jiffy Lube in West Hempstead is very unprofessional. I had stopped going to them before for years, but I decided to go there today and get my change on his car so much has changed. They told me they had to drive the car in themselves. I was OK with was speaking to me they drove their own car OK I didn't understand that but no problem I took a seat inside and then they called me out and told me to start typing my own information into the so I said to them why do I enter my own information into the system? No one could give me a straight answer then they called me over to my son's car and they told me all the issues that the car has I explained to them I'm just therefore an oil change. I would the look at anything else. The in the vehicle next to said he's the manager of that and this is what needs to be and he begins to yell and speak to me very unprofessional and even about my son's only helpful one that was at the shop when I went was a young gentleman who helped me with my son's car for some strange reason once I to leave and not get the oil change 's car did not no issues going in the man did help me out car started. Had a oil change on 3/17/25 they made a mistake on the bill stating NO OIL ON STICK! It was a totally a lie! I checked my oil prior to going in. They lost my valve caps on the passenger side of my car. I replaced them because they couldn't find them. I had to take my car to the dealer to find out where a slight ticking noise was coming from under the hood. My warranty wouldn't cover the repair due to the mistake on the receipt stating no oil. I'm still waiting for the district manager to call me about this situation. A woman from jiffy Lube tried fixing this issue by updating that it was a mistake on their part. However, it wasn't honored by warranty company and I had to cover all the costs at the dealer. This could've been avoided if the mistake wasn't made on the receipt. I'll wait on the call from the District Manager, until then I'll be looking into what can be done next on my behalf. read more

Left my oil plug leaking and woke up to oil spot in my driveway. When I returned they told me they weren't responsible because I try to tighten the plug. Then they got violent and threatened me with one of the employees yelling in my face that he was going to assault me if I didn't leave the premises immediately. Would have loved to seen him try. While other costumers where in the place. I even went there with a new plug and they refused and got violent. Over 20 Years I've been going to this place now I'll be doing it myself. read more

Wow what an amazing experience I had here today. I needed a simple oil change and I was in and out in less than 30 minuets, I also asked for windshield wipers. In addition to services, they cleaned my windows, and vacuumed my car. Their staff was so kind, answered all my questions. As a woman I did not feel like I was being taken advantage of, which is very important when getting my car serviced. The value and the service I paid for was fair, they have a lot of oil options to choose from in addition to air filter changes, windshield wipers, and alignments. So long story short, I went to jiffy Lube 8/9/22 and now in October I was hearing a rattling noise in my car so I took it for a second opinion to another mechanic. It turns out when my oil was changed it was not done properly causing the oil to leak out BUT not just any leak, leaking into my engine. I now do not have a car as a result of this terrible service and have officially filed a complaint with them. I wouldn't say don't go there because to each their own BUT I will never go back there. read more

I usually go to my local mechanic for my oil changes but I need to make an appointment. I'm a busy guy so one day I had a little time to kill so I decided to stop at this location to get a quick oil change I was due for. Guys did their thing, I paid, and was on my way. Fast forward about a month later, I need an inspection. I go to my local mechanic who does the inspection and also checks other things while he's waiting for computer, like my oil. Turns out I was 2 Quarts low on my oil. He saw the Jiffy Lube sticker on my window, so he knows I cheated on him. I actually felt bad and told him the reason I went there. He told me Jiffy Lube is notorious for shorting oil to maximize profit. He also told me some other horror stories he had to fix because of Jiffy Lube "Technicians". Anyway, I'll never use ANY Jiffy Lube ever again. read more

Red flag. I went to get an oil change here but I don't think they screwed on one of the panels properly after they were finished. After the oil change I was driving down a highway (far from my home) and one of the panels under the car started coming off and something was dripping onto the road (water? transmission oil? unclear) Because it was night and I was worried to continue driving without oil I had to stay overnight at a hotel before taking it to a mechanic in the morning to fix it. Of course that cost money! Luckily, a mechanic close by fixed it and I was able to drive to my location. Just watch out and make sure they do the job correctly (...if you go there). read more

Been coming for a few years. They always do a great and quick job with my oil change. The guys are always friendly and move fast. They are clear with what you need to do and provide recommendations for your service. During covid, they have a drive thru service where you do not need to step out. Went for my yearly inspection a couple weeks ago and they have adopted a policy where as much as possible they allow the person to stay in their vehicle because of concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic. I'm glad I didn't listen to the reviews of this place because it was FANTASTIC! I left my house to get here and get and oil change - I was back home 30 minutes later. It was that fast! I waited MAYBE 15 minutes. The place was empty and had 3 employees at noon on a Sunday. The staff was so friendly and had good humor. I get very taken care of. I also got my car vacuumed, got windshield fluid, clean windows and a rainx treatment FOR FREE with my oil change! And now that I have gone once- I can get all of the services FOR FREE whenever I need it! Before I went, I found a coupon for $13 off an oil change at my location. My total was $35 for everything! I badly needed an oil change when I called Marcel answered all my questions and when I got there he pointed out anything and explained everything that I may need. None of them were pushy on trying to sell which was nice. I'm sick of going to place that take advantage of a girl that doesn't have a clue about cars. He told me it would take about 20 minutes and he was correct. The only thing I didn't really like was customers walking in the garage area even though that's how Marcel was able to explain my car to me. Best service I've ever gotten from an auto shop - like good enough to write a Yelp review about it. The entire staff has a great sense of humor, and they went above and beyond to help me with my car inspection (including staying later than their normal hours). They don't do repairs so there's no reason for them to fix issues that aren't there. They also vacuumed my interior without me asking which was a nice surprise. There's a couple of strip malls, and a Starbucks, close-by which make the wait easy. I'd go out of my way to give them business and you should too. read more

These guys used to be good, but their pricing has been getting absurdly high. They charged $85 (incl tax) for a Honda Pilot oil change (0w-20) when the oil really costs under $30 and I can get it done at my local mechanic for $45. I don't care if they try to upsell other high priced items (e.g. air filters, wiper blades), but don't charge nearly DOUBLE for a basic oil change. read more
