Visited July 28 2026. See my receipt. While pulling into Williams I wanted to pick up breakfast. I use the App to get points and today I used some of my points for a hash brown. I got their new honey butter biscuit with cheese and bacon inside. The American cheese was not melted. The hash browns didn't seem to be fully cooked and were barely warm to the touch. There was no one in front of or behind me in the drive thru this morning but it still took almost 10 minutes for my order. They seemed a bit disorganized. I placed a breakfast order before the posted cutoff time, and the app fully allowed me to complete and submit the order. When I arrived at the drive-through, I was told to pull forward and wait. After sitting in line behind multiple cars, I was then told they couldn't complete my order because of the time it was placed. This makes no sense. If the order isn't valid -- especially if I was already charged and told to pull forward -- the app should not allow customers to place it in the first place. With today's technology, situations like this should be prevented to avoid wasting customers' time and creating unnecessary frustration. Having to wait in line only to be turned away with no real solution is unacceptable customer service. If a location already has low customer ratings, experiences like this only reinforce why improvements are needed. Customers deserve accurate ordering systems and clear communication. I'm rarely satisfied with this location, and this experience only adds to that. You're a billion-dollar corporation, and this simply doesn't add up. Do better. This is one more reason people start walking away. read more

Zero! Avoid this tragedy of a fast food place. 25 minutes in drive through with only 3 cars ahead of me. Guy on order speaker was stoned or just stupid. Kept saying "hold on a sec" and well over 2 minutes would pass. It was truly insane. Then more wait to get to pickup window. Creepy grimy slacker hands me smashed up bag of food and takes my card and since it was all so sketchy, I asked for my receipt. "Oh our receipt machine isn't working." I finally get out of this horror ride and open bag. Barely cooked greasy fries, inedible. Burger looks like it has nothing inside. I mean it was like 2 buns and just this paper thin mystery paddy and pickles. I didn't trust the cleanliness and the need up throwing everything v away despite being g very hungry and just paying $13 for this fiasco. Never again. Addendum: just went to the McDonalds "survey" and wow. I started answering there questions to give feedback and like 5 questions in and it's saying I've only completed 3% of the survey. What? You expect me to take an hour to answer your questions?? And all multiple choice? Just give me a comment box so I can paste this review in. I'm not wasting time being your consultant. Their big enticement is that if you complete the survey you *might* win a free apple pie or a cone! I'm done with McDonald's. read more

Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results! We went through the drive through and ordered breakfast. One Sausage and egg McMuffin Value Meal and an Egg McMuffin by itself. Drive up to the pick up window and they ask us to wait in stall one because hash browns are not done. We wait and nobody comes out. After 10 minutes my wife goes in to find out they were too busy serving others and our order sat getting cold. She brings it out instead of them. We open the bag to find out they left the egg off the sausage egg McMuffin. Now we have to go back in the restaurant to switch for a McMuffin with the egg. They did not even apologize for screwing up our morning. I will eat a 6 day old gas station hotdog before I give this McDonalds my business again. read more

No God damn free refills. This nickle and dime garbage from a multiBILLION dollar corporation, franchisee or no, is ridiculous. Soda syrup is pennies compared to everything else. If I could give this McDonald's, a zero, I would absolutely give it the first zero that I've ever given! I am driving from Oregon down to Southern California and I'm stuck in this drive-through line for 20 minutes with six cars in front of me. No joke! What a waste of time! How is this place in business? I ordered a fish filet meal and received a severely overcooked fish sandwich, including the bun. I returned it and asked for it to be remade. This is the slowest McDonald's in the world. We ordered through the app and waited forever in line. It seems like the staff does not have any inclination of getting orders done in a timely manner. You can also tell that people do not use the app at this location because they seemed very confused in the drive-through. They did not get our order correct and missed one of our hashbrowns for breakfast. We also asked for a grape jelly and they gave us strawberry. All you had to say was we don't have grape would you like strawberry. We will not come back to this location in Williams California again. This place really sucks . As I'm reading below.. this place is slow. Ordered through the drive thru, basic order, 4 total items no modifications. One car ahead of me, got to the window. Was asked to wait in spot 1 and they will bring my order out.. that's a red flag. TEN MINUTES LATER. TEN. MINUTES. LATER. I'm now standing inside cause obviously they forgot I was even there?! This is the slowest McDonalds location ever. Routine 15-20 minute wait in drive thru. Not sure why I think it will change and keep trying it. Management/owner must be greedy and just hire the bare minimum staff. If you want "fast-food" you'd be better off going to a sit down restaurant rather than this McDonald's. read more

There's hardly no one here in the parking lot four cars in line and at least 10 minutes for each car probably more than that cause I've been here already a half hour and it was only like four cars in front of me. This is the worst mcdonalds in history. I was literally cheated. I paid and had a receipt but they wouldn't either give me a refund or give me my food because they said it wasn't in their system. Not sure what it is but this McDonald's no matter the time of day the food is always stale bread, cold, and burnt burgers. 90% of the time the order is incorrect yet it takes so long for them to get it to you that you're always being told to pull to the front. Stopped here on a road trip, the dirtiest McDonald's location I've been to :( flies everywhere, landing on me non stop while trying to eat. Garbages were overflowing in the restaurant and bathroom, no toilet paper. Fries were burnt to a crisp. It would be fine if the workers kept it decent/clean. read more

This is truly one of the most incredible McDonald's that I have ever had the pleasure of patronizing. The ambiance and decor is top of the line. The mural of Williams is a very nice touch and something that you just won't get at other locations. The staff were exceptionally polite and attentive. We pulled over on a road trip in hopes of having a quick meal because it's considered FAST FOOD however this is the slowest meal I've ever received. This one of the worst experiences that I've had so far at any McDonald's or any restaurant. I got there at nine was excited to get my steak bagels with extra sauce extra cheese because I love their breakfast sauce and treating myself before the work week. I paid for my order and they told me to go wait in the stall which is fine. I understand the steak takes 10 minutes longer to cook however, I waited an hour. I finally asked the attendant what was going on with my order and they said oh that's odd. Maybe they forgot it so I immediately went inside to check on my order. I was surrounded by angry customers and the person at the front ignored me for 10 minutes they found my steak bagels, which were just sitting on the counter. The whole time gave me the bag and get this after waiting over an hour at this point I open up my steak and egg and bagel and even though I paid for extra sauce, they put no sauce in my bagel. This is not my first negative experience with this McDonald's. They forgot my pies a few days ago and they were very rude on the phone. I use the mobile app. They refuse to give me a refund unless I drove all the way down and suggested I just drive down just to pick up the pies when I told them I didn't wanna drive all the way there just for pies. They had no other solution and ended the call with no apologies. Just OK bye The atmosphere inside of the restaurant is chaotic. There is a lack of management and leadership. I genuinely think corporate needs to look into this location. They definitely lost several customers just today there was at least 10 different families that were very upset in the restaurant and I wonder if corporate would like to know that they are losing customers due to the way that they are operating this McDonald's ! Ever since they put in the kiosks to order your food, they now only have 1 register - which is rarely worked. It's hard to get anyone's attention as you can't see anyone. Customer service is truly lacking. Someone should be assigned the register to take orders, not everyone can or wants to use the kiosks, which don't always give you a receipt. I'm not sure who's decision it was to go this way but they've lost their customer service and personal contact with folks that are traveling up/down I-5. read more

Employees and manager were rude and mocked me when I ordered my food. I have a gluten allergy so my normal order is a double quarter pounder with no bun. I still get to enjoy the burger without getting sick. I explained that and was told to not eat burgers if I have a gluten allergy. Anyway they said they would still make it without the bun. But they didn't, got my order and it still had a bun on it. Thankfully I don't live here, I was just passing through town but like I wouldn't recommend anyone going there. I was on my way headed north on the 5 back to Red Bluff and I remembered there was a Micky D's just off the freeway here in good ole Williams. As far as fast food goes, McDonald's in not a place I'd normally go. But I saw all these ads for this new Chicken Biscuit breakfast sandwich and the McGriddle Chicken breakfast sandwich priced at 2 for $3.00. Heck, at $1.50 a piece, I'll give it a try. The pictures in the ads always look way better then the actual product, but let's see. I arrived at this location around 7am and there a decent amount of people in there. I go inside to order. I ask, if they have the 2 for $3.00 deal. YEP. OK then gimme one of each, one biscuit and one McGriddle. The order comes out fast and service is no prob. I try the Biscuit chicken sandwich first. Unwrapping it, I do like that the chicken fried patty extends out from the biscuit. Same goes for burgers, patty smaller than the bun is just no good! I bite in and Hmmm.... the chicken is sort of dry, kinda like frozen and deep fried. But the biscuit is too dry to be used like this with just a piece of chicken in between. The biscuit is a bit crumbly. I'd pass on this one next time, even for $1.50! Next is the McGriddle Chicken Breakfast Sandwich. This is basically two McGriddle pancakes acting as the outside of a sandwich with just the same deep fried chicken in between. No sauce, no nothing, just the chicken. It's good the chicken appears to be all white meat and a little spicy with the fried breading. The pancakes are infused with maple flavored syrup. How they do that, I have no idea! Again, I'm happy the chicken piece extends out past the pancake. The pancakes are about 3 1/2 inches across, about the size of a smaller McDonald's burger. First bite, WOW, this is way better than that biscuit thingy I just tried! The sweetness on the infused syrup goes well with the crunchy spicy coating of the chicken, as the softness of the pancake contrasts well with the crispy coating of the chicken, sort of the way chicken, waffles and syrup go together. I really like this new breakfast sandwich, from McDonald's no less! The sandwich works surprisingly well, even without any sauces or condiments inside! Sweet, crunchy and spicy, this sandwich is a winner. Give it a try, just skip the biscuit thingy sandwich. Get 2 of these McGriddle breakfast sandwiches and you'll be McHappy! read more
