Who doesn't like nice, slightly crispy carnitas, or tender and flavorful lengua, heck the adobaba is worth the drive alone.

Visited August 2nd..see receipt…read more Before checking out Walmart in Willows for some candles I thought I would try this place. It has an Asian fusion menu with some interesting choices. I ordered the burger with avocado and bacon that came with waffle fries along with the chicken satay appetizer. The burger was cooked nicely and it tasted good. I had them cook the bacon alittle more since I like it alittle crispy. Bun was not warm but still tasted fresh. The chicken satay is always my "go to" at some of my favorite Thai restaurants. The peanut sauce is always included in the meal. The chicken was cooked nicely and was very tasty. I was shocked to see on my bill that they charged me an extra 2.50 for the peanut sauce that is supposed to be included in the price. Thus not 5 stars. The owner offered to refund me the 2.50 ( i declined) but I think it's important to have full transparency on what you are assuming is included per the menu description. The wait staff ( including the bartender) were very pleasant and professional. The inside is clean and bathroom was spotless. They have a full bar and have regular seating and bar seating. They also have happy hour on certain days. I would probably eat here again in the future if I am driving through on highway 5.

They have killer fries and their tots are amazing. They also have excellent beers on tap and fresh brewed iced tea (when I go for lunch)! The service is just counter service but they are always nice and accommodating. I love the cold six pack of various sauces and condiments that they give you with your meal order. I love going there on a not too hot but sunny day and sitting at the picnic tables, pretending I'm not actually having to go back to work. If it's after work, this is a great place for some pub style food and a nice cold beer. There's plenty of street parking in addition to the parking space as they offer. GO - you will love your experience at Willow's Last Stand!

This is super casual with indoor and outside seating. Feels like a locals hangout. Alot of guys hanging out and having beer and enjoying themselves. I got a grilled beef hot dog with potato salad. The potato salad was 5 stars! Nice grill on the dog. Maddy and Aaron were awesome and friendly! They have tvs to watch sports as well. Its a fun atmosphere. No frills. Alittle tight on the parking situation but a nice stop and dog friendly outside!

The service is great. For a small place, it has a good beer selection. We ordered the Broken Arrow IPA -- came in frosty glasses. My husband gave it a 5 on Untappd -- first 5 in ages. The food looks and smells great. But for the fact that we had just finished our car picnic, we would have been ordered. Next time. Visited on Saint Patty's Day March 17 2026. See my receipt as always…read more My girlfriend who lives in Colusa said they were serving corned beef and cabbage today! So glad we stopped in alittle after 11am. I have been here only once before in my travels. The corned beef and cabbage was so tender and delicious! We split it along with a small Caesar salad which was actually a very big portion! We still had leftovers! So wallet friendly which was surprising! They have several large tvs in the bar area seating. This place is dog friendly. Because I have a puppy I need to know that beforehand. BOTH inside and outside dog friendly! My puppy was happy and welcoming! They have a full bar with plenty of seating including a more private dining room. I had a nice glass of chardonnay and my friend had a dark beer similar to a Guiness ( they don't carry Guiness). It is definitely a locals hangout today. I heard they are slammed on the weekend and require reservations as there is very little competition in colusa for dining options. We had a great experience! Friendly waitress with fast service! Ice Burgie and I have a love/hate relationship. Let's talk about the love part first. If you like…read morepellet ice then this is the place for you! Many sodas options to choose from as well as syrups to add in (think raspberry Dr Pepper, vanilla orange soda). Their shakes and malts are great and affordable. My kids love going for shakes after dinner on hot nights. As for food - my kids usually stick to the chicken fingers and they pretty good. They aren't dry like other places and they have decent flavor. The BBQ sauce is good to dip into! You get big portions of fries for the cost, however as far as onion rings and fried mushrooms they get skimpy. I love them, but not exactly worth the cost. They need to up the quantity on those. The jalapeño poppers are always a go to. My husband and I pretty much stick with the bacon burger, mushroom burger, or the bulldog burger (on sourdough). I get my burgers dry, but with the fixings and everything always tastes fresh. For most menu items the cost seems reasonable, but for some the portions do not match the price. We do love the history and nostalgia behind this place and how much it is adored by locals. Ok...the hate. Kind of what I mentioned above - the price for some things just isn't worth it due to quantity. It's not a quality issue, it's more of the lack of "bang for your buck". Menu prices should be consistent and mimic the "low cost" if that's what they are going for. It can get busy and the wait can take awhile. Now, this means a few things. 1. It's a good assumption that if it's busy then it's good. 2. They make the food to order. We need to remember good things come to those who wait. However, if you do want your food in a timely manner and do not want to worry about crowds/lines I highly suggest calling in your order. We do this a lot in the summer even if we are just ordering milkshakes. The staff ....attitudes are inconsistent. Most of the employees are students and all female. I've always wondered why I have never seen any male employees there. Hmmmm ?? But yes, it's true, you can go and have the kindest personality taking your order or you can go and get someone taking your order that you would be nervous to eat after they have spoken to you. I do think that Ice Burgie needs to do better about making sure employees are good with people/customers. In other reviews on here it's mentioned quite frequently that this is a reoccurring issue. Ok lastly - the seating is sketchy. The old vintage concrete tables and benches in the front are cracked, loose and need fixing. In the back there are picnic tables that have seen better days. The wood needs to be replaced or fixed. Splinters anyone??? Possibly updating the outdoor tables with new ones would be a great idea. Other than that it's a great establishment and I would recommend everyone try it at least once. Remember...the shakes and the fries are the most bang for your buck!
