TSR Pro Audio Service

TSR Pro Audio Service

I can not begin to say enough about TSR Pro Audio Service which is a Roland & Bose service and…read morerepair shop. I recently had my Roland Stage synth worked on by Bob who is the owner and Tech for TSR . Since the man who use to work on my Hammond and Leslie set ups and my synths for over 20 years passed away within the past 2 years I have been in limbo trying to find someone with the knowledge and capability to fix whatever i would need fixing with my equipment . I called TSR and talked to Bob who is down to earth and a stellar musician himself playing keyboards . When I dropped off my Roland Stage it was so distorted that every voice from the piano to the strings were awful to listen to . Within a few weeks I called Bob and it was ready for pickup and the problem was solved and not a miner problem either. Just getting to the repair was a feat in itself , layers of boards had to be taken off to get to the issue . I also could not believe the fair price Bob charged me and in the world of musical repair it was shocking how fair Bob is . I have now dropped off a Peavey CS1000 power amp that was said to be not worth fixing as it would be to much money for labor . It is now ready for the studio again all fixed . I now have my Roland Juno 6 Synth at TSR being cleaned up so I can hit the stage with it again . It's in amazing near excellent shape and just needs a bit of TLC under the hood. My next keyboard after the Juno 6 to be at TSR will be the very first 1966 Doric compact organ my parents bought me when I was playing Frat houses at 14. The bottom line is this ,,,would I ever take these fantastic Keyboards and Organs to someone learning the trade ,,,Heck no,,,I usually do not write reviews because folks usually have their own opinions anyway , but if anyone is in need of equipment repair weather it be keyboards , speakers or amps do yourself a favor and call Bob at TSR You will be as happy as I am I'm sure . Chuck and Nick are probably two of the most honest and trustworthy guys in the game! Have had…read morerepairs done on several amps, even one that was gone through by several Mod shops that couldn't diagnose the issue... And they've all come back like TANKS! Have had guitars serviced, pick ups installed and many other services from these guys... And it's always the best work! Have bought a Peavey 5150 head, a Whammy Pedal and several other items from them, and they are ALWAYS in great condition. These are two musicians who look out for you, and treat all of your stuff like their own! Highly recommend! Thanks for the great work guys.

this is THE place to go if you need work done on your guitar/bass or amp in the binghamton area…read more friendly people who are very knowledgeable. i was putting together a bass last summer and there were a few things i couldn't do myself. they did them for $50. guitar center gave me an estimate of $120. i saved $70 by going to Binghamtone. back in 2006 i was having trouble with an amp. i took it to Hyle's in Johnson City and they wanted $60 just to look at the thing. i just got an amp fixed at Binghamtone for $48, i'd hate to see what Hyle would have charged to do more than look at it! they have a cool selection of unique amps for sale too, as well as vintage and used guitars and basses. i'll never go anywhere else for a repair, please support these guys!

Scoundrels thieves and liars. They did $188.66 repair on my Vito flute without authorization…read more The flute is not worth that much. Store policy "If parts plus labor will exceed the amount shown ($100) by more than 50% we will contact you for approval before proceeding with service" When I inquired about pre approval Eric (man at front desk in kilts) told me that only applied to labor costs. Not wanting confrontation I paid $188.66 3 weeks later the F sharp was not working again. They had repaired 7 pads, but only 1 of the 2 pads related to the F#. They repaired the second pad and made some bogus claim about the flute head joint being bent and lower stack rib needing to be soldered, something they had done in the past. They Charged me $98.41. Parts for both repairs $78.39. Looking on line an entire repair kit costs under $20. To add insult to injury they claimed I abused my flute and exiled me from the store. The second bill will probably end up in court.
