WATCH OUT! F&D for sure doesn't seem like a customer friendly place to shop at. Wasn't too happy with their lack of customer service at the store and so went online to order the product. And apparently, their prices change by store ... I was trying to buy the Platinum Harvest Waterproof Rigid Core Luxury Vinyl Plank online and it showed the price to be $1.29/SF and when I selected this store as the Pick-up, it changed the price to be $1.59/SF. That's an almost 25% price hike and when you are buying 2000SF that adds up to be a substantial amount. And it's not that the product is on a special sale or clearance. BUYER BEWARE read more

Great experience today! I took my parents, who are in their 80's, to look for tiles for their front stoop. Katie spent a good 30 minutes with us, showing us different options, listening to what they wanted, offering excellent advice. Taking responsibility for the products they sell to the public. Floors & Decor responded to my review. Basically, their response was still hiding behind the manufacturer. In my review I mentioned their resolution team was no help, and what is Floors & Decor response "sorry contact claims" basically trying to send me in circles and still hiding behind manufacturer and not taking responsibility. I will being putting more reviews on many platforms in an effort to reach as many individuals who has fall in victim to Floors & Decors lack of responsibility to the customer but has no problem taking money to enrich their shareholders and upper management. read more

We are total home improvement virgins and are completely clueless when it comes to flooring!!Thankfully the staff at Floor and Decor came to the rescue and helped to guide us towards the flooring that's best for us. Ron educated us on all things flooring and shared a few laughs in the process. They sell samples for anyone who may need them and offer contact information for installment companies! The layout of the store is spacious and very easy to follow. There are knowledgeable employees in every area of the store waiting to help with whatever it is that you need. Floor and Decor does not post refunds for returns back to the customer's account for up to 10 days. Floor and Decor does not inform the customer about their policy to delay crediting the customer's account for up to 10 days. The customer is not informed of this practice and it is poor customer business not to inform the customer upfront. To date, I am still waiting for my $1000.00 refund to be processed and returned to my ba account. I will never trust Floor and Decor again. Called corporate office and the local store. I can say don't go on a Sunday. Picked the floor we wanted and went to cashier to order. She was rude and unhelpful. Here response "you need a manager". Ok. Where might we find one? Found one! Went over to the flooring area and he found one of his associates and asked her if her radio was on since people were calling for her to help customers. She mumbles something incoherent and shuffles off. Finally get our order in and have to go back to same rude ass cashier. We pay and said we would like to pick up today. She nods and mumbles something under her mask. Ask us if we know how to get back to receiving. We say yes. We go back. Text the number on the sign. No response. We wait. 30 mins later I walk in warehouse to see 3 "kids" playing on phone at desk. I told them I texted the number and got no response and no one came out. They said "she didn't put a order in". Not surprised. 20 mins later they bring the order out. All in all over 2 in half hours at that store to get flooring. only bright parts. They have a lot in stock. Good selections. The kids in the back were pretty helpful once we learned mask lady up front was not helpful. I get it. It's Sunday and you probably don't want to be there but there was probably 10 people in line and one rude cashier. Not a great experience. read more

My husband and I needed additional flooring for our daughter's house. We had the name of the flooring and the color but couldn't find it. One of their employees, Charles, ( from New York) was most helpful. He was familiar with the flooring and noted that the name of the color had been changed. He knew exactly where it was and we were able to complete the order. He was so pleasant to talk to, in fact we stood there and carried on a conversation. The place to go for flooring and tile. Sir Charles in flooring has been very helpful every time I go there to shop for flooring. He is friendly, knowledgeable, and forthright. It takes me a while to decide what flooring I want and Charles is always there to assist with absolutely no pressure to buy this or that or rush a decision. As a result, I have been very happy with my remodeling choices years afterward. The first time there I used their free consulting service to help me because I picked what I considered an adventurous color floor, but years on I still love the floor. So we are redoing my bathroom and am so ready for it to be done. We visited several other tile suppliers in Richmond but Floor and Decor has to be the best hand down. Best selection, prices and staff. The manager John who helped me with my order had 20 years experience installing tile. Every representative I spoke with was able to answer my questions. I love how big of a selection they have. I was able to find just the right tiles without a problem. They even have a interior designer on staff 9 to 5pm for no extra charge. My tile budget was $2 per square foot and I had great choices at that price. The only suggestion I can think of is a larger or more complex showroom would be nice. But not if my tile price goes up. :) If you need tile make sure you check out Floor and decor before finalizing your order anywhere else. read more

She was wonderful in helping me determine the amounts of each type of tile I needed, the corresponding grout and other needed materials. She was extremely helpful and efficient! There are lots of selections here at Floor & Decor. I found it useful to check out all their hardwoods, engineered hardwoods, and tile. The staff were pretty friendly and willing to help except for one employee who never returned my calls for assistance. I ended up purchasing $5000 worth of engineered hardwoods for my basement at F&D. I'm satisfied with the product I selected and I'm happy that Floor & Decor had enough of the product I ordered in stock. BAD STUFF: what prevents me from wanting to do business here again is the way in which Floor & Decor arranged to deliver my product. I understand F&D farm out heavy deliveries to a 3rd party. But, the delivery service was so unreliable and disorganized that it reflects very poorly on the overall experience. VERDICT: If you have a pickup truck and don't mind hauling thousands of pounds of flooring yourself, you might be able to find a decent purchase at F&D. If you need product delivered, however, I'd recommend not relying on the delivery service F&D farms out to. read more

Walking into Floor and Decor is a treat! I wanted to select tile for my bathroom renovation and LOVED the variety! I love that they let customers purchase samples to take home and it is easy to return what you don't want. After several fun trips for decision-making, we went back to purchase our selections. Everyone there was so helpful! There was a nice gentleman placing tile back and he paged Charles for us to help us determine how much of each tile pattern we needed. Charles was so nice and a big help. After purchasing our tile, Charles and another clerk helped load it into our car. I love that store and they have the most reasonable prices around! I went to this Floor & Decor location near closing time for tile and vinyl flooring -- things I am completely unfamiliar with. Four different staff members (Nicki, Billy, James, and Sam) were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Despite being near to closing time, everyone was very patient and helped me get everything I need without feeling pushed out the door (unlike the experience I had at a different location up north). I guess I ran into the wrong salesman. I advised him I had no idea what I wanted to use and I needed some advice. I was originally thinking laminate but would like some suggestions. He pointed to where that would be and as we began walking that way, someone else walked up and he began to help that customer as if we had never talked. I waited a moment and finally moved on. What did he not get? He was very condescending and not helpful to ME at all. I left the store and will go elsewhere for help for my bathroom floor. read more

We love Floor & Decor. Been shopping there for over 3 years as we re-build our home after a tornado. We spent 5 hours there this weekend and ended up with 6 carts of tile and materials for 2 bathroom projects. Customer service during this visit was exceptional. A man was very helpful to my husband (sorry I don't know his name) in his efforts to pick out components of the Schluter shower system. Dolores asked us if we needed help and she stuck with us as we searched for more items to complete the projects. She called some guys to load various tile and and even got some guys to load all the tile. She was very helpful with calculating the amount of materials we needed and gave us great suggestions. I had a terrific experience at this store. Monica was the associate who helped me. I had some basic ideas about what I wanted to use to convert my tub shower to a tiled walk in shower. She helped me choose absolutely everything my contractor would need. She was pleasant, professional, well informed, and patient. The store has a tremendous selection of all kinds of tiles. The associate is able to calculate the required number or amount of necessary products and enter it on a hand held computer. At the conclusion, the order is sent to the cashier. When we walked in, five employees were standing at the cashier area laughing and talking - I don't think anyone even looked when we walked in. When we were walking around in the back, a couple guys asked us if everything was OK and they were very nice, but they couldn't help us in the design/stock area. One called for a designer who was busy but suggested we sign up on the sheet for the one to come in at 1 PM, so we did. We kept an eye on the designer desk - when a cute girl with red hair came in, I went to sit in her waiting area because she looked like she was just getting in/set up and not terribly happy about it. Someone else asked her a question about an existing order so she left. So did we as about four employees were still giggling and chatting at the cashier station. The selection looks nice, but if you want personal service, I would avoid this store. read more
