The worst food, the worst customer service you can't ever imagine. I will never come back ever again. I bought my family here. It took 40 minutes to bring beers. Over one hour to bring food. Also food was cold. I called the manager. She came purposely after I stepped out from the table. My son saids the manager came right after I left (knowing that I left my table) then she came to ask what's wrong. After waiting for so long. I had to go to the bathroom. I asked a manager again. I told our drinks came after 40 mins. Then food came one hour later and food was cold. My waitress was constantly going to her favorite table and she does not acknowledge us. I ordered prime rib. It was overcooked and dry. We also ordered chicken fried steaks, chicken tenders and pasta. Everything was cold. ( it was sitting by the kitchen for so long.) The cafe Manager sucks. She didn't do anything to correct this problem. No wonder this restaurant had not many people there eating. I wanted to go to other restaurant but other winstar restaurants were packed due to the Santana concert. I would rather go to the fast food restaurant. I will never go back here. We came to the casino for a concert and decided to grab a bite to eat. Almost every other restaurant had a ridiculous line but there was minimal wait when we came here. We ordered the spare ribs as an appetizer and while they were good, they were so messy! haha For an entree, I ordered the turkey club. Solid food. I think the corned beef hash is a winner. Good price too. I'd prefer to go here over IHOP. It was pretty busy, but it's a big restaurant so you probably won't have to wait. Definitely one of the better options for food here at Winstar. Good atmosphere, great service, and decent food. I'd recommend the Western Omelette. Fluffy and thick with crispy, light potatoes. We got another voucher for Winstar to use a $25 dollar one and my wife had $50 dollars worth. We were able to get food for my brother's girlfriend and brother included without going over the budget. We ordered the following 1. Chicken Sandwich with chips - very moist and would order again 2. Chicken wings with buffalo - not too bad 3. Honey glazed ribs - very great would get again 4. On this trip to winstar casino I went to the pool and ate a snack while I read a novel. I ordered a pitcher of mi tai's which was $36 bucks for a total of 3 very iced filled drinks. I also ordered a watermelon salad which was cut in wedge style so I had to eat it with a knife and fork. The salad included blueberries,sliced almonds,a yogurt sauce,fresh mint, honey,candied peaches and green grapes! Sounds amazing and tasted ok. There was too much mint not enough yogurt dressing and the promise of green grapes ended up being one 1/2 of a very small grape. If an ingredient is listed in a salad then it should be present and I should have not had to hunt for it! It should have been at least 5 whole grapes cut in half just as much as the blueberries were. The server was friendly and was able to quickly get our order in and it arrived looking good. I ordered the potato chips which were yummy but needed salt. I ate all of them. The mi tai were delicious however I would have preferred that the drink tasted sweeter( just me). The fruit (pineapple)that was garnished the drink was not either in season or just not sweet. The pool side area was clean and the music was nice to hear and added a Caribbean vibe. I would have preferred some line dancing type music! The pool was a nice break from the casino. read more

QR code in the rooms. We had the most peppy, friendly, attentive server she was helpful with the menu and the offered/comps on our two player cards. She checked in on us often and just had the best personality. The food was delicious and made to our order specifications. We both had the farmers omelette, I added sausage to mine and he added jalapeños to his. The omelettes are served with potatoes toast or biscuits. We don't eat the bread so we asked them not to bring it out (no waste). I added a side of sweet potato fries and they were my favorite. Perfect cut, perfect crispness and not greasy paired with a small side of ranch and I could eat two orders. This is not the first visit or the last. When you get some bonus credit at Winstar you use it for Breakfast. We have eaten here several times over the last year. The breakfast is really good. Filled with lots of choices to please any palette. I got the Belgian Waffles served with strawberries, blueberries and whip cream for indulging that sweet tooth. My husband loves the Big breakfast with the Eggs, sausage, bacon, diced potatoes and toast. We also got a bowl of fruit. which ended up being a large around saucer full of a variety of mixed fruit. The service is slow before 8a, we sat about 10 mins before being waited on. Once she acknowledged us, serves was great. I would recommend eating breakfast or lunch here. The views are awesome, as they have full floor to ceiling windows overlooking the large outdoor patio and pool area. It's a lil pricey for a casino but most of them are at any. read more

Can I just say this is my spot for food when I come to Winstar. I don't want Toby Keith's, Kirbys and the standard buffet that really leaves me under impressed! Give me a pool view table in this upscale modern decorated eatery, with a fresh cup of joe and that delish ass breakfast quesadilla! I like to mix the guacamole, salsa, and sour cream together that comes on the plate. Each quesadilla slice has a hefty amount of chorizo, scrambled eggs and cheese and it's simply yummy! I've sampled some pasta and the chicken sandwich with fries. Both delish as well and I could see myself ordering just fries (potatoe head)! Service has been great as well. read more

When I'm here at the casino for a few days, I can always count on the Terrace View Cafe to be able to order something not deep fried. I've eaten there before and would prefer to order to go. As well as their Prime rib for a late night coffee shop. No longer 24hrs. This is one of the spots I prefer to eat in the resort for a simple meal. And it's away from the casino smoke. read more

Came in late on a Saturday morning. The wait was 45 minutes and I was informed via text that it would be longer because the kitchen was backed up. Many tables were also empty. Many of the employees seemed to be scrambling to accommodate everyone. Appeared to be poor planning somewhere. It's Saturday morning in the middle of summer at the world's largest casino, surely you know you're going to be busy. However we were actually seated before the 45 minutes we were told. Wow what can I say. Very disappointed in how this cafe by the hotel is managed. We went in and sat down around 9pm. Not overly crowded just a handful of tables full. The waitress came by our table and said its going to be awhile before I take your order I have 6 tickets to ring up first. (A table full of woman all paid separately) We said okay. Now why didn't this waitress take our order first and turn it in before ringing up 6 tickets? RUDE!! 15 min later takes our order 2 spicy chicken on waffles sandwich. Omg. She comes out about 9:40 pm says here is your food the cook forgot to put sauce on your chicken here is a side of sauce. We cut into our "chicken" it was NOT chicken it was chicken fried steak. Lol omg here it is 40 minutes of sitting there we get this messed up plate of food. We stayed polite and nice. We send our food back stating we are leaving. She tells us to stay. Well we ended up leaving after 15 more minutes of waiting for them to fix our order. She chases us down all the way to the casino telling us to come back !! Omg this is crazy after a hour wait with no food we said No Thanks. We are eating elsewhere. They ruined our night by making us wait over a hour. This place is never managed good ! Always a wait and never enough wait staff on duty. This was the last place we went to at Winstar. Tried all the other venues. A big plus was that it is the closest restaurant to the pool towers, nestled next to Rotunda bar. We were tabled closer to windows, but no so close that the sun was blinding. It over looks pool area and had tables outside usually, but not at this time. For drinks, I opted for a few bottles of Dos XX's beer. My appetizer consisted of Mozzarella Moons. Well done and infused with a good amount of Mozzarella cheese. It actually had a nice pull when biting into it. Along side served was some tomato basil sauce. Parmesian cheese was sprinkled on top. Dish was a bit pricey but decidedly delicious. Moving on to the main course. It was Beef Bolognese. Pieces of tender roast beef,caramelized onions, linguini and a cheese stuffed bread stick. Sauce was tasteless, but I was able to rescue by adding the rest of the Mazarella Moons sauce. Linguini was fine. Cheese infused bread stick was not a high light. Not sure if it was the cheese or quality of bread stick; it just didn't hold up. Service was exceptional and timely. Next time we will do breakfast there. I would put this in the better half of Winstar restaurants. read more

Asked the waitress about it and she said that their sandwiches don't come with pickles so I pointed out on the menu where every sandwich says that it comes with a pickle on the side. Her answer was,"oh really well I'll let the cook know that for next time". That really didn't help at all cause we still didn'tget our freaking pickle. When we asked for a drink menu (looking for wine), we were directed to the bottom of the menu, where the soft drinks were listed. Not exactly what we were looking for, and that left us confused. Aside from the poor service, the food took quite some time. The three of us chose dinner entrees, and I went with the grilled chicken with veggies and mashed potatoes. It was cold when it arrived, and the chicken was rubbery, but the mashed potatoes made up for it. Of the meals I tried, I wish I would have gotten the chicken fried steak, as it was the only thing that tasted like it was made from scratch. Doesn't look like much from the entrance but when you walk in, you can tell everything is nice and clean. All the tables are really spaced out and gives each person more than enough room. When we ate here it wasn't busy at all ( around 5pm )Maybe 3 other tables the whole time. Our waitress was very nice. And made sure we were taken care of. For my meal I had the chicken fried chicken. It was cooked perfectly and had just the right amount of gravy on top. The green beans were delicious. The garlic mashed potatoes on the other hand were a bit dry. And cold. I think we may have found our favorite restaurant at Winstar. Terrace View is clean, bright, comfortable, and it has a full bar with seating. Along with this, it's in the lobby of the Hotel, near the front desk. So convenient when you want breakfast, or a snack before going to your room. We enjoyed the company and conversation of Stacey, our bartender, and she was very attentive to our needs. The food was wonderful. We were there for lunch, and enjoyed the lunch combo options, along with a Mushroom and Swiss Burger. There are so many good things about this restaurant (besides Stacey). It's open 24/7, and breakfast is served around the clock. No long lines, a variety of seating choices, and a great outside view. read more

I came here at 3:00 in the morning and ordered the All American. Two eggs, bacon, potatoes, and toast. I ordered my eggs over medium, if you like runny yolks, then you know that is a lot to ask. My eggs were cooked PERFECTLY. It was delicious and I polished it off. It is on their late night menu so it was only like $6. They even had cholula and brought it out with a condiment tray, without my asking. I stayed in the hotel and visited the casino but that breakfast was the highlight of my trip. A party of five walked out after waiting 1:40 minutes and they still had not received their order. This is insane! The problem here is the same as runs through all the staff and functions at the WinStar Casino and Hotel; It's the minor leagues and it shows. Most of the dining selections at WinStar are "fast casual", with the Terrace View having very reasonable prices, but still touted as one of the "better" places to eat. We had dinner here. The employees are all friendly and want to be helpful, but obviously lack any training. The hostess walked us through the nearly empty restaurant to a two top in the very center of the empty room, a table no one would want unless the place was packed. She did willingly move us to a more comfortable table I pointed out. The menu choices ("Traditional American with Urban Flair") have nothing that really wow's you, but does offer a twofer that includes a salad and dessert while saving you a dollar or two. A pleasant, sweet server took our order; two salads, a chicken parm and a chicken fried steak, and she wanted to complete the order by asking for our dessert order at the same time. There is nothing on the dessert menu that requires advanced ordering. The salads appeared in minutes, with the entrees literally arriving less than a minute or two later. The waitress apologized, which begs the question exactly why the entrees were prepared so quickly. Seems nobody here including the hostess, server, chef/cook, or manager has any clue how sit down dining is handled. They clearly have no guidance or training and common sense doesn't seem to come into play. Everything served that night was Denny's quality - not good, not bad. If you're hungry enough you eat it, and that includes the out of the box piece of Pecan pie. If you expect to be dazzled by the "world's largest casino", count on the dazzling to end with a thud at the Terrace View Cafe. read more

Speak of losing money at gambling and realizing al those hours spent gained you a free meal After about 6 hours of gambling, one of the gamblers at the table told us of this deal where players with a Winstar player card have played for certain number of hours is eligible for a 'voucher' that can be used to dine in at a few restaurants close by. We chose terrace view and it's not a poor choice like my gambling that night haha. Ambience is pleasant. There is seating by the pool and inside seating too, we were seated inside. Ordered breakfast for three- all omelettes. I went with terrace view omelette and friends ordered veggie omelette. All tasted great. The fruits were fresh and bread was okay too. Bread Options were good, actually: rye,wheat,white and sour dough. Loved my sour dough bread smeared with butter I requested for sour cream which I never got, so they lose one star there. I am a sucker for customer service you see Overall , I am satisfied. I didn't pay a penny for the food. The omelettes came to about 12$ a pop, which got covered by the voucher. Good deal, right?
