I like that they have outside covered seating for your fur baby and humans! They also have inside seating. I ordered the 2 enchilada plate with rice and beans. The enchiladas had carne asada and it was pretty good. Love their salsas ( red and green). Spicy but not too spicy! Leftovers as always! Friendly employees ( thank you Argelia! ) and very helpful! They also have beer and sodas. They have pozole on the menu as well. Good experience and good food!

The service was good and the decor of the establishment reminded me of Mexico. This is a traditional Mexican restaurant. The only item in the menu we ate was the birria but can't wait to try the rest of their food.

NANCY waited on me and she was so kind and helpful with menu choices. I had the carne asada burrito which was overflowing with meat! Love the taste with their beans ( not canned) and cilantro. SO fresh! Their salsas and even their chips were delicious! I could only eat alittle bit and the rest was to go. It was nice and cool inside and very relaxing. I was blown away by all the items made by scratch. AUTHENTIC! I honestly can't wait to come back and try more items! DON'T pass this place up! Plenty of parking. It is a little on the pricey side, but the portion, freshness, and flavor made it worth it. I normally always go for the traditional green aguachile, but surprisingly the red sauce ended up being my favorite! It definitely has some serious heat, so be prepared if you're sensitive to spice. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and everything tasted super fresh. The owner was also our server and was incredibly kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. Great food and great service -- this place has become a go- to for me !

It is very clean inside with plenty of seating. I ordered the 2 item combo which was carne asada enchilada and a chicken tamale. It came with rice and beans. I had them split the tamale with half red and half green sauce. Very delicious! Chicken was moist and tender. The enchilada was good too with alot of flavor! I liked that they had complimentary chips and different salsas. I like it spicy! They also have beer and sodas available. I am obsessed with molcahete dishes ( served in an urn type bowl) but they are hard to travel with because they are very hot! Love their menu! The owner...ROSA.. was very warm and friendly! The flavors were really good and no chewey or fatty meat inside. They do have inside seating but not pet friendly ( no outside seating). We took it to go and got back on the road. There are also port a potty bathrooms, although they were locked. The location is basically at the end of a road behind a liquor store. Isn't that where the best tacos always are, somewhere off the beaten path? So before ordering, I did see a sign which I interpreted as "extra salsa costs money", which I find kind of annoying. Depending on how the salsa is, I may want to douse every bite in it, so I was hoping that at least what they did give was good. As it turned out, I didn't need to worry, since the sign actually means "no salsa included - at all". So that's kind of lame, what kind of place doesn't give you any salsa at all? Onto the burrito - despite no salsa, this was a very good burrito. A bit greasy, with a fair amount of oil leaking out, but that's normal for fatty braised meat like cabeza. Some salsa verde would have been welcome though. Size-wise it was totally worth it, the ingredients were well integrated, and the tortilla was chewy and held together to the last bite. The wrapping job was also good, so aside from the grease overflowing from my big bites, there were no leaks. I live nowhere near this place so I can't imagine when or if I'll be back, but as far as a good pit stop on I5 this place delivers.
