The person came out and I'm like wait I didn't order this they gave me someone's else order smh. I waited a little bit more and nothing no one came out I called to let them know and all they did was HANG UP! That's very unprofessional on their part. They all need training in this place! The food was fine--it's McDonald's, so you pretty much know exactly what you're going to get. The burgers, fries, and drinks were what you'd expect, and I don't have any major complaints about the food itself. The problem is everything else. From the moment I walked in, it was obvious this place was a mess. Employees were arguing with one another, customers were acting rowdy, and at one point I even saw people going behind the counter. It felt less like a restaurant and more like a circus. The whole atmosphere was chaotic and poorly managed. You can usually tell when a location has leadership problems, and this place desperately needs a new GM or management team. There didn't seem to be any control over what was happening, and the overall experience was stressful instead of enjoyable. Had I known it was going to be this much of a zoo, I would have gone somewhere else. Again, the food was standard McDonald's fare, but the environment was so bad that it completely overshadowed the meal. I won't be returning to this location anytime soon. Terrible option for dine in. I came by for lunch to try one of their new discount meals. I got the $7 deal which was a small drink, small fries, small (4) nuggets and a double hamburger. I ordered my food and ended up waiting 50 minutes to get my whole order as I watched everyone else that came after me in curbside pickup get their food before me. This location needs corporate intervention/ new management. They are incapable of getting an order right. Every time you go through the drive thru they ask you to pull forward and wait for your food in a parking spot, even when you place an online app order well in advance and have already sat in the drive through for 15+ minutes. Wife purchased the Big Mac family meal, as always they mess up the order by missing multiple items. Happens every time. When we catch it staff acts like we are inconveniencing them to make the correction when they get paid 20$ an hour not to make these mistakes. This place can get super busy! There were a ton of drive thru orders (there was a long long line of cars) and dine in guests. Luckily, we weren't really in a hurry. We were just stopping by to get a drink before heading back to San Diego. They have self service kiosks, but if you are needing to talk to a live person, it might take a minute. They have a busy drive thru, so employees might be busy in back prepping orders. The way the front of this place is designed, it is difficult to see if someone is standing up front and requires help. The employees here are friendly, it just seems the design of the store makes customer service a low priority. Plenty of tables and the place is clean. I won't really comment on the food. We all kind of know what to expect when we order McDonald's food. The best thing here are the fries, and the soft drinks always taste good (right mix of syrup and carbonation). Not from the area, so I'm not sure when I might be back. I wouldn't come here if it's super busy (like during peak hours). One cool thing is the weekly specials. We got our food but at what cost? They told me to pull over to a stall because the burger wasn't ready. I asked if I had to cause you know its the drive thru and I had my toddler with me and they said yes I had to. I returned to the drive thru and handed them my bag and receipt, and asked to replace the fries. They returned my bag with only fries in it. The rest of my order was now missing. I had to return AGAIN to get my original order back with the correct size fries. What was supposed to be a quick drive to McDonald's turned into an hour long ordeal and I got home at midnight, no apologies or anything. For about the past 4 years this McDonald's has always messed up my orders quite often, and their fries are almost always soggy and under seasoned. Look at the eight numbered stalls they ask you to park in when they don't have your order ready even after sitting in the drive thru line for over ten minutes. This is the strangest McDonald's I've been to. It's clean and new. You order your food and pick up your food through a cubbie. The drinks are not self serve, even tap water. They have to get it for you and put it through the cubbies. The cashier disappears into the kitchen and you have to wait for her to appear.
