Okay, so I was driving through Williams in the morning and needed to get some breakfast so I could take my morning meds. I placed my order for a Sausage McMuffin Value Meal on the app so it would be ready upon my arrival. When I walked in my order was just being placed on the counter; perfect timing! I asked for some salsa and the employee provided it with no problem. I sat down to get my food ready, drank my small coffee, and noticed I didn't get any napkins. I went to the counter to get a refill on my small black coffee and some napkins and was told "No refills." I was shocked. I said don't we get refills when we dine in. "No." When did that start? "Over a year ago." I asked how much is a refill? "Full price." Well, other locations still give refills on non-specialty drinks when you eat there. Not this Mickey D's! I'm not sure this is going to serve them well, folks may choose to go to one of their competitors if they deviate too much from what most of the other franchises do... As far as ambiance goes, it was decorated like most McDonald's are decorated. Because it was pretty early in the morning the place was not overly dirty, like what I read in other reviews. But, I will probably pass this location by in the future and stop at Carl's or Taco Bell if I'm in a hurry and need a quick bite. read more

Stopped here on our way to Redding. We were on a time crunch and thought this would be a quick and easy dinner option. Unfortunately, we ended up sitting in the drive-thru for about 40 minutes. We ordered 8 cheeseburgers, and when we opened the order and started passing out the food, we discovered that two of the burgers didn't have any meat patties in them! We were already in a hurry and couldn't turn around to go back, so we had to just deal with it. read more

Never coming back to this McDonald's. They removed the self serve soda fountains, stopped offering refills altogether, and somehow the price of a soda keeps going UP. So we're paying more and getting less. Great business model. I'll gladly drive to Woodland from now on, where at least I can still get a refill with my overpriced fountain drink. Any McDonald's location that decides to nickel and dime customers like this deserves to be called out for it. You've managed to lose a customer over something as cheap as fountain soda. Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results! We went through the drive through and ordered breakfast. One Sausage and egg McMuffin Value Meal and an Egg McMuffin by itself. Drive up to the pick up window and they ask us to wait in stall one because hash browns are not done. We wait and nobody comes out. After 10 minutes my wife goes in to find out they were too busy serving others and our order sat getting cold. She brings it out instead of them. We open the bag to find out they left the egg off the sausage egg McMuffin. Now we have to go back in the restaurant to switch for a McMuffin with the egg. They did not even apologize for screwing up our morning. I will eat a 6 day old gas station hotdog before I give this McDonalds my business again. read more

Zero! Avoid this tragedy of a fast food place. 25 minutes in drive through with only 3 cars ahead of me. Guy on order speaker was stoned or just stupid. Kept saying "hold on a sec" and well over 2 minutes would pass. It was truly insane. Then more wait to get to pickup window. Creepy grimy slacker hands me smashed up bag of food and takes my card and since it was all so sketchy, I asked for my receipt. "Oh our receipt machine isn't working." I finally get out of this horror ride and open bag. Barely cooked greasy fries, inedible. Burger looks like it has nothing inside. I mean it was like 2 buns and just this paper thin mystery paddy and pickles. I didn't trust the cleanliness and the need up throwing everything v away despite being g very hungry and just paying $13 for this fiasco. Never again. Addendum: just went to the McDonalds "survey" and wow. I started answering there questions to give feedback and like 5 questions in and it's saying I've only completed 3% of the survey. What? You expect me to take an hour to answer your questions?? And all multiple choice? Just give me a comment box so I can paste this review in. I'm not wasting time being your consultant. This is the slowest McDonald's in the world. We ordered through the app and waited forever in line. It seems like the staff does not have any inclination of getting orders done in a timely manner. You can also tell that people do not use the app at this location because they seemed very confused in the drive-through. They did not get our order correct and missed one of our hashbrowns for breakfast. We also asked for a grape jelly and they gave us strawberry. All you had to say was we don't have grape would you like strawberry. We will not come back to this location in Williams California again. This place really sucks . As I'm reading below.. this place is slow. Ordered through the drive thru, basic order, 4 total items no modifications. One car ahead of me, got to the window. Was asked to wait in spot 1 and they will bring my order out.. that's a red flag. TEN MINUTES LATER. TEN. MINUTES. LATER. I'm now standing inside cause obviously they forgot I was even there?! I placed a breakfast order before the posted cutoff time, and the app fully allowed me to complete and submit the order. When I arrived at the drive-through, I was told to pull forward and wait. After sitting in line behind multiple cars, I was then told they couldn't complete my order because of the time it was placed. This makes no sense. If the order isn't valid -- especially if I was already charged and told to pull forward -- the app should not allow customers to place it in the first place. With today's technology, situations like this should be prevented to avoid wasting customers' time and creating unnecessary frustration. Having to wait in line only to be turned away with no real solution is unacceptable customer service. If a location already has low customer ratings, experiences like this only reinforce why improvements are needed. Customers deserve accurate ordering systems and clear communication. I'm rarely satisfied with this location, and this experience only adds to that. You're a billion-dollar corporation, and this simply doesn't add up. Do better. This is one more reason people start walking away. read more

This is truly one of the most incredible McDonald's that I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing. The ambiance and decor is top of the line. The mural of Williams is a very nice touch and something that you just won't get at other locations. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive.
