The outlet on my patio stopped working while I was away. As soon as I came home and noticed that the lights and the fountain weren't turning on, I began calling local (Oceanside) electricians and leaving messages. Dan quickly followed up with a return call but another electrician had already responded. When the first guy didn't show up, I called Dan again. He agreed to stop by my house the following morning. He was on time, friendly and quickly diagnosed the problem. Dan repaired it, gave me some suggestions for the future maintenance of my patio outlet and charged me a very reasonable amount fora home repair done on very short notice. Dan is our man! What a great guy! He installed a new light over our sink. It was no easy task since there was no room in the cieling to pull wires. He didn't give up until he had the best possible installation. It looks great and works really well too! He has made a few suggestions that really made the difference. We wanted to have the light installed with a switch to the left of the sink. His idea was much better, with the light switch to the right of the sink. He spent a lot of time making that work. He also replaced a defective electrical outlet for our dishwasher. We will be referring Dan to everyone we know. My husband and I have been using Dan as our electrician for 17 years ever since we moved to Encinitas. He is one of the finest tradespeople that I know. He is everything you could want - easy to reach by phone, efficient, comes in a day or two usually, and will explain things clearly if asked. He does really quality work and is very safety conscious. His prices are very reasonable compared to other electricians we have had experience with. I have only positive comments about his performance; we've been very pleased every time he has done any work for us. Dan was extremely professional, courteous, and gave a ton of attention to detail which I really appreciate. I needed a couple of ceiling fans installed in my living room and dining room. He was really great about working around both of our schedules to find a install time that worked for the both of us. He has installed several new circuits for various remodels through the years. Needed an electrician to replace what turned out to be a bad breaker. Yelp led me to the closest one and it turned out to be McFall electric. Dan called me back within minutes and offered to come by within an hour. I actually had to schedule it for the next morning since I had left for the day. Dan was there at 8AM as promised. Dan McFall is great to work with. My husband and I had decided to update all of our downstairs lighting. We needed to exchange out two chandeliers and also to have four pendants and five spots installed. The installation of seven of these new lights required cutting out the dry wall on our ceiling in order to place boxes in particular locations for the first time. I called Dan to fix some electrical problems for my 83yr old mother. He was so kind to her and answered all of her questions. He also did a great job for her replacing faulty electrical outlets. He did such a good job for such a good price I called him two days later to install a hanging light over her dining room table.
