This is more of a convenience store where you can still get hot food ( like their delicious but fattening fried chicken tenders!). They also make burgers here and have inside seating. They have clothing in the back..sandals...sunglasses and a ton of snacks! They have so many hot sauces you can try which is a nice touch. It's very casual with friendly service. If you want a healthier option then walk across the parking area to Orvs Farm Market! Easy freeway exit . Shell gas. Clean bathrooms. Grassy enclosed doggy area! read more

Stopped by Orv's Gas Station recently to fuel up and had a smooth, easy experience. I didn't get the chance to check out Orv's Farm Market since they were already closed when I arrived. The gas here is Shell. Pumps were working well and the area felt safe and well kept. They have a clean restroom located on the outside of the farm market building, super convenient, especially when you're on the road. That makes a big difference during a long drive. And also there's a tacos stand nearby on the street. read more

I mean, it's a food counter in a Shell gas station. It is what it is. The gal was working hard and seemed nice. The burger was pretty good, not amazing, and I tossed the potato wedges. Ordered online, which was an advantage, other than that I didn't realize it's a gas station. If I knew that...probably wouldn't have tried it out. read more

Best gas station, gift shop, dog friendly place! They have lots of specialty items/foods, drinks, fresh juice, vintage clothing, and all the childhood toys you used to play with! If you're traveling by this stop, it's worth it, your dog will thank you! read more

This place is comically overpriced. barely any vegan options. the only vegan snacks were vegan Rob's brand cheddar puffs and siete brand cookies. Staff told me none of their fresh foods were vegan, and they didn't know of anywhere near by that served vegan food. Maybe if they stocked more options for vegan folks, everything in the store wouldn't be covered with dust. No idea how they are making enough money to keep this place open. read more

We arrived at 6:00am, got gas, and tried to use the restroom. the lady working the counter on 3/7/25 @ 6am was rude and told me the janitor was working, if the door is locked. That was a lie because when my husband asked for a key, she called someone over to unlock it. Rude, unkind, and down right mean. Too bad because it's a cute place. read more

Who has two thumbs and orders a BLT from a chicken shack? This guy. My buddy did have the chicken sandwich though. I gave it 4 stars based on a relative scale. Its a place that sells fried chicken in a gas station, so adjust your expectations accordingly. The pre made food wasn't all that bad, and the made to order food was pretty good and reasonably priced to boot. They have a few dozen hot sauces to choose from as well. They had a "Farmers market" in the same lot with the same branding. Didn't try it but looked decent. read more

Posting again because it's magically not showing my review on the page . My family and I were driving through town when someone became ill. We decided to spend some time in the town as we weren't in a rush and were debating on staying put for the night. This place was a joke! Half of the pumps were broken and then their card system was down. We travel with little to no cash and use rewards on debit and credit cards for specific purchases. I don't know how the workers kept their cool after getting yelled at by so many customers. Clearly not their fault when things don't work. Why would they choose to make their day harder? Like they control the card system? Cameron and Christian were doing their best and were explaining a way to kind of get around the system being down. Obviously this meant more work for them, longer lines and more angry people. Kudos to those guys for keeping their cool. As I went to the vehicle to speak to my husband, I had a local make a comment that this stuff was nothing new. This place has had broken pumps for months. They also explained right over the freeway was LOVES and it was almost always cheaper but they lived next door to ORVS which was the only reason they stopped their first. Sure enough, literally over the over pass was cheaper gas with working machines. This place is great if you want an over priced knick knack. Clearly the owners don't care about keeping up on the actual gas part. read more

Interesting spot. Came to get a redbull and gas and saw they had a place selling fried chicken inside. Smelled good but didn't try it. A lot of other knick knacks inside too. Basically it's the last gas station before you get into upperlake or lower lake. Not the cleanest place outside but it's okay to just stop at for necessities. read more

Been coming to Orvs for a while now, but after an experience with two employees, I will not be returning. I was wearing a mask, but due to health problems and breathing problems I have, I simply just lowered my mask so I can breathe through my nose. (I still had my mouth covered and tried to cover my nose when I could.) The male employee immediately gave me attitude and told me sarcastically on how masks work. The female employee yelled at me, and did not want to give me my food until I wore my mask correctly. I apologized and left, then she continued to yell at me and said to learn how to wear a mask. I get the mandate but just be more professional Jesus. read more

Greg S. is the only review regarding Orv's that I can agree with - Pig Sty. 1) air conditioning did not work; 2) women's bathroom was dirty and no toilet paper; 3) flies flying around inside; 4) food in warmers not covered - have no idea how many flies may have landed on food; 5) - food like it had been there the better part of a day; 6) eating area tables dirty and not bussed; 7) fueling area and parking lot looked like the worst part of a third world country ... garbage everywhere, including food scrapes .... I'll spare you points 8) on wards. Stay clear get your gas elsewhere sums it up. read more

A wonderful family owned, local business! I appreciate the helpful, friendly staff that works there. Not only is it a perfect stop for some gas on your way up North, but also has great food including good chicken, yummy turkey wraps made in-house, craft beer selection, and healthy snacks. Besides food the store has lots of unique, fun novelty gift items. I will definitely stop by for some gas, delicious food, and a little shopping next time I am up that way. read more

This place is a pig sty. they have gone down hill. they don't clean there pump area or the parking lot. one pump has been down for days with the same diesel soaked sawdust under it. I have to fill my co truck here a lot. I might have to start wearing bags over my work boots. ill probably have to report them to consumer affairs before we all get sick read more

Ordered the cheeseburger and fries. The patty was meaty and didn't feel premade. Very cheesy with American and cheddar. Onions, pickle, lettuce, tomato, and just the right amount of grease ;) ate it without condiments. Oh, and the bun...super fluffy. You must try this place if you are passing thru! read more

Stopped in for a sandwich while on a road trip. Was going to go to Togos but after reading the reviews opted for Orvs. I had a BLT which was good and my husband had the cheese steak which was very good. Also located in a good spot. We were traveling with our dog and there is a park right next to the station with a dog area. Think we found our new place to stop on the way up to Portland. read more

Orv's is our regular stop when traveling to visit family in Willits. I love the convenience and cleanliness of gas, restrooms, and food (yummy) in one stop! What a great experience! I've been to a lot of convenience stores traveling up and down California freeways and find this place to be my complete favorite place to grab a bite or even buy a few fun gifts for friends and family! No matter when I stop it seems that they always have a stocked store and friendly staff. But what I really look forward to is the great food! The chicken is always fresh and the BURGERS!!! This is one of my favorite spots when I'm going up Highway 5 or down. This is a convenience store and much more - there is something there for everyone! What a fun place! Besides the great food in the deli it is a fully loaded store with tons of gifts and souvenirs. There is always something there for a loved one or friend. Anyway, back to the food - the burgers there are amazing - fresh, Angus beef for their hamburgers - wow! The chicken is fantastic with their own custom, spicy breading. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I just go to their grab and go case that's loaded with delicious, fresh sandwiches, healthy wraps, fruit and cheese and lots more. If you are there early for breakfast - try one of their breakfast burritos - to die for or the chicken and waffles is really good also :-). Check it out and you'll be glad that you did! read more

Saw the billboard off hwy 99 so thought I would give it a try. It takes me to a gas station, no big deal. I like greasy whole in the wall diners anyways. I thought it might be someone renting out part of it for there restaurant, nope! It's a gas station clerk frying food. Ok, still no biggie. I'm hungry. I'll still try it. I ordered a chicken sandwich combo. The clerk squinched her face in concern so I asked her if that was ok. Her reply... I don't know how to make that. It was not a special order, simple #5 (or it might have been 15) with everything. I'm easy. Still no big deal, I drove out of my way to get here I'll still try it. She asks asks another lady on her break in Spanish how to make it. She replies to tell me there out of chicken patties. Lol. Yep. Not only are the a chicken shack that doesn't know how to cook chicken, they are also out of chicken. I couldn't believe it. This happened on 2/27/17 at 5:50pm. Hope Managment fixes the problem. Never let the image of a gas station fool you! This place has anything and everything you could want.....snacks, cold beverages, but once you walk in......BAM !! You find soooooo much throughout the store!! Great gifts for all ages and tastes . Food is made fresh and the sit down area is a great place to de-stress from driving!!! Don't be discouraged by the line you might face....worth the wait for everything, besides if there was no one inside....I would be worried!!! People come because it's a one stop for everyone and you will smile just looking around!! read more
