Where to start? Came here on a Friday night and it was busy. We were hungry from the 3 hour drive and arrived to the casino with a party of six. Signed up on their waitlist, the wait wasn't too long (about 30-35 min) to get seated. The restaurant itself is small but the staff is very welcoming and nice. I got to try a few dishes and my ratings are as follows: -Calamari 4/10 (very fishy smell & weird taste) +Elote fingers 10/10 +Chicken nachos 10/10 (great shareable app) +The French dip 8/10 +Steak sandwich 8.5/10 +Halibut with veggies 9/10 -Shrimp scampi pasta 6/10 (sauce was bland) -Street steak tacos 5/10 (too many chewy fat pcs) -Steak Mexican Torta 5/10 (not good quality meat) +Carrot cake 9/10 -Cheesecake 5/10 There is definitely something for everyone here. See some pics for reference.

We've been coming to Jack's Place at Colusa Casino for years, and they have decent food. The service is not very consistent though, sometimes great and sometimes not good at all. During this recent visit we enjoyed our meals and experience..sadly, there are no other sit down restaurants to eat at this casino. I wish they would have replaced the buffet, steakhouse, and Branded Butcher with another restaurant instead of just changing the menu in Jack's Place. Hopefully that is in the future plans... Anyways, the new menu is "ok" - they took away customer favorites like the pot roast, but luckily added some good items like the Pork Osso Buco, which my father in law really enjoyed. I had the fish & chips and the fish was light and flakey, but the batter was a bit on the greasy side. They coleslaw was terrible, and the French fries were perfectly salted and crisp! My brother in law had the foot long chili dog...it looked unappetizing to me, but he likes it. The inside of this eatery is a typical bar/grill with a tables and half booths, and usually a game playing on the big TVs. They used to have like music on the little stage in there, I'm not sure if they still do. They keep the dining area clean.

Their pizza is pretty good, probably one of my favorite things on the menu. Furthermore we've always had really nice and helpful servers. Worth checking out if you're at the casino!

    Blue cheese salad was delicious.

Good was amazing. Don't live in area but would definitely come back through for the food. Very pleased with customer service also.

Great Cheese Burger and fries. For only 16 dollars.

Great Cheese Burger and Fries. For only 16 dollars salad also in price. Would definitely go back. Service was ok but they were very busy.

We usually come here when at the casino, since it's pretty much free with the weekly rewards. The service is typically pretty slow and it's hard to get a refill and even hard to get checked out. The food is greasy bar food, and not the good kind. If I paid full price to eat here, I would give one star.

Being so late at night it was hard to find a place to go out and eat dinner at, then I remembered that Jacks @ the Casino is open 24/7. Have to say we really enjoyed our meals. Homemade meatloaf for my better half and I had the prime rib dip (no horseradish). We left pretty satisfied and full.

I expected more from a 20 minute wait than store bought tortilla chips and nacho cheese with some chicken and jalapeño's sprinkled on top.

So glad we stopped in alittle after 11am. I have been here only once before in my travels. The corned beef and cabbage was so tender and delicious! We split it along with a small Caesar salad which was actually a very big portion! We still had leftovers! So wallet friendly which was surprising! They have several large tvs in the bar area seating. This place is dog friendly. Because I have a puppy I need to know that beforehand. BOTH inside and outside dog friendly! My puppy was happy and welcoming! They have a full bar with plenty of seating including a more private dining room. I had a nice glass of chardonnay and my friend had a dark beer similar to a Guiness ( they don't carry Guiness). It is definitely a locals hangout today. I heard they are slammed on the weekend and require reservations as there is very little competition in colusa for dining options. We had a great experience! Friendly waitress with fast service! I think her name was Lisa?? I will definitely be back sometime in the future on the weekend to enjoy their prime rib and other specials!

Never Made It Inside - Poor Wait Time Management…read more We were really looking forward to trying this place for the first time, but unfortunately never got to eat here. We arrived at 6pm on a Sunday and were told the wait would be 45 minutes to 1 hour. We understood it was busy and put our name down. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes, we checked back in, only to be told they had no idea when we'd be seated. We gave it another 10 minutes, but still no timeline or update. I completely understand that restaurants get slammed and wait times can be unpredictable. What was frustrating wasn't the wait itself - it was the lack of honest communication. If it was going to be a 1.5-2 hour wait, just tell us upfront so we can make an informed decision about our evening. Honestly, the host seemed to have forgotten about us as she seemed surprised and scrolled way down the list to find our name even though we were "top of the list". After waiting over 1.5 hours with no end in sight and getting increasingly hungry, we had to leave and grab food elsewhere. With three hosts working, I would have expected better expectation management than what we experienced tonight. I hope this was just an off night, but we left disappointed and hungry.

With a wasabi and fennel infused vodka, it was too unique not to be curious about. Upon arriving and looking over the menu, SEVERAL cocktails stood out to me as intriguing to try. I started with the Wabi Sabi which was as interesting as it sounded. While I didn't pick up on fennel, you do pick up on the wasabi, but in the most subtle of ways. Think maybe lime/ginger sparkling water with just a hint of spice. Refreshing and different for sure. I also tried the Mucha Lucha w/ cilantro infused Siete Leguas Blanco, chorizo infused mezcal and cubes made of hot sauce that make the drink have a bit more of a kick as you allow them to melt. I did the HH chips and guac which was also accompanied with a tasty Chipotle sauce. Damn good actually. It'd be excellent served in a variety of ways. The deviled eggs aren't going to blow your mind, but I like that you get 4 different ones- and simply because I love eggs, I'd order them again. (They just wouldn't be a dish that brings me back). The bartender was great- helpful and attentive, even as more people began to filter in for an early afternoon. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Napa to check out some other menu options.
