Connor was immensely helpful throughout my visit. He willingly cut my wood to size and helped me identify a defective board, which I was able to purchase discounted since it was intended for use under a bed frame. Afterward, he walked me to self-checkout, coordinated the discount with another manager, and even loaded the wood into my car. Connor's professionalism and willingness to go above and beyond are a credit to Lowe's Home Improvement. He is truly the epitome of great service, and I wanted to make sure his hard work was recognized. -Susan M-

I will say that I have visited here regularly and have never been impressed by the staff. I know…read moreit's a job and rarely do any of us like going to work but when you're in a customer service business - at least fake it. I feel like I'm a burden to them by asking simple questions. I also found that Lowe's clearly relies on Self-Service checkouts rather than having a couple of real folks running a register. I absolutely believe Lowe's Corporate is having problems and is trying to push for more online sales than in the store. Back to this store. I have found it to be disorganized at times. I understand customers mess things up and move things but the staff needs to go around a pickup some and rearrange things. During my latest visit, I needed to use the restroom and found the toilet leaking water all over the place. You would think someone could fix a toilet at a home improvement store. There was a bunch of rust, so it is safe to assume this has been an ongoing issue. Then I made the mistake of trying to buy a few clearance items. As I self-checked myself out, the items rang up wrong. After three folks checking (5-6 minutes wasted) they claimed I had the wrong items. I explained to them the display that I grabbed my items from, and they continue to insist I was wrong. So I intentionally walked to the display, took photos of the items and the barcodes. To prove my point. Again instead of admitting their staff mislabeled or made a mistake, the staff continued to infer I had made a mistake. Needless to say, I did not make that purchase. Again when you go to chain stores or restaurants you expect consistency. What makes one better or worse is the staff. In the area, we fortunately have competition. I think I will begin using the competition as a first choice when I can. Ps. I will most likely email the store manager and will see what reply I get to my concerns. I will update my review if my opinion/experience changes.
