The tacos and tostada were fresh and flavorful. My only critique? The tortillas. That's the one area I'd love to see improved. Handmade or at least warmed on the comal would have really taken the tacos to the next level. Ours felt like they came from a microwave or warmer, which was a bit of a letdown. As for the caldo--it was flavorful and came with a generous side of onion, cilantro, and avocado, which I loved. The staff is courteous and friendly, and they check on you during almost every course to get feedback. I'm a little sad they don't have those anymore due to vendor issues--it was a small, thoughtful detail that really made a mark on me. The food is great. The steak is always perfectly seasoned--not overly salty or overdone, just right to the point where I don't need to add anything else. Even the roasted bulb of garlic that comes with the steak is perfect for adding extra flavor if I want to. The sides are what you'd expect from a classic steakhouse. One thing that sets them apart, though, is the bread. They always have a great variety, plus a huge helping of butter on the side.
