I took my P4DC Takamine to David to have the action lowered (typical of Takamine from what I've…read moreheard). Having a lot of money already wrapped up in my guitar, I was a little hesitant to have the kind of work done that was necessary to reach my goal. He explained how he would have to remove about .095" of material from the saddle without having to adjust the neck (which he explained would not lower the action across the entire fret board). This made me nervous because the 2,000 dollar guitar was going to be modified forever. He has an Erlewine Neck Jig with a line of precision dial indicators for measuring neck deflection, and measuring tools to gauge the action. He explained the purpose of the tool to alleviate any apprehension I had about modifying my guitar. In the end, he lowered the action perfectly, and did a small adjustment on the truss rod so that the action was the same across the board. The end result was perfect. I have a friend who plays professionally who played it and said it was one of the smoothest and most playable guitars he ever enjoyed. Dave also set up my Gretsch 6120 and restrung it with flatwound strings and again, perfect. He is ultra-careful with the instruments brought into his shop. I highly recommend Dave if you are looking for a quality luthier in the Binghamton area. He is top shelf and his pricing is very reasonable. Ric Chrysler

I recently hired John from True Tuner Piano Service to move my piano. I had called for an…read moreestimate, and he asked me detailed questions, such as the height of the piano, how many steps were involved, as well as the type of flooring in order to give me an accurate estimate. He offered an extremely reasonable quote for the move, and was able to make an appointment for a few days later. He kept in contact the entire time, followed up to confirm the appointment, and arrived on time. He arrived with a very muscular partner that possessed a good sense of humor. They proceeded to take apart some pieces of the piano (which was a surprise), but it was to protect the fragile parts from potential damage during the move. The piano was well protected with careful and strategic placement of pads throughout the way, and it was never in danger of being damaged. They arrived to the destination, reassembled the piano, and did not deviate from the quoted price. Extremely professional, prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous - apparently John has been in the piano business for 30 years and is quite the expert. Kudos for a job well done!

OMG I had been having electrical problems with my Audi. For almost 2 years I had no backup camera…read moreand no push start operation. While getting my stereo fixed on my VW I perchance had a discussion with Robert about my car's issues. He wanted to try to figure out the problems. Well it took several weeks getting used parts and hours of Robert's time digging deep into my car's electrical systems. He found all my issues and fixed them. My camera now works with- 3 PDC sensors and a Parking module, my proximity sensors work, and my push button start is doing what it should. Thank you Robert for all your hard work and due dilligence. Yeah!!!! If your car isn't acting like it should electrically call Robert he might be able to help. And he is great with audio systems.
