Turns out: they're about a truly great company, with cheerful, supportive technicians--and MAN their communication is *killer.* They were prompt by both phone and text, kept me up-to-date on when I could expect them to arrive, talked me through every single step of the process, and didn't talk to me any differently than they talked to my husband (which, unfortunately, is all too common with technicians, I've found). Our story: we had a puddle of water in our basement after a recent thunderstorm. Glenn and Ryan showed up within an hour, calmed our nerves, helped us inspect our home, cleaned up the mess, and left us with some fans to dry out the room. Their prices were reasonable, and they came back today to pack out the fans, exactly as they'd promised. In short: at every step of the process, they knocked it out of the park. All these glowing reviews you're reading? It's not a scam or some kind of marketing ploy. It's a reflection of a really exceptional company who is actually *enjoyable* to work with.

One of the best experiences with a business I can remember. They were able to provide a free estimate. They were offered to come within an hour or 2 from the call (which means, if they can come soon, they will not let you wait for a long time for for nothing) I did not need further services in my place, and he was honest about it (he could have tried to push services, because the water machine identified humidity). He provided us with his professional opinion and backed up his advice with solid and easy to understand arguments. I had further questions about technical aspects of mold/water damage and he patiently answered them with same eloquence as paragraph above. I found his visit very objective, not waisting our time. He was also polite and considerate at all times (important right now due to coronavirus circumstances). Their service was so satisfying that I felt that I own them a review.

When they sent the bill, it was over $11,000. They charged that much extra for boxes and bubble wrap. They took down blinds and doors, and did not put them back up. The screws for everything are gone. They did not keep the hardware with the blinds, so now we have to buy new blinds. Our Roku box has disappeared. They cut out a piece of our new carpet that did not need to be cut, and we had to have it patched. They packed all our belongings in layers of paper, bubble wrap, etc. every single thing, even plastic and light metal items was wrapped. We have no idea where anything is. There was supposedly asbestos involved, but no one was wearing any protective gear, so I wonder if they were taking our insurance company for a ride. They do clean up quickly. That's all. I give them an F-, because they F'd up our finances and our house. Get EVERYTHING in writing."

I've watched my husband deal with these guys and as mother, I'm beyond disappointed that they unprofessionally and aggressively ignored my husband's request to finish mitigation of mold in our home which endangered our children. Thank God my husband took it upon himself to finish the job by locating and removing the mold. Since I had experience working for a restoration company in high school I decided to start the demo myself to save money since insurance wouldn't cover the damage and I had to pay for everything out of pocket. I spoke with Greg and told him my plan and he was very against me doing the work stating "I'd do more damage then already done." I let the builder know and they said "they probably just want you to give them the job but I'm confident you know what you're doing and could knock it out yourself. It's good to have them give the official check that everything is dry." I agreed with the builders reasoning because I didn't want mold growing but wanted everything dry. I was able to do about 90% of the work in ~3 hrs. I even brought fans of my own to help dry it out until they could come out. When the crew arrived they were really nice and said the small bathroom had also been impacted which I didn't realize and they removed the carpet of a small 2x7 section in the room sharing the wall near the wet area. I had to leave for work when the crew arrived and according to Greg, they were there for 8 hrs. My final bid was for $1370.90 and this DID NOT include putting everything back together. In shock I reviewed the itemized items and saw that things were grossly over measured. I kid you not, I was charged for removal, disposal and bagging of a kickstand. Which was not bagged, or disposed of, I was charged for the trim that I PERSONALLY REMOVED MYSELF. I had also saved quite a bit of trim that was in good condition that I had planned to reused and numbered them based on where I pulled it from so I could reuse the measurements and use the non damaged parts for smaller areas. The demo crew took them even though I told them do not dispose of the trim in the living room that's numbered. I told Greg (project manager) and he said "I would t recommend that because it's MDF which is aborbant" but I still told him I wanted to keep it. I wasn't asking his permission, just informing him to not dispose of it. I told Greg his crew took the trim pieces because they were gone when I came back from work and his response was "everyone says they tell my crew stuff but I'm the boss and you need to tell me." I reminded him that I had and his response ^^ but he left me on read. I was also charged for the disposal of the trim I asked them not to remove and the removal of said trim. Greg was willing to adjust some of the measurements but not everything. I paid the invoice for $1,266.51 because he said he wouldn't adjust it any more and it would get sent to collections. It makes me wonder how many people received bids who don't know anything about demo work and just overplayed and took their word for it. Seems really unfortunate. Moving forward I would not recommend this company to anyone unless their practices change. I understanding you run a business but you're not profiting off insurance claims man, some people you're profiting off, are paying out of pocket for these disasters and you're grossly overbidding and charging for demo work that WAS NOT DONE. I have all the receipts for anyone who wants to look at them and I took a video of the work I did BEFORE the crew arrived and made sure sent it to Greg for proof so the time stamps lined up.

He was incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful. He offered a free mold test and whatever is needed to ensure my home is safe. He also asked me what value I thought they provided and offered to reimburse the difference in what I was charged. I've never received such empathetic and genuine care from a business owner. After this conversation I really believe this business has its customers best interest in mind and cares about the results they produce. Thank you for your care! **Original Review**The service was $1050 and the person who did it was in our house for less than an hour. He sprayed bleach on the wood and cut a couple inches of sheetrock out. He left it messy even though they charged $260 just for vacuuming. I feel like I could have sprayed my own bleach and saved $1047 dollars. We were still sick after he left and there was still evidence of mold in different places. I would have given one star but he did come back and spray it again after we reached out personally. He was here about fifteen or twenty minutes the second time. Overall really expensive and not really worth it. If I knew they just spray bleach I would have done it myself.

We removed our plants, dog and opened all the cupboard and room doors and our air ventilation system for the fog to penetrate as mold attaches itself to everything especially dust particles. We ran errands and picnicked in the park for four hours and returned. Upon entering, the smell of ozone was heavy but bearable. I called Dave to ask if we could open windows and he said that would be fine. Upon inspection Justin had scrubbed the mold off the shower stall and painted antimicrobial mold paint on the ceiling. He also cleaned the air conditioning filter in our condo air system and put it back in place. We cleaned our air ventilating fans in the two bathrooms and will now make sure to run them before and after our showers along with keeping the bathroom doors open after using them to keep moisture down. The fogging comes with a one year guarantee. This company was prompt, courteous snd answered all my questions. Highly recommend.,
