We came through drive thru and this was our first visit to any Taco Casa location. That being said, we weren't sure of portion sizes or menu selections beforehand, so we ordered a little extra just in case. The portion sizes are PERFECT. I ordered the Supreme burrito not knowing if it was big or not and added on a bean burrito. That Super was served on a big tortilla and had fresh ingredients! My husband ordered the Super Nachos and was so pleasant surprised with how much of each topping they gave for the chips. AND they had the toppings separate! They did NOT dump everything on top of the chips like most places tend to do, woohoo! We both looked at each other when we saw they had one plate for chips and one for the toppings. Awesome place! This location is a newer Taco Casa (compared to the one we had in Sherman or the one across the river in Durant) Simple menu, but they do it well. They're not skimpy on beans or cheese. Exactly the way it should be. Their super nachos are excellent, especially when you get all ingredients separated into individual dishes (like they do for the drive thru) then your chips don't get soggy and you can mix & match each bite exactly how you like it. This location has a large parking lot that's great for big trucks and those with trailers. We love Taco Casa!! We are from Sherman and thanks to stupid Covid lost the TC we had, so we no longer have one in our neck of the woods (big sad!) So we enjoy it when we can come over and grab some in Whitesboro! We sure would love it if another TC opened up in Sherman! Then we wouldn't have to drive so far. read more

Um I don't know who is the blame for this but it has happened a couple time now that I've come through and I keep getting jalapeño juice like a decent amount in my food even though I didn't even order them.... Drink & food at the drive through. No straw, no napkins, no silverware, & no sauce. At least give a straw & napkins. Silverware depends on the food & sauce can always be requested. Parked & came inside to get the items. Employee with terrible diarrhea changing in the big stall. Luckily she was good home. (Dear manager - if she claimed to be sick, she wasn't faking it. It was real) She rinses her hands 2-3 seconds, grabs the paper towel & heads out. No soap. No washing. Young blonde girl, no wonder you're sick. Gross. I'm tired of the service, the wait times, and the lack of food that you receive. I came in and ordered a salad and it had MAYBE one bite of beef/beans. The entire thing was a pile of cheese and drenched in sour cream. I opened and showed the "manager" and she responded with "You could pay for extra meat and beans."I said no, I payed $9 and didn't receive any to begin with. Typically love us some taco casa. This facility doesn't do taco casa justice. Burritos are so unevenly stuffed and literally falls out the bottom of them every time. The tacos have SO much cheese it overwhelms the entire thing it's not even enjoyable. read more

Everytime I go through drive thru my order is always messed up SOME WAY. And the drive thru employees never do their job correctly, been through multiple times and asked for hot sauce, they say it's in the bag, then you get back on the road and have no hot sauce. It's not that difficult to do your job correctly, this place needs to hire employees that CARE. read more

I'm pretty much in love with this Taco Casa. I drive past this jernt nearly every other Friday and it's about this far into our trip that the chubby kid that lives in my tummy starts yelling for a spicy combination burrito. The food has consistently been fresh and you can tell it's made to order. They always way over-cheese your stuff with that wonderful Taco Casa sharp shredded cheddar but that's a good thing. My only complaint, like David S, is that they often don't roll their burritos up right. We've even commented on going inside and teaching these silly kids how to fold a damn burrito so your burrito innards don't fall out. C'mon teenagers, get it together! Best fast food straws too. Nothing but beef on the menu here, where is the chicken or tongue or lamb. Come on guys, increase that menu just slightly. Place was not that good, beef not that flavorful, other ingredients seemed fresh. If you're desperate it's food but I just did not think they've done all they can to make their taco meat as flavorful as possible and it's consistency, in my opinion, of the beef, is almost like a liquified beef with no consistency or chewiness, more of a slurp it up kind of taco meat. The taco sauce (claimed to be hot) was bland and not hot at all but I understand this is the Midwest not South America or Mexico City. At least offer it if wanted. I saved it in my Garmin and named it (AVOID AT ALL COSTS, BREAK OUT THE EMERGENCY SNACKS TO MAJE IT TO THE NEXT TOWN/RESTAURANT). I should have heeded the accurate Yelp reviews but again, we were desperate. Adequate parking, although parking lot is very dark. I did not make it to the restrooms, ordering and table delivery by employees was adequate. No chicken al all.........whatttttt?
