I've used the services of this mechanic a couple times before for basic things like oil change and…read morechanging break pads however this last time I had a bit more work to be done. I explained what the issue was as best as I can being someone that knows very little about cars and he said he will do an assessment and let me know. He later called and explained what the issue was and what needed to be done. $500+ later and the car still has the same issue. I took it back let him know the issue has not been resolved. He examined the car then stated NEW repairs are needed other than what he previously done and it will be an additional $1300 to make the repairs. This is a clear example of someone taking advantage of people that don't know much about the inner workings of cars. Initially he claimed he knew what the problem was and assured me he fixed it and obviously that was false now it appears this is an attempt to trick a customer into spending more money to fix the same problem. Be warned!

I was towed back to that shop and 2 days later when I went to pick up the auto I was charged an additional 337.86 for lugs and studs..I also had to buy a new rim from a tire shop for 108.00.Afterward the tire could not tightened all the lugs because they were used and damaged. The owner of this shop affectionately goes by the name Snake. The name is very deceiving. When you meet him and deal with him, the name doesn't match the personality. Being particular with my cars, I purchase my parts and bring it to United for them to install them. Communication is always good and clear.
