Cutest little cafe inside the Marriott building downtown Dallas. It's simply a stand but they have a great selection of coffee. My favorite is the Dulce De Leche Latte and their empanadas are AMAZINGLY GOOD. Be careful though! Their coffee is piping hot for about 10 minutes lol I have no idea what the hell they do to keep it that hot after you walk away but it'll jack you up if you're not careful lol. I like it though because it's still hot after I get to the office and I tend to be an avid coffee re-heater.

Came here for breakfast. It is a cute pop up stand in the Marriott Center. There isn't a place to sit there, but there are tons of seats around the center if you are trying to stay. I took mine to go and they gave me a cardboard tray that they give you at starbucks for four cups. I came to get an acai bowl (the tropical one with coconut is ~$8), but couldn't pass up a $1.79 breakfast taco as well. I got the bacon and egg taco and it was delicious. Very well made, the eggs were cooked well and the sauce complimented it perfectly. The acai bowl was also good but presented in a smoothie cup which was weird. Also i saw them pour cranberry juice into it, which makes me a little unsure if they are using real fruit, and remove a star. Otherwise it was very delicious. Overall a nice place to stop by for a quick breakfast.

This location just opened up recently at the Plaza of the Americas building and is located in the center of the atrium right in front of Corner Bakery. They have an assortment of South American coffees, empanadas and sweets (i.e. pecan and brownie squares). I was excited to see that they offered empanadas on their menu, of the savory and the dessert variety. My favorite so far has been the "Romeo & Juliet" which has agave nectar and cream cheese. They will even offer to warm up the empanada in their fancy-schmancy revolving warmer (if you so desire). Today I ordered their Java Chip frozen frappe. It comes with espresso and java chip ice cream blended into the drink and whipped cream on top. A calorie counter's nightmare for sure. While the drink was good, it was more like a frozen slushie after a few sips and I couldn't tell that there was ice cream blended in at all. For $4.99, I would not order it again, but I will definitely keep coming back for their empanadas!

I am addicted to this place and generally go here every other day for a cafe con leche or some empanadas. The price is good and food clean. I tried the cubano and an arepa in my last two visits and both were impressive. It's one of the places with the shortest lines in the plaza as well, so it really helps out when you need food quick.

Ahhh.. delicious!

It was right after a furry convention happening at my hotel, so it was definitely crowded, but you wouldn't have known it by how smoothly everything was running. There were only two people at the register and two making drinks, yet the service moved quickly and efficiently. You could tell they really knew what they were doing. We both started with black coffees, which we prepared ourselves, and everything was fresh and exactly what we needed. Later, I went back and tried their strawberry, banana, peanut butter smoothie made with almond milk, and wow. Usually, banana overpowers everything in smoothies, but somehow they balanced it perfectly. I could actually taste every single fruit, which felt like magic. The prices were very reasonable, and I even grabbed a croissant for my walk back to the hotel, which was a nice little bonus. The location is beautiful, and while the space itself is on the smaller side, it more than makes up for it with comfortable and ample seating. The overall vibe, combined with top-notch service, made this such a great experience. I can't wait to come back again.

Cafe Duro is a must when visiting the Lower Greenville area!…read more I recently visited this amazing European-style café during breakfast on a weekday and it was amazing. Please note that parking in this area is particularly difficult but if you come in the morning, it should be easier to find. Another thing worth nothing is that they are more of a quick standing coffee bar type of place and I definitely wouldn't recommend it for families or kids, so keep that in mind when visiting. Now to the food... They have a small but mighty menu for breakfast and lunch. For my first time I decided to try their The Monte Duro, which is a pastry style "hot pocket" with smoked prosciutto, mortadella, mustard and jam. For drink I decided to go with their Dirty Chai Latte. The drink was absolutely perfection and exactly what I needed in a warm Texas morning. The Monte Duro was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor! Both my friend and I ordered the same thing and we were both obsessed with it.

The staff is not really friendly but the vibes were still peaceful. Mushroom grilled cheese: This was so yummmy!! The bread comes perfectly crispy and buttery. There were tons of mushrooms and creamy flavor. By far one of the best grilled cheeses I ever had. Banana horchata matcha: This drink was very sweet and good for people that dont like bitter drinks. I loved the banana flavor and it reminded me of banana bread. There was also a lot of cinnamon in the drink which made it so tasty.

A Must‑Try Donut Truck at Klyde Warren Park!…read more We stumbled upon this donut truck at Klyde Warren Park while in the area expecting a quick snack, and instead walked away having tried every single flavor they offered. Yes, every one -- and honestly, it was worth it! Each donut was fresh, and crafted with the kind of care you can actually taste. The flavors weren't just different; they were thoughtful, balanced, and surprisingly creative. One of the biggest highlights was the vegan Neapolitan donut. Vegan options can be hit or miss, but this one was so good we had to double‑check it was actually vegan. It had the same rich, indulgent flavor and perfect texture as the regular donuts -- no compromise, no "good for vegan," just good, period. It was one of those rare treats that makes you rethink what vegan baking can be. If you're anywhere near Klyde Warren Park, do yourself a favor and stop by this truck. It's the kind of place that turns a simple donut run into a memorable moment -- and we'd go back in a heartbeat. My kids have already asked a few times, ha!

Out of the 4 donuts I ordered, the Banoffee pie was hands down my favorite. The flavors and textures complimented each other perfectly, and it wasn't too sweet. The other donuts I ordered were decent, but I don't think I'd purchase them again. The classic donut was okay; it was a little too cakey/bready for my liking. Although I liked the flavors of the yuzu & matcha mini, because of the smaller size, the ratio of cream/curd to donut was overpowering. Lastly, again, i liked the flavors of the pistachio cannoli, but it was too sweet and the cream was dry. Overall, I'd still go again and I'd love to try the other flavors. I love the creativity!
