Customer service 0/5 Whoever took my order was rude! Food 0/5 I had been wanting to try this place that was open during my lunch break on Mondays & decided to stop by here. Ordered a quesadilla with beef. $9 later. I asked why is there no salad on the side like the picture? Or rice & beans. She said it was the kids quesadilla. I pointed and told her the number I wanted when I ordered. She got argumentative with me. Said I did not order that, she TOLD ME, my order was a kids quesadilla. I told her the sign says $4.65? For kids quesadilla, so what was my order $9? For a kids quesadilla???? I just got my order and left. Opened the box and it was terrible. I had what looked like a wheat tortilla, that's new to me from a taco stand. Tasted burnt with cheap American or sharp cheese and it tasted horrible!! 4 small squares. I only ate one and threw the rest in the trash. DEFINITELY do not recommend this place. I'll just continue to order from Taco Hondumex Taco Bus. They are the BEST in town!! Their quesadilla is $6 and loaded with meat, fresh Mexican cheese, lettuce, sour cream, and their verde salsa is so good. Skip loco taco here and hit up the bus!! 5/5! read more

I really enjoy this place. It's real Mexican food vs Tex-Mex... This is not a sit down restaurant but a food stand in the parking lot connected to the CVS in Sherman. My favorite are the Chicken burrito with boiled chicken and green peppers with onions. Add some green hot sauce and it's awesome. I'm very sad... I liked this place. I would go periodically and enjoyed the value. Not the best Burritos and Tacos I've ever had but decent for the price. They have duct taped over their prices on their menu boards and charge new unknown prices that are definitely not a value. Two Carne Asada burritos, that cannot compare to something size wise like Chipotle, one order of cheese enchiladas 3 very small 3-1/2" long and big around as a dime with 1/4 cup of rice and beans, and over cooked (burnt) chips with salsa... $26.50. Everything tasted pretty good. I would say it's about a five out of ten, but great service. They were very polite. A very small shack next to CVS, there are about four parking spots in front of it, right next to the ice building. Ambiance was so so. There were picnic tables outside. This is a tiny gem! We came for the Carne Asada Buritos and left with much more. I can't wait to try many more things off their menu. If I could have ate any more I would have got their elote, it looked pretty good. The prices are very reasonable, and the food was worth the drive. Will be returning! Refried beans had great flavor and rice was good as well . * Single pork tamale, not great. It was dry immediately out of the package. Once we got it home it was a little corn brick. I happened to see it on my way to somewhere else and decided to stop. It's a small building with a walk up window and 4 picnic tables covered by an awning of sorts. They had a $5.99 enchilada special advertised, so I ordered one of those, one single tamale, and chips & salsa. We sat at a picnic table and waited not even 5 minutes before our order was ready. We tasted everything right away, then packed it up to take home. I was disappointed in 2 things; my enchiladas could have been hotter. The cheese inside wasn't melted, and the tamale was just too dried out to eat, BUT, the flavor of everything else more than made up for both. The lady owner is rude and she barely understands English. They will laugh at you and talk in Spanish about you. I rather eat else we're. My husband doesn't speak Spanish so sometimes him and his friends go eat and one friend quit going because they always got his order wrong but now we won't be back but don't complain because then they will talk about you. read more

I've always heard people raving about this place so my grandfather wanted to try it out! I actually didn't eat the food but I ordered it and I'm writing the review for my grandfather. He got the enchilada special (beef) and three carne asada tacos. The man working there was really nice. When we got the food, the first thing we noticed was how good everything smelled. You don't have to ask for cilantro and onions because they are complimentary. The food is very authentic Mexican food and my grandfather enjoyed it a lot -- and he usually doesn't even like Mexican food. Wanted to try this place (before the pandemic) but we eat vegan so we decided to ask about the beans and rice and see if any lard us used or animal broth. We wanted to support local and authentic. We walked up to the window and I asked a couple of questions. Mind you, we were the only ones there. No line. Nobody waiting. The man said that they did not use lard in their beans but couldn't get a confident enough answer about the rice. He made me feel dismissed and rushed as I tried to ask if I could customize certain easy things on their menu. He could have been having a bad day and we were already there, so I went ahead and gave it a try. I ended up getting a good-sized burrito that had fries and beans and not much else inside with their hot sauce. It was way overpriced for what it was and how bland it tasted. It wasn't horrible though... just decided that I wouldn't wanted to spend that price there with Crazy Thai doing awesome vegan dishes down just down the road. Plus, he didn't seem confident in his own ingredients, nor very patient and helpful. I may try again in the future but I won't lie, I was turned off by the whole thing. I also run a local vegan group and mainly went to share my experience and hopefully get more vegans out to try their food and support local businesses buuut I decided against sharing this with my members. I just hope my future visit will be more positive. I would love to update this saying that next go 'round. read more

Really good food for really cheap prices. They could be a little more sanitary (gloves, not touching hair, washing hands between orders).

Ordered three of the three small tacos along with other items and upon delivery two of the orders weren't there. We contacted them and explained what happened expecting to just get the tacos and the lady insisted that we pay extra money for the tacos we already purchased and refused to look at our receipt and showed a different receipt that wasn't even ours. I have a picture of our actual receipt that shows the price we paid and the receipt she showed us was $13 less than we paid. read more
