I eat at this location often since it's close to my work, & I'm always trying to grab my food quickly & get back to work. I thought I was an expert on their app, but a few weeks ago hubby told me about the meal deal he gets for $5.00. Sure enough they have meal deals for $5, $6 & $7. I for one am tired of spending way too much money on fast food for lunch. So I got the $6 meal deal for lunch. I ordered the double cheeseburger meal. I got the double cheeseburger, 4 chicken nuggets, small fries & upgraded my unsweetened iced tea to a large at no additional cost. Now that's a good deal! This is the McDonald's closest to our house so it is usually the one we would frequent. Most visits here are good and without incident. On Saturday however my wife's coming home from the hospital had her craving a typical comfort item which I popped inside to get as she waited in the car, anxious to get home and in to bed. Her desired craving and comfort was not met, but after assistance from Andrew that evening and the store manager the next morning they made everything more than right and kept our confidence level about this location at a high level. Every time I come to this McDonald's there's a super amazing nice and awesome employee who truly lives by the golden rule. He has top notch customer service and honestly can't believe he's only working at McDonald's and not the head boss of some customer service training facility. This guy should be training and teaching everyone how to be an employee at just about anywhere. He should be the face of videos that stores show their employees on how to act, behave and treat customers. When I find out his name I'm going to update this review with it. But seriously. I've been to many McDonald's locations with my twin boys and this is by far our favorite. The food tastes better here. As if everything has just come off the fryer right at the perfect moment. Not sitting under a heat lamp at all either. Idk what they are doing different but it's noticeable. The service is almost as if you're in a restaurant, not a fast food restaurant. This is your typical McDonald's fast-food joint with their regular brand menu and occasional seasonal special offerings. As a rare junk food-eater I've for years dutifully tried almost everything on their menu at least once, except this outlet. Somehow, Overall experiences are not bad! To make it easy to gauge each of these joints across the country, when I infrequently do try them, whether eating in or driving through, I've devised a scale of 1 to 5 with 1 being outright down and dirty nasty, and 5 being the best a fast-food joint I think it could be! I gauge by: 1) cleanliness; 2) service; 3) product quality, taste and consistency; 4) convenience and accessibility; 5) taste and quality of product and 6) the staff's attitude, disposition and customer service level. This place scores (and I'm pushing it) 2.5 of 5.0. I must be honest, having visited this specific McDonald's 55 times (according to my Yelp tally), and only for breakfast drive thru or inside (for their McMuffin meal with hash browns and coffee or orange juice to be exact). It was visit number 55 that spurred me to write this review. For the first time, number 55 was the best McMuffin in the 55 visits to this location and one the few dozen or so in 52 years of McMuffin's existence and my having them - that says something really inspiring about the consistency which these Fast-food outlets are supposed to offer, or not! read more

honestly for a mcdonald's this place is great. i come here often as i live nearby and ive never had an issue with rudeness or incorrect orders. sure, sometimes the drive through people are less than enthusiastic, but ive worked fast food before and i don't expect them to be over the moon about the worst job ever, lol. Jonathan, who i believe is a manager but i'm not sure, is awesome. the first time our order was ever messed up, it got handed out to someone else by accident, he was very friendly, apologetic and quick to resolve the issue, and told us his name "in case we wanted to complain." no worries, jonathan, i hope they give you a raise. 10/10 edit: to further credit him, they were super swamped while this all happened and he still got it resolved ASAP. way to go jonathan read more

It's McDonald's simple as that. They've done significant remodeling to accommodate a growing trend across the country and this cone is pretty cool. Before the pandemic, we would enjoy the video games around the table that had everyone laughing and a nicely designed playroom jungle gym... but that keeps them from eating as they can be distracted. Lots of traffic at the entrance so sit on the opposite side, enjoy the view and get comfortable with the wifi... Again, that was life before the pandemic. This was the voted option for a quick bike ride destination when the family was cravin a fountain drink or hot fries. The play area was always kept tidy & clean and it includes touch screen games. The inside decor has changed to reflect the "new modern" theme. Why do I stop though, it's for the seasonal (and occasional) McRib, fries, and most importantly a "Medium Coke"... yeap, these are the things that keep me coming back. I like a well-carbonated Coke and McDonald's process for Coke is universal and nothing comes close. I'm not a big fan of the burgers as many other options are available, hence the McRib, but it's mainly for nostalgic purposes as it reminds me of my childhood. I do find myself getting the occasional Happy Meal for the Fries and a drink... Ok, and maybe the Toy... and I'll pass on the sandwich to someone in need nearby. The fact that they take ApplePay and other forms of electronic payments has been a plus for me as I use my watch all the time. It is McDonald's, and honestly, they would get more of my business, but the specials they offer rarely make any sense... Free new pastry week with a coffee purchase. At this location, went inside after mobile order and had no issues. The coffee, as always, is very good and this new apple fritter was probably better than any fritter in any grocery store. It was less sugary than most and had a good amount of apples. This location has its share of the ups and downs. Ups: Good location, as it close to my work & easily accessible for me. The restaurant is nice on the inside and very clean. Downs: the customer Service could really see some help. Most of the employees I have interacted with whether in the drive thru or insIde the restaurant have been friendly and quite helpful. The reason for my three star rating?? There were 2 separate visits I paid to the drive thru to get a large Diet Coke & a side salad for my lunch. The first time the drive thru employee taking orders gave me a bad attitude & was very rude. I was there super early in the morning (6 am) & she was fIne until I asked for the side salad. She rudely responded "We don't serve those. It's breakfast time so please order a breakfast." I nonchalantly told her that I have asked for a salad this early before & have been accommodated before without any problem. She reiterated to me again that salads are not served that early and I repeated myself once again. Finally I heard a manager say "We will have that salad for you right away". The second visit, I placed my order...after waiting, I kid you not...nearly FIVE minutes for someone to take my order. I get to the window and the employee read me off a different order. I told her it wasn't my order and told her what I ordered. She had to ask if anyone even took my order. Unbelievable! She finally got everything taken care of. To the GM of this location: WTF with the door being locked at 8:30 a.m. right during the middle of breakfast hours on a work day? If you are even interested I was one of at least five(5) people turned away in less than 5 minutes today. My husband just went through the drive-thru and the person working the window that takes payment (right now at 1:20 pm AZ time, 08/20) took time in an already busy line to ask my husband why he had images of ammunition on his shirt - it's my husband's work shirt - he works for a munitions company. The emoloyee asked if it was legal, then told my husband he was "problematic". This person had facial piercings, which we don't care about at all (Who cares about what people look like? Let's respect each other!) but I mention it to help you describe the person that needs to be educated on how to leave their opinions at home. I will absolutely be reporting this up. After waiting for a long unmoving drive thru line, we jumped out of line and went inside. Everyone was socially distanced when I went inside. Nobody was receiving their orders. Pretty soon it was packed inside. SOCIALLY UNDISTANCED. Our order was butchered. 15 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 Sausage McMuffins with Egg. Received coffee right after ordering. Coffee luke warm when food arrived. After leaving we discovered one of the McMuffins was ham, not sausage. I witnessed another guy get his order then wait for coffee about 5 minutes. The lid was barely affixed to the cup. He almost got burned. Several other customers received butchered orders. SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. The staff was near panic, but remained courteous. read more

I love McDonald's. This is definitely one of my favorite McD locations in the East Valley. They are always quick and get my order correct. Their drive thru lines are surprisingly never too busy! Thankfully, they do have two separate drive through lanes to help ease and mitigate the consumer congestion. The inside is clean, they have the standardized modern McDonald's interior design. I find this l be interesting, with the dining bar situated directly in the center, which replicated a feeling of nostalgia back into the original bar-hop and drive-in days. read more

I agree with the previous reviews. This location's customer service, food speed and food quality is top notch for McDonald's as well as other fast food restaurants. However, the last time I was in, the store was NOT clean. The floors were sticky, the soda fountain station was filthy. The bathrooms look like they hadn't been service for at least 6 hours. I decided to stop here after work and grab a bite to eat before heading home. Bad mistake. First I was charged for someone else's order since the man at the register did not confirm my order. It took him a few minutes to recognize his mistake, then asked me to check the receipt. There was no apology for the mistake. Neither by the employee nor the manager. After I was reimbursed and the correct transaction was completed, I obtained and tasted my sweet tea. It didn't taste right and asked for another one. Second one was just as nasty. Fries were dark brown from being old or overcooked. Perhaps both. Chicken nuggets were stale. I've never had so many problems in one visit here, but today was pretty horrible. Food was hot, AMAZING, order perfect & the parking lot and both lines packed. However we went through fast and went through with ease. We are very health minded so we had the egg white delight with sausage. Highly recommend. I placed an online order but waited 15 min PLUS the time the app in the parking lot and watched every other car after me pull out from the drive thru. I got a medium Fry and a sweet tea but waited 15 min for someone to walk it outside. I had to pull up to the drive through to ask why this is such horrible service. There was another car who waited 5 min and was served before me. The employee didn't even bother trying to walk over to me just went inside. DRIVE ANOTHER 5 MIN DOWN THE ROAD DONT BOTHER GOING THERE.
