But I digress... I was initially told that they were 4-6 weeks behind schedule due to the excessive rain we had this past Spring which was completely understandable. After all, Texas weather can be extreme and unpredictable. As it turns out they were actually further behind than that, although it didn't come as a surprise, nor was it an issue for me. Eventually the job was completed and it was worth the wait. Our fence and garage doors look fantastic! The only reason they fell short of receiving 5 stars was because the communication could have been better. Once the proposal was signed weeks turned into months where I heard nothing from them. I began to wonder if they forgot about me so I contacted them to express my concern. At that point they promptly scheduled an appointment to come clean our fence and garage doors. They arranged to do the staining shortly thereafter, but no one notified us of that appointment beforehand. Fortunately, we happened to be home when the crew showed up.

We met with Abe and discussed the various choices for fences and received our estimate. We were…read moreimpressed by the fact that the steel posts are set deeper into the ground and we could choose pre-stained boards to be installed. We decided to proceed and were added to the schedule. The old fence was removed, and new posts were set in anticipation for the boards to be installed after the concrete was set and dried. Our fence was installed in May, 2017 and it is still standing straight! We love our fence! We did have a problem with one of our side gate doors that was warping a few months after installation. This gate door is right off the driveway and used frequently to access our trash and recycling. We contacted Abe and after meeting, it was decided that we would need to add a metal door frame to keep it straight. We paid to add the metal frame in September, 2017 and haven't had any other issues with this gate door. The work crew was very efficient and professional and got the entire board on board fence completed in two days! We're so happy we chose the pre-stained boards. We decided to add the slanted horizontal pieces that deter anyone climbing on the fence. They did have to stain that after it was installed. Everything still looks great 4 years later!

Boards randomly tacked up horizontally across the bottom all the way around. I wouldn't have accepted it personally as a job I paid my hard money for but I wanted to give the original builders the opportunity to put in a gate to replace one they originally built as, well, the gate worked and that is all I am looking for now, a new functional gate. They don't want your business apparently. The sign they hang on the fencing is for decoration I guess, because they refuse to answer or contact back, guess they have too much money. I wouldn't recommend because the work I see everyday in my backyard is just not that well done. Oh well, off to find someone to build me a gate..

Tuesday the 18th, I emailed saying I wanted them to do the work, but I had a couple of questions. No response to this email. Wednesday the 19th I called the phone number on their website and here -- the phone number that apparently worked just fine when I was trying to get the estimate. No response. Thursday the 20th I called again. No response. I am so baffled by these companies that do not communicate with customers that want to hire them. UPDATE: He did not call me back after "checking his schedule." And why no response to my first phone call the previous day? He also seems to indicate that he received my first email, but not my second. I can post a screen shot of it, Jason, so frankly, I don't believe you. The fact is, you decided my job was too small to bother with, so you thought you would just ghost me. But then posted a response to my first review here within two hours of its appearance! I believe future potential customers should be warned about the lack of courtesy and professionalism. Obviously I have moved on and am looking forward to reviewing your competitor.
