Hidden Gem! Truly the locals authentic spot! Amazingly delicious authentic Mexican food at an affordable price. The location is connected to the mini market and has indoor or outdoor eating. I'm unsure why the name is for a bakery, didn't see much bake goods. They have a simple menu with Tacos, Burritos or combo. The menudo is delicious and offered on Sundays. Visited June 30th..see receipt. I have been hearing about this place so I thought I would give it a try because I love mexican food! Their posted hours start at 4am! When you drive into La Fortuna Bakery the food to order is to the left and the store to buy dry foods and other items is attached and to the right. They have indoor and some outdoor seating as well. I ordered the steak burrito to go. It does not come with salsa so you need to ask for it! The burrito was a decent size ( especially for the money) but there was very little steak in it. It still tasted very good, and the burrito was wrapped up nicely. The red salsa was a bit watery and not spicy enough for my taste. The prices on their menu are budget friendly especially for the portion you are getting. I hear the tortas and tacos are good as well. I think I got spoiled by another place down the street that has massive burritos with a ton of meat and are generous with their salsas! I would still come back again and try their tortas. If you're looking for good food along the highway five you are probably aware of Granzella's. Everyone seems to go there. And it's great. However, there are other great restaurants off the same offramp. Including La Fortuna bakery. The name bakery is a bit of a misnomer. While they do have one in the back, it is in the back through three or four different rooms before you get to it. Between the street and there you will find a full market and in the very front is one of the best quick grab and go Mexican restaurants. That's what this review is about. Authentic Mexican Food! Very reasonably priced. Good seating and parking. You can call ahead and order and pickup. They serve great burritos and have breakfast burritos served all day. If you're passing by on I-5 would be a good place to stop and take a break OR order ahead swing by 3 min of highway. Very friendly staff. Please don't get me wrong there are other Mexican restaurants in Williams that are good but if you're looking for ALL homemade and fresh this is your place. Wow. A taste explosion hidden behind a rough exterior on the back streets of this drive by spot on 5. You will not be disappointed if you crave deep, genuine Mexican flavor. We had the pork adobada burrito and, at the counter clerk's suggestion, the chile relleno burrito. These knocked our socks off. The service is so warm and friendly you'll think they've known you and your pets all your life. Prices are also friendly. Be warned, there is a bakery in the back with three walls lined with goodies. Go ahead and treat yourself. You won't spoil your dinner. There is an area inside to dine if you want to avoid all that sauce running down your sleeve if you try to eat on the run. We had been in the road for a couple hours and wanted quick food. We saw some reviews and decided to eat here. The food was amazing! Total was $25 for 2 tortas and a large horchata. The tortas were filling, fresh and tasteful. I was only able to finish half of my Torta because of how full it was. The outside of the establishment looks deceiving but inside you'll find a convince store filled with Mexican candy. They have outdoor seating with a filtered water filling station in case you've been on the road for a while. Taqueria + convenience store + bakery in the back.. its a bit of an unusual setup but still worth a visit. Left door is the taqueria with 2 tables outside. Right door to enter the convenience store.. I think there's a few tables inside the convenience that you might be able to eat at. Lunch crowd seemed to be a bunch of locals so you know the food is good. Get the steak torta.. its delicious and less than $8! Not super big but tasty. We also got the Pork burrito, which was okay esp for $8 and a bit smaller than I would expect. The convenience store has all sorts of snacks (looked like they might be Mexican snacks?) And fun treats. All in all if you're in the area I'd recommend you check it out read more

I want to give more stars, but I just can't. I'll start with the good though. The asada quesadilla is the most delicious quesadilla I have ever eaten. Wow. Cheesy, flavorful, crispy tortilla, mmmm. Next, the service was outstanding, friendly people, so nice. The restaurant is also a store, and a bakery, and a taqueria. No complaints there. It's a little bit of a maze but I kind of liked it. The baked goods are okay, just not my kind of things really. But they were all well made. Here's the problem though, cleanliness. They need an exterminator. Locals were keeping the place busy during dinner time. I had the carnitas tacos with beans and rice, and my friend an asada burrito, and both were out of sight. Quality, good portions and affordable. To make things even better, we went to the back to check out the panaderia, and were presented with a galaxy of fresh, authentic goodies. The al pastor torta is the best torta I have ever had! It is not just the delicious meat inside but the bread is so soft and perfectly grilled. The service is always polite and quick to get your meal! We always make sure to stop by when we are in the area either going to clear lake or other near by places! We stop here on the way to Burney Falls because there is nothing really around. They took our order fast but it kinda took forever for our food to come out which is fine because the food is decent. It's alright mostly for the price except for tacos by themselves. I feel like you'll get more of your money with a la carte and get full.
