concern for my condition. My friend spoke with her, and the driver's primary concern appeared to be getting to her next stop and notifying her supervisor that she was going to be late. This incident has had a significant impact on my vacation. I have been left in considerable pain from the fall and have not been able to enjoy my trip the way I had planned. Universal was involved at the time of the incident and provided me with a case number. Mears also took my statement and told me someone would follow up with me. Unfortunately, I have received no meaningful follow-up from Mears. No one has contacted me to check on my condition or properly address what happened. I find this response extremely disappointing. When someone is injured on a transportation service, especially after the driver moves the vehicle before the passenger is safely seated, I would expect the company to take the incident seriously and prioritize the passenger's safety and well-being. At this point, I am considering pursuing legal action regarding the injuries I sustained and am prepared to involve an attorney if Mears does not take appropriate action. I sincerely hope Universal will reconsider its relationship with Mears and evaluate whether this is the transportation provider it wants representing its guests. Passengers should be able to expect basic safety, patience, and compassion when using transportation provided for their vacation. I would strongly encourage Mears to review this incident, the driver's conduct, and its response afterward. I should never have been put in a position where I was thrown to the floor simply because the driver couldn't wait for me to sit down. read more

Mears left me and my family standing outside at the Art of Animation resort at 3am and couldn't get us a shuttle in time to make our flight. They don't call. They have a stupid policy you must be there 15 min early or they leave you and charge you. I asked for a refund and the guy on the phone said he couldn't do it and I'd have to fill out a form online. Don't trust your family travel with this scam company even Uber calls you before they leave we were walking up as our driver left. read more
