I brought my 2014 vehicle (with only 2k miles and one owner) and a radio/cd player in perfect working order there for installation of carplay and a backup camera. It was discussed and made clear that as evidenced by all the cd's in the car, I still used the cd player. After 4 different day long unsuccessful attempts at installation, my money was refunded only to find that my cd player no longer worked. Realizing that they did not know what they were doing, I took the vehicle to another shop that opened up the radio in front of me, only to learn that Idea First had taken out my $5k Porsche radio/cd player that came with the car and replaced it with a defective radio/cd player(labeled exchange part) that was manufactured in 2016. After having them install a front and rear bumper guard on my Mazda CX5 back in 2016, I sought them out again when I decided to buy a new vehicle. Soon after entering the shop I was greeted by Eddie, who is the store manager. I told him of the blown speaker, and we immediately went outside to take a look. He knew right away it was blown (tell-tale poping on any deep base). Now I will admit that auto sound is one of the components of a car that I know the least about, Other than perhaps installing (and not well, I must say) a trunk rattling sub box in my teen years, But eddie went over everything I needed to know as well as the different price points. He was able to give me Alpine speakers, which are a vast improvement for the stock set up that I was previously rocking! I was so impressed by the shop that I decided to also have my break calapers painted (shut up! I grew up in Valley Stream, jezzz). The crew even stayed late to make sure everything was right and was able to correct a loose panel that I spotted while my car was on the lift. I could not find the Front and Rear bumper guards for my new Voltswagen Tiguan anywhere. Two other dealers had me waiting 3 months, to finally tell me that the parts were unavailable for my vehicle due to the sensors. He wanted a Subwoofer and all inner manufacturers speakers changed and installed along with multi Amps to concentrate in on the Bass and Treble crisp sound. The installation looked very professional and beautiful. There were no wire traces exposed and the side doors speaker installation looked as if nothing was removed or replaced. Still had all manufacturer mint condition, again as if nothing was touched. He also had all his windows Tinted from front to back and there were no Bubbles or bad cuts from edge to edge. Eddie the Shop Manager and his professional crew exceeded our expectations and even detailed his car without him asking them to do so not to mention they buffed out scratches.
