Fast friendly service, great food with great flavor. Love having chips with two kinds of salsas.

Sope platter!

First the hot salsa served with the chips was excellent. I ordered a chicken sope platter with Whole beans. The sope had crispy edges - perfect. The interior had red walls and cute decorations, with rustic wooden furniture. I would stop here again driving from the Bay to Chico.

While driving through California we stopped in Arbuckle Ca. Across the street from fire station 51 is El Jaliscience Mexican Grill. Family owned small business with surprisingly amazing food I had a #4-that came with rice, beans and a salad with ranch it was more than good, very satisfying meal from a little "hole in the wall"

Salsa was just a bit bland

Shoulda known by the low scores here that maybe we shoulda just kept driving. Visiting my brother in Arbuckle (a place I never knew existed until a few months ago) I journeyed here and told them we should try some of the local cuisine. We settle down this spot. The place was very dingy, didn't look very clean and overall just didn't quite click. The chips and salsa were bland and the food I ended up ordering (Chile relleno) was also very bland. Overall I would not come back here!

Super burrito and nachos. Both were large. Some of the asada was dry but it all had the nice char on it. Nothing adding salsa couldn't fix.

One of the better asada steak I've had in California. Service was nice. Bathrooms and tables were not great quality. Everything else was good. Great steak and quantity for the price.

Really good food. Basic but solid. Tortillas seem especially good and staff is welcoming

Not awesome decor, but very good tacos - I will go back again, next time I'm on that part of I-5.

Food is great and reasonably priced. The restaurant is cute; I usually do take out though. Good portion sizes.

A soulful stop in Arbuckle--El Capi is more than just a mariscos spot…read more We found this place by chance on the way through Arbuckle, and it turned out to be a gem. My mom was craving fried fish, so she ordered the mojarra frita, which came out perfectly crisp and flavorful. I got the fajitas mixtas (beef, chicken, and shrimp), which were generous enough to share, and my dad enjoyed a refreshing coctel de camarón. But beyond the food, what really stood out were the stunning backlit acrylic artworks lining the walls. I spoke with our server and learned the owners are from Nayarit, and the images reflect that cultural pride--featuring traditional Wixárika (Huichol) attire, sacred symbols, and vibrant coastal scenes. The whole atmosphere feels like an homage to ancestral roots and spiritual connection. We finished the meal with a lava cake and vanilla ice cream--warm, rich, and the perfect closing note to an already memorable experience. It's not just a restaurant--it's a visual and sensory experience that honors Mexico's coastal and Indigenous beauty. Definitely worth a stop if you're anywhere nearby. We will be back!

The dining area was clean and inviting. Overall the food was good but not great. We were just traveling through. We enjoyed the meal but probably won't go out of our way to stop again.
