When I returned, there were several employees surrounding my wife in front of the entire dining room. The hostess stated she did not recognize me, and the waiter, who had already served us multiple times, initially failed to remember us as well. My wife attempted to show proof of payment on her phone, but it would not load due to network issues. The waiter had also already removed the receipt from our table. After I reminded the waiter of our drink order and details from our service, he finally remembered us and confirmed we had paid. By that point, however, my wife had already been publicly embarrassed while numerous guests watched the situation unfold. We understand mistakes can happen, but the way this situation was handled was extremely unprofessional and humiliating. We hope this matter is addressed so future guests are not treated similarly.

There were animals all around; so my son got a five dollar feed bucket and visited a good many animals. The wagon beds were great, came with a/c, a lantern and a tv. They are also linked to an rv resort with a pool just across the road so we spent the afternoon there. It was a great way to spend the night. I would have loved to try the food but we were a bit late to the game and had to leave out too early My only caveat, while I appreciate the in person welcome, my brain cannot process the explanation of the whole book. You need an abbreviated version for parents. I literally forgot half of what we were told before she was finished. They.have lodging, a restaurant, a spa, and animal encounters as well, I can only speak for our one night though. 1 recommendation- bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper, dogs, peacocks and roosters aren't known for quiet. I slept fine with ear plugs in though.

Check in can take a while with everyone arriving at the earliest check in time. I like that they keep the casino clean and its isles are wheelchair friendly. We enjoy playing the slots and black jack. I've been lucky enough to win more often than not. We've received promotional offers with free nights, food and game credits. I love that! Overall, it's an okay place to meet up, but there are a few things that keep it from being more than a 3 star experience for me. One of the biggest disappointments is that the casino no longer offers free drinks, which I definitely expect from a casino this size. We've stayed in both the Pool Tower and the Casino Tower. The chair in the Pool Tower room was extremely uncomfortable, while the Casino Tower room had a much more comfortable chair with an ottoman. Also, not always the cleanest. The valet is another downside. The wait to get your car can be pretty long, which gets frustrating when you're ready to leave. Most of the restaurants are fine, but honestly, nothing really stood out enough to make me want to go back just for the food. It's a convenient place for us to meet since it's halfway, but overall, Winstar is more of an average experience for me than somewhere I'd go out of my way to visit.
