Incredible lack of training for everyone here. A Friday late afternoon order and payment at the self-service kiosk sent a mgr and 3 or 4 others into a melt-down. My guess is that not many people use the Apple pie. kiosk/computer. 1) it was out of paper (?) so could not print a receipt. "Can I take your order ?" No, I ordered on the computer. You did? (I guess not many 70 year old deaf guys don't know how to use a pooter.) outside, shabbily-vested outside person comes in: Uh, Can I help you? Nooooo - I ordered. Later...someone else: did you order over there? Yessss. One of several huddles at the finished-items associate-pickup post. Side-bars going on between other workers, whispering and glancing at the old deaf guys. (You do not have to whisper ; I cannot hear you. The "issue" finally comes to light as they push my bag to me. I opened it. Only 1 apple pie. I had placed a $5 bill on the counter thinking maybe the pooter did not ring up the 2nd pie. I finally got a hand signal 5 and lip read it would be 5 minutes before another one was done. In amazement, I took what I had. No refunds offered. 1. Put a sticky on your kiosk...no receipts. 2. Put paper in it. 3. Sync it with what you actually have. (Pooter should have said we only have 1 apple pie and it's old so we will give it to you. 4. Train your people in managing by exception sine they are clueless when something is out of norm. -- pooter order has something we do not have. Immediate escalation to mgr. I live in Gainesville, but was visiting in Whitesboro so we got 2 hamburgers and one large order of fries, at the drive thru, to take to Gainesville and eat at home. I got home and found out we didn't get the fries. Not going to go all the way back to Whitesboro, but sent an email to the email address on the receipt. After getting no response, I sent an email to corpororate. I got a written response from the Whitesboro location was basically so sorry, sucks that we did that but we are going to do nothing about it. I will stick with Sonic. read more

This McDonald's is certainly one of the lesser locations. Despite first seeing the dirty, sticky, generally unclean floors and otherwise, and though the ice dispenser clearly violated multiple health codes with its light, flesh pink hue coating the sides of the glass, we made the mistake of giving it a chance. The restaurant was nearly empty (and I can see why) when we took our order. At least three times it was made clear we wanted egg and ***cheese biscuits, and on the receipt it CLEARLY charged for cheese, the entire bag of food was another disappointment, and nothing short of a third strike. We waited almost fifteen minutes for our order to be brought out to us. When it was, the worker called out EGG AND CHEESE biscuits, and we grabbed our bag and dashed back out to the car. We couldn't go to the drive thru since we were pulling the RV with us for vacation and it'd be uncomfortable to worm through the line of cars. But imagine the disappointment nonetheless after we were far gone and back on the highway when we opened up the wrappers and discovered that there was **no cheese.** No cheese. It was too late to turn back, to everyone's dismay. Though judging a book by the outside is unwise, the same sentiments clearly don't apply to fast food restaurants. The morning shift is great and the guy taking your order during the morning is very pleasant to deal with and always in a good mood but god don't go there after they leave.
