They patched the tire quickly, were polite, professional, and didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. What really stood out was that I had previously gone to Mavis in Queens Village for the SAME issue and was told I needed TWO new tires. My car is only 8 months old! Cross Island Tires took care of the actual problem with a simple patch and had me back on the road. Fast, honest, efficient, and no nonsense. Exactly what you want from a tire shop. We purchased a 2015 Audi Q5 with only 57,000 miles from Kurt. He most recently replaced the Driveshaft and assured us that the vehicle was mechanically sound. On the first drive, the car left us stranded on the side of the road, indicating a transmission malfunction fault. I called Kurt, but he was not interested in helping, he also mentioned that he does not warranty his work. So I took the vehicle to a reputable shop that lifted the vehicle to check it out. To my surprise, the Driveshaft was damaged due to improper installation, and, it was found to be a low quality Chinese driveshaft that cost 1/10th the price of the original. Just about any mechanic that you will meet will warranty their work, and own their mistakes (which is ok, we are only human) but not Kurt. Instead, I am left with a hefty bill and a vehicle that my mother is afraid to even drive now. This review is so that you, as a potential customer, are aware of the person that you are looking forward to doing business with. I would highly recommend using mechanics that will warranty their work, because mistakes do happen.

He said I already ordered the rotors, Of course it was more than the after market price. He charge me 179 dollars for each rotors. But my chief complain is that, the break pads are not even that worn to warrant a change on the break pads. I thought that break pads could still be used for another two years, The Break pads was only 30 percent worn. I wound up paying almost $700 dollars for just a regular inspection. I think is abuse. They should not force anyone to change break pads when there's like 70 percent more on the pads. Worst of all they could not even reset the break pads reset in the computer.
